We have been using Global Cooling (GC) as our HVAC maintenance team for probably five years. The customer service provided by GC has always been second to none. Just amazing! On the evening of November 21st, we noticed our 12-year-old air handler had frozen over and our condenser was making a strange noise. We called GC and they were at the house the next day. Cali has been our regular tech over the years, and he showed up on time. He diagnosed the issue and provided us with a few options. We opted for the full replacement since the unit was old enough to warrant it. He explained the pricing and payment options well and without any type of pressure. Oscar and Jackson showed up on the 26th and preceded to rip the old out and brought the new in. They both were exceptionally courteous and kind. About six hours later, the entire area was cleaned and any questions were answered. Cali called about a half hour after they left to check on the install. He asked to call back once the ducting was cleaned and disinfected just to ensure that it went smoothly. Y'all, Global Cooling has been a friend to us for years. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely consider them for all your HVAC needs!! read more

We have been using Global Cooling for 4 years and two houses. One with an old unit and one with a new unit. The global technicians are always very motivated. Every time they come to inspect our units, they are very thorough and informative. Just today I got to meet Eric and Cali, they were both courteous, very thorough with the maintenance, and informative. We have also followed on all their recommendations and our two year unit is still as new. I can tell the difference with some neighbors and how they've had to call emergency services because their units won't cool. I don't have those problems thanks to them. We have experience of 3 years. We have been taking for granted. We feel that we have been tricked with the prices like others complain. We feel that they are service people that simply don't care and can maybe even cause damage. Our recommendation is to choose somebody else and stay away from Global Cooling and Robert Mafes. We feel that this Global Cooling business of Robert Mafes is run in a questionable way and we also feel the customers are being intimidated to give five star reviews based on what we saw. read more

My A.C. broke down right on schedule, about 10 years after buying new home. I had heard nightmare stories about some of the AC companies in this area, but gave Global Cooling a shot due to rave reviews and word of mouth. So glad I did too cause they did not disappoint. They installed a new system immediately at a very affordable price. Rob provided great customer service. I highly recommend these guys. My husband contacted this company after our 9 year trane unit stopped working giving us an error 91. A technician named Marco showed up. This young man opened the unit and tried to figure it out what was wrong. He was in contact with someone else through the phone trying to get directions how to make a diagnostic. After 30 minutes he told me my AC wasn't a regular AC that it was more complicated than he anticipated and someone from the office had to come and check it out. He really seemed lost and inexperienced. After closing the AC he said he just needed to collect the fee for his visit. What a joke! I told him he didn't make any diagnosis and he was also relying on someone else through the phone. He dared to call me cheap "miserable" because I didn't want to pay for his time. I don't recommend this company at all. It seem they just want to take the $ visit from you without offering any solution. For reference my unit is a Trane XC80 read more

We had Global Cooling check our failed 22year old heat/cooling pump last Tuesday. A major valve failed. Home insurance would not cover it. We discussed repair/replace options with the owner Margo & his son. They were very informative about the condition of the unit, it's refrigerant of R-22 is outdated, the poor efficiency and cost to repair an outdated unit vs replace, & they shared a variety of makes, efficiency (SEER) ratings and prices to install a new unit. We chose a 15SEER Bryant and Global which they installed , repaired the roof tiles, and a new breaker & thermostat in just one week after the initial diagnosis. Its also much quieter and will be cheaper to operate too. It's refreshing to work with a reliable and honest contractor for such a key home system! read more
