The Seoul (Korea) All-Beef 1/4 lb Hot Dog
    Chelsea R.

This place was awesome!! The owner was running the kitchen and he was so friendly and personable. The food was out of this world delicious. The food was all so creative and yummy! I tried the Seoul Korean hot dog and WOW. The flavor on that thing had me saying "yummmm" after every bite. 100% recommend this place!

I stumbled upon this restaurant and I'm so happy i did. Delicious hot subs and friendly staff!! The chips were delicious! I think they were homemade and were super crunchy and not oily. Planning to come back to try out the other items on the menu.

Just tried this place and loved it. The inside of the restaurant is really cool with postcards and pictures from places all around the world. The menu is thoughtful and filled with interesting bites. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the owners/management and they were really cool and nice guys. I ordered the Kingston sub that has jerk chicken and a mango slaw on top and a tarragon crema. The sub tasted great, the chicken had a lot of Smokey flavor and spice and it was all cooled down with the mango slaw and crema. The bread of the sandwich was also really good, it was soft and everything I'd want a piece of bread for a sub to be. My meal also came with chips on the side that are made and seasoned in house and they were borderline addictive. This place is definitely a welcomed addition to the RVA food scene and the location and service is five star. I highly suggest giving this place a try.

Here is the front - very inviting to come in!

Just opened and is a much needed addition to the food scene in Richmond. Located in the Fan at 1825 W. Main St. this new eatery adds a new dimension to international dining! Global themed hot dogs and sandwiches are a epic hit! Foods are from Korea, Greece, France, Cuba, USA, Thailand and more! Very authentic and great prices. We had the Caribbean Hot Dog with mango saw, banana ketchup, Scallions, Cilantro and a habanero drizzle which was fantastic and filling. Also got a Havana Sandwich which was Mojo Smoked Pork, Ham, Fontina, Gruyère& Gouda Cheeses, honey mustard on a toasted roll. Great flavors blend together for another home run. Also had a all beef dog which was delicious. Also had a a Tomato, Cucumber and avocado Salad that came fresh with a incredible balsamic dressing! The many, many sauces and salsas are all fresh made and ever entree comes with fresh made potato chips. The service staff was great. Was greeted and made to feel like family. The ambiance is global themed and very fun and whimsical! Can't wait to go back!

    Kingston (Jerk Chicken sub)

Easily a top 3 restaurant in Richmond (along with Blue Atlas and Bocata in any order) based on food alone, but also probably has the best service of any restaurant here. Tried the Kingston and the Istanbul and these quickly rose to the top of my best sandwiches in Richmond list. The bread pudding muffins were also great and flavorful but not too sweet. Back to the service- the owner seems like one of the most genuine people I have met. He definitely deserves the success through his hard work with creating this concept. Very unique and flavorful food, very friendly service. Pros: -Amazing food, very flavorful and tender chicken -Service is outstanding Cons -If people listen to the reviews as they should, the building won't be big enough because everyone should be going here.

Best wings I've had in years! The Global dogs had a ton of flavor and the portions are massive. There's a fusion flavor for everyone with any taste buds

Istanbul (Turkey) Smoked Chicken (I got it without tomatoes)

I wanted a quick between-class meal and gave this new spot a try because the menu looked super interesting and the price range was reasonable. I ended up ordering the Istanbul smoked chicken "shawarma" wrap for takeout and when I arrived to pick up the person working the counter (who I believe was the owner but I am not entirely sure) was super friendly and greeted me by name since I'd ordered ahead. He was in great spirits and made certain that I knew he appreciated my business. The food was hot and ready and the portion size was generous. I was starving and I couldn't even finish the sandwich! The only small critique that I would make is that the chicken could have used a little bit more seasoning, but it was cooked perfectly and I didn't enjoy my food less because of it. It's clear that a lot of love goes into the food here and it was such a bummer to see the dining room and patio completely empty when I went to pick up my food at the beginning of dinner service. The menu is creative and the customer service is superb, Global Fusion is a perfect spot for a quick bite or a sit down meal. I also really appreciate that they have menu options below $10, which is becoming increasingly rare to come across these days. I can't wait to take my partner and try something new!

This little shop is full of Richmond cuteness. From specialty groceries, to locally-made art, to unique gifts and treasures, I could easily have filled my suitcase with goodies. I ended up buying a gorgeous postcard here (designed by a local artist) - the design featured the coffee shops of Richmond. Of course, I forgot to take a pic (who me?) but it was adorbs. The latte was delish, too! I don't usually like cherry-flavored things, but on a warm morning this was the perfect touch. The edible flowers made it just that much more delightful.

You can order your coffee drinks at the front. They also have all the standard Stella's Greek food to go options. At the very front you're greeted by cute Richmond souvenirs and gifts. Everyone we spoke to (venues, coordinators, etc.) recommended Groovin, and as soon as we reached out we understood why - from the very beginning they were incredibly responsive, and happy to answer our many (many) questions. Kaylyn made the planning process easy, helping us to develop a staffing plan to help with the set-up of our venue (The Workshop by T&D, which was also great). Groovin staff came the day before to set up ceremony chairs and then immediately after the ceremony efficiently moved all the chairs to the other side of the venue for dinner. They helped us coordinate rentals with Party Perfect and had all the right answers (and questions) during our on-site venue walkthrough. As for the food itself, everything was delicious! People always tell you that you won't eat at your own wedding, but the food was so good that we sat and ate our entire plates. Guests raved and two friends told us that they even came up with targeted strategies to chase down their favorite hors d'oeuvre when they came out. We especially recommend the pork belly hors d'oeuvre and the szechuan salmon entree. From start to finish, Groovin' was efficient and professional, and we would highly recommend them for any event.

It is fast casual - you order at the kiosk and grab a place to eat, listening for your number and/or text to alert you the food is ready. We arrived about 6pm on a Saturday night. It was busy and I grabbed one of the last two tables. It got very busy shortly after we placed our orders. The dining area is pretty big with plenty of bar seating around the windows. While we all ordered one after the other, our food didn't come out that way. Most of the food came out in about 25-30 minutes. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy! Two people got tenders and three of us got sandwiches. The OG sandwich was very good, just messy! I ended up using a fork and knife bc it got too messy. The Mac and cheese was made with pimento cheese and was very good. My friend who got the fried green tomatoes said they were delicious and filling. Lots of goodies on top. Two friends enjoyed the collards. The only person who was underwhelmed was the person who got the Asian sandwich. We walked in to find the staff bustling, cooking, and prepping orders, and the smell of some delicious fried chicken in the air. I saw the kiosks and was not too thrilled with the Wawa experience, but we gave it a shot anyway, since fried chicken is one of our favorites. The process was simple and allowed us to add or remove anything we could want, so that was nice. While walking to find a seat, we saw a person panhandling in the dining area, but the staff promptly removed him from the premises. I ordered us the Pimento Cheese Balls for an appetizer, and I chose the Fried Chicken and French Toast as my entree because I always try the "chicken and waffles" at every establishment that offers it. My partner ordered the OG Chicken Sandwich without tomato, and it came with crinkle-cut fries. It was about $40. The chef proclaimed our order was ready in quick succession, maybe three orders behind the guests before us. We waited about ten minutes, maybe fifteen at most. We picked up the orders from the counter, and there was a mix-up on the syrup, but the chef promptly rectified the situation. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy; straight to the point. He seemed firm, yet kind. It was clear the day had been a busy one; he even told us as much, which was great to hear (busy = fantastic food). The French toast squares looked like rye or pumpernickel, and they emitted a sweet aroma, a delightful hit of cinnamon and brown sugar. I drizzled the caramel syrup on my chicken and toast, sliced a piece, and paired a bite of chicken with the toast. I closed my eyes to savor the flavors: the toast was crunchy and almost gooey (yet, not overly so), the chicken was crunchy, the sweet cinnamon-y flavors from the toast, the caramel from the syrup, and the tender, moist chicken were a match made in culinary art. I cannot sufficiently describe the French toast in a way that would do it justice; it was crunchy and semi-gooey, and all scrumptious. I can only say it was the single best French toast that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Next, I tried the fried pimento cheese balls. Oh my. If you like mozzarella sticks, try these. I adored them: elevated fried cheese, for real. My partner enjoyed her sandwich as well; she ate everything except some of her fries. I saved half of my chicken and toast for today because I am like a treasure golem when it comes to delicious leftovers. I am going to air-fry the chicken and skillet-heat the toast back to its original goodness. I told the cooks that that was the best French toast that I have ever had, and I mean it. Do yourself a favor and try it if you're into French toast. This one is the GOAT. Side note: I spoke with the head chef outside, and he is from another branch (possibly Henrico?) to whip this location back into shape. Two words: "Nailed it."
