A decade long customer that's more than fed up with the deterioration of quality and service since Globe sold out to Mr. Not so Magic. We've polished out long scratches down the side of our cars left by your spinning metal cored brushes, rubbed out white residue and mineral water spots left everywhere from the poorly filtered water and seen prices go up and service go down. Management is frequently unable to help even upgrade your wash if you are dissatisfied with the poor wash provided by broken non functioning carwash parts. Save yourself frustration, paint damage and wasted time. Don't trust Mr Magic with your cars finish. read more

I have used this facility for many years with no issues but on December 18th 2025 while hand drying my 2024 Chevy truck after going thru their wash I noticed numerous scratches and deep gouges on both fenders and on the roof. I had just had the vehicle washed there 2 days prior to this and this damage was not present. I reported this to one of the attendants who was very helpful. He took all my information and video taped the damage. I was told that the company would get in touch with me. Finally on February 12th almost 2 months later and after a dozen calls and leaving messages with their automated response "Bubbles" I received am email from "Mr Magic Car Wash" stating that there was no way their equipment could have caused this damage and therefore my claim had been rejected. End of Story. But that they were offering me a free buff and exterior detail. I declined the offer not wanting anything done to my vehicle by this facility. read more

New Owners! I did not know new owners took over. I purchased a Monthly membership. Went back to use & they didn't supply towels & spray like they did before for drying & detail of car. My car tires were not cleaned like before. Not going back. Went over the hill in Moon Twp to New Mod Car Wash. AMAZING! read more

We have had a membership for a couple years now. The price is right and customer service is friendly and helpful. We also get our vehicles detailed here. They guy that does the detailing has never disappointed. We are very happy with this business, now Mr. Magic. read more

Globe Car Wash - Inside the wash unit - Car Wash Near Me - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

So disappointing. This was the best car wash in town when it was still operated by the Globe Car Wash team. It's now operated by Mr. Magic and the quality and service has gone downhill fast. After years of Globe Car Washes, I never had one incident. Under new ownership, I've never seen the tire shine working and my car's passenger side door was noticeably scratched the last time I went through. My car leaves the wash still soapy and looking incomplete. Save your money and find an alternative. read more

UPDATE: was very upset to see no staff in masks! Including staff who were at car windows to help patrons use the touch screen! I have a monthly membership for unlimited washes and it's a great deal. I have also had the full interior clean done. They do a great job but your car will have a chemical smell for a few days which I am not a fan of. Also many times I live the car wash and my car is not dry and I have water spots on then windows and mirrors. If you are looking for an unlimited package this is a great place to go howe read more

Horrible. I bought the unlimited and I wish I had never done it. The vacuums are so pathetic. I had to go to mod wash and sneak into the vacuum area to clean out my truck. GO TO MODWASH INSTEAD!!!! read more

What happened to this car wash? Yes, I was one of those people that when ModWash opened said " the last thing Moon needs is another carwash"...well, now I'm a ModWash unlimited member and had to go back and use Globe the other day when ModWash was down..what happened to this place? I see my debit card listed the fee as " Mr. Magic Carwash"..did Globe change ownership? I'm almost hoping it has because it was never this poorly run..from the $15 basic carwash without tires, wax, etc to the bays without a towel to dry your car off, to garbage EVERYWHERE on the ground..like customers emptied their car right on the pavement. I'm so glad it was a one and done time to have to use this carwash..for $25/month UNLIMITED, I get a wash, wax, tire-shine, and bug-spray and bays that are clean, stocked with towels all the time at ModWash. read more

Every time I go to globe car wash the tire shine device has been down, most people want that especially! Overall it's a good car wash love the floor mat cleaning machine vacuums are ok. read more

They keep charging double on my account. This happened 3 times. The drier/roller at the end misses my vehicle every other time. Also, since they switched over from Globe, car isn't cleaned as well. There are smudges and marks that need scrubbed briskly to remove. Update. My car's transmission went as I pulled into the vacuum area(obviously not their fault). I was out of the way of the other customers and alerted staff that I called AAA for a tow. The driver was awesome and in and out of a bad situation in less than five-all this despite Beavis the Manager barking "You need to move your car immediately" as the car was being put in position to tow. No SH$t, Beavis. No delays/obstruction to others and in and out in 5 minutes. Simmer down, Beavis and put your little chest away. Learn to have some empathy for others. Maybe when you grow up you can be a manager at a big boy place. Globe was run much better. read more

Went through today. Ripped the valve stems off my car causing 2 flat tires. Refused to fix. Refused to have it towed to a service place. Manager said it was my fault for having non factory stem covers. He walked away from me after asking for owner info. DO NOT USE read more

They did a great job inside and out. Nice to get a fresh coat of wax on the new ride. Only thing that would scare you away from this place is the staff fighting over the tips in front of you and others . Management needs to step in. If it weren't for this I would have have them 5 stars read more

Pay $25.00 a month for unlimited washes which I probably get 2 a month. Went last week for a wash and found no ability to dry vehicle. Staff refused to give me a towel to dry and their dryers are very insufficient . When I questioned staff I was laughed at and blatantly refused one.. manager stating " if I give you one I have to give everyone one." (Robert Jordan) When I mentioned why should I pay for the same services all year when they don't provide the same products, I was told to cancel my service. (Of which I did) I was also told to NEVER COME BACK...great customer service.. and my car looked worse when I got it home than when I ran it through the car wash... will take my business and my cash elsewhere.... read more

Located right along University Blvd, very convenient location. Although it can look like an intimidating maze from afar- Globe is efficient with their time as they offer everything from a drive through car wash and free vacuum to an interior/exterior detail. I dropped my car off for an interior detail. I called & made an appointment - extremely kind and helpful. I was only in town for 24 hours and they managed to fit me in! After paying, I went through the car wash then pulled in to leave my car for the detail. The woman visually made it clear she was less than enthused about getting another car, it was 3:30 PM. A man greeted me asking what service I was here for, he relayed the message. As she approaches me at my car, "it's going to be awhile." I received a call my car was complete 2 hours later. Despite the attitude, smudge marks on my back window and swirls on the roof of the exterior of my car - I am happy. read more

The last time I liked this car wash was before Mr. Magic took over. Every time I go, it seems that there are no towels (Not just a stall or two but several stalls with no towels), and the vacuums are clogged or broken and not closed off. I understand that car washes get busy, but with the amount of money this place makes (most likely in the 10s of millions in profit) and Mr. Magic's amount of employees, one would think that these things would be taken care of quickly. Overall sub-par car wash for a premium price. read more

This is a highly rated wash and comes highly recommended. You can see this owner truly cares about his customers and business. Wash is always doing something new and putting out a clean dry and shiny car. Thank you Globe!! read more

This place is the worst. There were no scratches on my car when it went in but there were scratches when it came out. Happened on a Sunday They said I'd get a call Monday. Never did. I called at least 4 times. All answering machine. Left messages never got a call back. Then I get a letter saying there's no video proof that it happened. Love that. And oh wow yeah. It's expensive. We have been long time subscribers to the monthly wash club and when the car wash was in Globe's hands they always did a great job keeping the equipment running well. Since it has changed hands and is now owned by Mr Magic it seems that things are breaking down and not getting fixed. read more

I paid an additional $5 to have the "attendant prep" prior to going through the car wash. Every time I have to remind the attendant to do the prep. Today was the worst, the attendant immediately started my car through the automatic wash. I beeped my horn to get their attention to remind them I had paid for an attendant prep. I had to back up the track and then hold my brake on while they prepped my car. If that wasn't enough, the attendant was very rude and acted like I had done something wrong ... I'm so disappointed, I've used this car wash for 10 years, however, the service for the past year and a half has been horrible. After today I will be looking for an alternative... read more

Terrible experience and poor customer service! We went there for an interior super clean and no one cleaned our car. They told us to leave and have lunch and the car will be clean when we returned. When we returned the car was not cleaned and then told us to talk to the manager. They refused to clean it because it was too dirty!! Completely wasted our time and the staff who was suppose to clean our car did not have any common decencies. The staff then threw our car keys on the windshield with no apologies or anything. This is a terrible business, will not go there again. They will only do interior cleaning for "clean" cars. read more

Best car wash in the area hands down. Everything is always clean inside. Unlike many other washes that have filthy brushes. Globe Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

I have been going to Globe on and off for the last few years. Recently with my new cars I decided to go all in for the unlimited services. Price wise, it is by far the way to go if you get your car washed at least weekly. If you are the occasional type, the pricing I will agree is a bit on the high side, and too many a la carte items. My first unlimited transaction was fine, the second I screwed up. Dropped an email and got a call from Amy the next day. The problem with the credit card and overcharge was fixed by the end of the day with a follow up call no less. Just a day or so ago I tried one of their "express services". The interior one which with my monthly package discount ended up being quite affordable. They worked on my car about 20+ minutes and when they finished the interior was close to showroom quality. Just a few little bits of dust here and there. I had a detail done by another vendor in Robinson that for 4 times the cost was not as clean as Globe did 20 minutes. Another reviewer from Long Island gave a less than glowing review. I am also from Long Island, the car wash I used back there on Woodbury road, is comparable to Globe in price. What I remember from Long Island the level of service was directly related to the amount of tip you gave. Sure, after the 3rd or 4th time the workers got to know you. You tip well and the service back there still is way better than anything I have seen in Pittsburgh. That is also the problem, I only know of maybe one or two car washes (in the Moon TWP area) that still has people that towel dry your vehicle. So, you cannot "enhance" the level of services because everything is automated now. That is the way we are going, machines replacing people. Bottom line, Globe may not perfect, but your vehicle will still come out cleaner than the ever more growing mega-gas stations car wash. read more

After re-checking with the detailer, Globe accepted responsibility and reimbursed me for the damages.

Best car wash in Pittsburgh. Clean, fast and friendly staff. Free vacuum and compressed air with car mat cleaners for your use!

I took my suv to be full detailed, and I had already done a sweep through before going in. Needless to say I wasn't completely pleased with it, they charge an awful lot for sub par vacuuming, and wiping down. I still left a good tip, because I guess they did something. However I wouldn't recommend the detail service to anyone. The back row of seats, was barely wiped, no vacuuming. The outside detail, headlights were still filthy. And some white residue was left on all of windows and exterior. Look forward to finding a new place:)! read more

It's beyond me why this car wash has invested in all the high tech self service machines still to have a slow associate come put your money in for you when You can do it faster and what happened to social distancing there all in your window helping while the other lane goes in front of you..I can't wait until the new car wash opens down the road. To many slow employees. Invest in getting your $money machine fixed. We can operate them ourselves. I have been going here for Years was so happy to see upgrades now this. read more

It was great until they installed the touch screens to pay... I have short arms so I have to get out of my car to use them! This is one of the best car washes that I have used. The prices are a little pricey, but I think for what they offer it's about right. This car wash offers free vacuums if you want to vacuum out your vehicle. There is bug guard that is included with the top wash that includes the hot lava wax and the second tier wash. This is a brush free car wash instead their are microfiber like cloths that clean your car and your car gets dried completely. If your car gets dirty within the next 3 days to get a free express wash just bring your receipt. They even offer hand washing and detailing. read more

The actual car wash was great. The people...eh...it was my first time, and rather than treating me nicely, I was treated as if the place were run by the soup Nazi. Sadly, a lot of places around here think that being rude is endearing. Sorry, you're wrong! Life's too short, I'm goin somewhere else. read more

This might be the worst car wash I've ever been to. I moved here from Long Island and you would think pricing would be much more expensive there. Well it's not. Most car washes back home are full service (exterior, interior and vacuuming and towel drying all included, thought you can opt for exterior only most places too). I'm used to average price of about $20 for what I would consider an acceptable was. For $15, I thought I would get at least a half decent wash. That was not the case. Being that it's not towel dry, and I'm willing to accept that since I can't seem to many full service car washes here, there were so many water spots. Honestly, I'll live with that though. However, to have someone take the sprayer and risne my rubber, all weather mats, the owner wants to charge more. I've NEVER paid extra for that. So when I threw the on the hood of my car, which I've done in NY, the owner told someone to take them off my hood before going through. Talking about a cheap owner. That on top of the quality and pricing, I would never go back and I recommend that you avoid this place at all costs unless you are ok with supporting a cheap business owner. read more

I decided to get the ultimate exterior wash which costs $15. It was a dollar extra because I have a SUV I also decided on the $34.95 interior supreme clean for the inside of the Jeep. They did a decent job on the car wash which was automated and the interior looked good as well. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the friendliness of the employees. I kind of felt like I was bothering them and they were irritated by my presence. The car wash does offer 48-hour guarantee which means you can bring it in with no questions asked and get a seven dollar express wash for free. read more
