I was referred to RMD by a family member, so I decided to give them a call. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this law firm. It took them three months to review my case, only to tell me that it wasn't significant enough for them to take on and that they could not help me. During those three months, I was going to therapy three times a week, believing my case was being evaluated. After all that time, they told me I had two options: get a referral to another law firm, or receive a packet so I could pursue the matter in Small Claims on my own. I'm very disappointed in how my case was handled. It should not take three months to determine whether a case can be accepted. The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating. In November of 2022 it was a normal night for me driving to go get Chinese food as a celebration for a new job. While on the way back home as we were crossing into an intersection at speed limit a young girl on her phone hit us because she wasn't paying attention and caused our car to flip 3 times. We were transferred to the hospital and discharged 5 and a half hours later. The next day I woke up and immediately I knew something was wrong, I could not walk and I was in excruciating pain; I needed help walking to and from the restroom and was bed bound for about a month due to my injuries. I called RMD law because our insurance wasn't doing enough and didn't seem to care nor were they investigating correctly (our case was so messy due to lack of information from multiple sources). I reached out for a consultation at 8pm and Aria walked us through the whole process. Aria and his team took exceptional care of us and made sure our needs were met, they arranged X-rays for my back, pain management, CT scans, fought the car insurance (because they were shitty, not our policy), fought the young girl's car insurance(also shitty), and always checked on us to make sure we were okay. I had the worst luck in the world in Feb 2024 when someone in my neighborhood backed out of their driveway right into my car. Upon impact my airbag deployed right into to my chest and face, such a frightening experience. My daughter drove me to the hospital where they determined my sternum was fractured. Not a good thing for anyone, but being 74 would mean a longer recovery. After spending 24hrs in the hospital, I went home and found out the other driver claimed it was my fault. Thankfully my daughter remembered contacting a lawyer she found on Yelp and although they determined based on her accident she would probably get the same result not using his law firm, she suggested I give them a call. Thank goodness I called RMD Law. My first exchange was with Aria the owner who assured me that they could help me and I could just heal. Although the other driver originally denied responsibility my team at RMD LAW, Michael and Ariana worked really hard for me and they finally excepted liability and after much due diligence by my POC Ariana was able to settle my case in 6 months for more than I could have expected even though the guy that hit me had only basic liability along with my "Underinsured Motorist Coverage". All of the fees were explained at the very beginning so there were no surprises. I truly want to thank them for all of the hard work and diligence in following up, getting all of the documentation together. Ariana was my main point of contact and she was always kind and caring, as well as prompt courteous and professional.
