I confirm with staff this is what I am purchasing and came to the store for but would like some time to look around at other items. The owner then tells me the price of rock fragments has changed from $12 to $20 that very moment. Me: that feels personal. Now that I expressed interest into this item you are increasing the price? Owner: yes, my cost have gone up. Me: Then it should be listed at $20. This is false advertising. You couldn't do this if you were walmart. Owner: im not walmart. And it's $20. Me: no, that feels personal and poor business practice. Owner: Fine, I can sell it to you for $12. Me: okay, I will purchase at $12 but again this feels personal and poor business practice. I dont feel welcome back here. Owner: Fine get out! Me: I'm going to post about this. Owner: go ahead. No one will care. Considering I was buying the leftovers from the tumbler and no labour cost was incurred. I stand by this small business owner making poor client care choices. Do not suggest going to this store.

I was namely interested in the fact that they carry work by A.J. Casson which we lost in the fire. Once I asked for prices on replacing frames and that i needed the information for insurance purposes, I was told "I'm too busy". So I said I have one more question and was told "I'm busy" and he proceeded to look at his phone and appeared to be texting. So I persisted and said that I was interested in Casson specifically because I had lost a whole collection of Casson's work and the reply was "I don't know what it's worth, you'll have to go on line and find it" and he just carried on with his phone and ignored me. I have several pieces which were damaged in the fire and are in need of re-framing but I didn't dare mention that because I knew the answer,"I'm too busy". Thanks for showing your level of service before I trusted you with any of my work. Mike

They offered coffee, water, and treats, and allowed me to peruse their selection of beads at my own pace. This store has a very affordable collection, some lovely wooden beads, some plastic, a lot of unusually carved items. They had a demo of one of their tools that looks like a ring, to help open a ring to attach something to it. Cool! They offer classes too.
