It is unfortunate that I have to leave such a negative review. I started working with Global Gate in November 2024 regarding my tax issues. Initially, Ivy and Yessenia were great -- professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Unfortunately, once my account was transferred to Devonte as my account manager, communication and service went downhill quickly. There were long periods with no follow-up calls or emails regarding the status of my case, leaving me assuming things were being handled. Anytime documentation or forms were requested from me, I responded immediately because I did not want delays caused by my side. Later, I asked Devonte to file my 2025 federal and state taxes. I sent all required tax documents and forms, only to later receive a short email after numerous attempts to get a status update stating that I had never sent the documents. Thankfully, I blind-copy myself on all emails, so I had proof the documents were sent. After providing proof, I received another short and unprofessional response from Devonte stating: "I do not have your 2025 tax documents. Re send the 2025 tax documents. Very simple." "Very simple" was an incredibly unprofessional way to address a client concern. After additional calls -- most of which went unanswered and directly to voicemail -- and several more emails requesting a refund for the 2025 tax filing fee, Devonte finally informed me that a mistake had been made and that he did, in fact, see my 2025 tax return had already been completed and only needed my approval to be submitted. The date of that email was 5/28/2026, well past the filing deadline. At that point, I still requested a refund. Devonte eventually called me and stated management initially declined the refund request, but that he "fought" for me and I would receive the refund. He then sent me a refund form to sign. To make matters worse, I also received a lien on my house this week because the IRS rejected the offer. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing due to poor communication, poor management, lack of accountability, and unprofessional client interactions when communication did happen. read more

Terrible experience with Global Gate. I worked with them for almost two years, and it was the same issue the entire time: they don't respond, and when they finally do, they've already switched you to a different advisor. Every new person asks for the same documents all over again, like they've never worked on your case before. In the end, they completely lost track of my information. In my case, they didn't even know what had been done anymore. They went as far as filing my 2023 and 2024 tax returns without my authorization, even though those returns had already been properly filed by another preparer. Because of their disorganization, I now have problems with the IRS and have to go in person to fix a situation they created. They never take responsibility, never admit mistakes, and their responses are unprofessional. It honestly feels like dealing with people who have no control over what they're doing. If you hire them, be prepared to lose your money. They are not an honest company and will not solve your problem. Honestly, stay away and find another option. read more

Horrible Experience - Do Not Trust This Company I am absolutely appalled at the way this company has treated me. If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. What they've done is beyond disappointing -- it's outrageous. I've had bad service before, but this situation is on a completely different level. They took my money upfront, made promises they didn't keep, and left me hanging. The job was either never completed or abandoned midway without any clear explanation. I was so patient since March 17 and try to not bother them but When I reached out for help, asked for answers they start running away hang up the phone on my face several times, they ignored me entirely or gave me excuse after excuse. No resolution. No accountability. What's even worse is their attitude. They seem to have no sense of responsibility or care for their customers telling me we applied for an extension, but I didn't ask for an extension and I applied for your service since March and now it's almost the end of May . Once they receive payment, it's like you no longer exist. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to make things right. They don't even have my phone number right , what kind of company is that . Their only focus appears to be taking your money -- and once they have it, they disappear. The way they operate feels like a scam. There's no other way to put it. Their business practices are shady, dishonest, and deeply frustrating. This isn't just poor customer service -- it's predatory. I genuinely regret ever trusting them. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and sharing my experience across every platform I can so others don't fall into the same trap. Do not trust this company. Do not give them your money. There are far better, more honest businesses out there. This one has proven to be nothing but a waste of time, energy, and money. read more

I hired Global Gate to handle my tax situation. They promised to stop all liens and levies and take care of my tax issues with the IRS and Washington State Department of Revenue. I paid them over $4,000, trusting that they would take quick action like they said. After more than six months, they never started the process or did anything to fix my situation. I kept following up, but they gave me excuses and no real updates. My tax problems actually got worse while I was waiting on them. They eventually gave me a partial refund, but the damage was already done. I trusted them to protect me and handle things professionally, and instead they left me in a worse position. Don't believe these positive reviews. They are all paid for. I actually hired them to do an offer and compromise for me and they BLEW it. I personally talked to the IRS agent who denied me, and she flat out told me that the company I hired (Global Gate) didn't get her half the shit she requested to get my case across the finish line. Horrible Service. I have been paying them for almost a year thinking they were going to help me and yet they have not. I have tried to contact them to cancel, but I have not been able to get anyone to answer my emails, texts or calls. I went with them for an IRS issue and for them to help me do accounting for me. I have not received help with either of those issues. I am upset at all the money I wasted by staying with them...does anybody pay know if I could take legal action against them and try and get my money back for lack of service provided? Don't waste your money...they will not do what they say they will and they won't communicate with you either. read more
