This location cares more about their numbers than customer experience…read more I tried transferring my active Austin, TX PBT membership to this location because they could never find my account each time I came in with their database & would let other customers ahead of me. Instead of letting me transfer stores like a franchise should they were forcing me to set up a new membership with a cc & treating me as they were doing me a favor to use their location as if I wasn't already a paying member. To sign up for the same benefits I had in TX would be exponentially higher needing to also sign up for a wellness program. Understandable the Lancaster store doesn't have identical machines but they would not honor the wellness benefits I had with my long term membership or even discuss including something comparable. New membership with less value when I simply needed to transfer PBT locations? Sign up again for automatic draft? No thank you. I spoke with the owner of the PBT Lancaster but she was unwilling to discuss a negotiation or acknowledge the frustration of loss of benefits. I googled, as a consumer, how using franchises benefit us. Franchises are suppose to be ensuring the CUSTOMER receives the same level of quality & service regardless of the location. Epic fail. Was a member since 2019. I need to feel like I can trust a company to treat me fairly to trust them with automatic payments. This location lost my trust when they didn't respect my membership moving from another state so I canceled my membership. This review comes after speaking with the owner. Don't let their response fool you. The owner was given the opportunity to right the wrong before I made this review.

I've always been happy and recommended it to others…read more Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience- the solution was applied streaky and uneven, which has never been the case before. I was concerned about how the uneven tan would look and did not want to take a risk for an event, so I showered slightly before the recommended window. I called to notify the manager and ended up speaking to the person who did my spray tan. I just wanted to explain the situation and my concerns. She wasn't rude, but was somewhat dismissive and said because I didn't wait and see (and therefore risk having an uneven, streaky look) that nothing could be done. She suggested I should have waited and then if so was unhappy exfoliated the tan off myself later. For a place I've never had tanning issues with to suggest I just hope for a good outcome when clearly the tan wasn't applied correctly (perhaps due to a faulty sprayer, which she said had been broken earlier that week), but claimed was working this day, though my experience seems to suggest otherwise. This whole experience seemed off to me for a place I have been frequenting for years with no issues. It's a shame because I was always satisfied there and now feel that due to the poor quality and lack of effort to reimburse me for the tan, I will seek another place. I should also mention she asked for a tip three times while I was checking out and said 20% is standard. While as always do tip, I feel this should be an option, and not repeatedly asked for by staff. I'm not sure if the shop is under new management (Lisa referenced a manager when I first arrived, but when I called back she said she is the manager). Either way, I'm disappointed in the service and the quality and will not be going back or recommending to others again.

The person at the counter looked up my name and said you had 3 but they expired last week. If you would've come in last week you could've used them. I said really, okay, well I am not going to buy a new package since I just lost 3 sessions that I paid for. I left and went home and looked at the FAQ and it says packages never expire. I then emailed them and no response or phone call. Below is directly from their website. Do my sessions / packages ever expire? There are no time dates or expiry dates on packages or sessions purchased. They are there until you use them. A little customer service goes a long way. I bought 5 sessions, 3 expired. Do you think I will be back and how many people do you think I've told this story too? I've been going there since 2004, will find a new place.
