i've seen the same dust bunnies and trash on the floor in less than a month since i've started going at this location. birthday wrong in the system and none of the staff ever working in the evening can fix it. didn't get a key ring tag until 3 weeks into membership. genuinely watching the staff one night and hear one girl say to another "you literally don't know what you're doing" which was very apparent because there was a line of people and she acted like it was her first day. mind you i've been coming almost daily for almost a month. they need to be trained. it's not professional when your employees have no interest in learning how to do their job correctly. why are the rugs in front of the tanning beds filthy? i don't want to put my bare foot on a rug that's filled with dirt and crumbs. it's gross. the beds are merely "wiped" i literally see the same particles on these beds day after day. laziness. this seems to be the only location this is happening at. read more

Terrible experience on 4/8 and then again on 4/9. What I want to know is where is the management staff when it's time to step in to help! Obviously getting an early start to the weekend. My wife and I stopped by on 4/8 and the sign in the door said closed for technical difficulties. Next day early afternoon we walked into a crowded lobby! There were ladies behind the check in counter and you can tell they were not happy. After I found out why I understand. Apparently some of the staff quit on Friday 4/8 - now I can't excuse their method of protest but again speaking with other customers in the lobby I understand. The manager who is absolutely one of the best, personable, knowledgeable and full of energy is now gone. Apparently she didn't get commission on products, wouldn't be paid if she worked beyond 40 hours. That Glo Tanning management is unacceptable!! Now I've got to reconsider my membership - if changes aren't made immediately then I will terminate. For the two ladies that worked on 4/9 - kudos to them while dealing with some irate customers! read more

If i could rate the customer service department a zero I would. I was in the store and requested a freeze around the 15th of the month as I havent been tanning. Was told it was handled. then on the second I see that I was charged the full amount. I call the customer service and am told she got it canceled and that I would be getting my refund in 5 days. I callback on the 6th day to be told that I cant freeze my account in the store on the tablet that they have me sign. I then was informed that they would look into a refund but would give me a store credit if I was still interested in freezing my account. The customer service line are rude, unprofessional, refuse to actually assist and do not care about their customers. I was actually told that she understands that I am going through.. I am not going through anything and would just like to cancel a service that was suppose to be frozen. Their team did not do what they were suppose to and yet we are the ones that have to pay. I never YELP, but I'm really worried about this location. Several times the staff is no show leaving one girl to handle everything . Line building up to the door, and management next door doing NOTHING to help. I feel so bad for the staff. Almost offered to help her clean beds. Not beneath the customer but clearly beneath management next door ignoring the staff and customers. Went online to CANCEL because of constant issues, but only given a choice to freeze? I pay extra to not be in a contract and they make it impossible to cancel. ATB is gone now GLO is on its way behind them, all due to crap management. read more

The beds are really nice and the spa services are ok, but honestly I pay too much for what I receive. I've been in multiple times and had long waits in line for no apparent reason (multiple employees present but only one working, etc.) Multiple times the computer systems have gone down so I wasn't even able to utilize services that day -- after driving 15-20 minutes to get to the closest location near me. Multiple times I've been told I can't have an open bed because someone "reserved" it even though they were not ready to get into it, yet at the same time I've been on the list multiple times to have a bed that I was on the list for given away as I stood awkwardly to the side in a robe ready to get into it. (Btw: People standing on the side in robes have already checked in and should have priority as next in-Iine... It is super awkward/embarrassing to have to stand like that while multiple walk-ins are prioritized! This is made worse by having the service you were due next for filled right in front of you by a bunch of walk-ins, as you helplessly stand to the side in a thin robe...) I've been coming since January and the negative experiences have exceeded the good ones unfortunately. I really hope to see an overall improvement in future visits! It would also be wonderful if a Deer Creek location opened -- we have a need over here that isn't being met! read more

This is the worst tanning place. You are bombarded every time to buy over priced products. Told you get imaginary credits when you freeze your account but when you go to unfreeze it they charge you the prorated amount it would be for anyone to start a member ship and use those "credits" to make you pay that same amount. I'm not sure how they stay in business. if we had more options I would tan elsewhere. read more

I came in the Nichols Hills location around 7:45 pm. There were a ton of people that evening for whatever reason, and the staff was amazing. shea and her team went above and beyond letting me try all the treatments and staying until half an hour past closing time to get all my treatments in. All the girls were working together so hard for each customer and you don't find such amazing customer service like that much anymore. Well this is the 2nd time they unlawfully charged my credit card and then refused to refund it but only apply a store credit. I specifically asked for them to refund my card and was told it's absolutely not possible. How is it not possible to use the store credit I have?? They lie to you regarding their policies and then you can't even speak to a manager regarding their workers charging you incorrectly. I am extremely disappointed in this place, their customer service and the way they handle business. If you want to be ripped off and lied to, then this is the place to go throw your money into the wind! read more

I love coming here. These girls that work here are so amazing, especially my favorite girl Amber. I came in tonight and they just looked so overworked and exhausted. I feel so bad for these young girls, who I believe are in high school. Hopefully this establishment isn't overworking these young ladies and I also hope they are well compensated for selling your products, because that is what they seem to really push for. This location has drastically changed in a negative way over the past 3-4 weeks. The management is next door and doesn't even step up to help the girls in the salon. I'm not sure what happened to Kaden (I think that was his name) & Amber, but they kept this location operating in a professional manner. Now you try to come get a 10 minute tan and it literally takes an hour, when it is NOT busy. Also, if you like a towel, bring your own! The past 5 visits, I've been told "Sorry, we are out of towels." How are you out of towels at 10:00 A.M. This doesn't fall back on the new staff that have been thrown to the wolves, this falls back on crappy management! Amber & Kaden if you two see this, know that you are missed!!! read more

i will never come back to this location again after today. i always get the worst experience, especially the last 2 times i've been in. they don't pay attention to people in line waiting for beds, they tend to put people in before you & then make you wait when you've been here for 20 mins already & had asked for that bed prior to anyone before me. so sad since this location is right down the street safe to say i'll be going to the other locations. hope these gals get their shit together. maybe do some more team training in customer service cause this is down right sad. read more

can't get tan in this place. not sure what is wrong. last year in may i used this company and got very tan aftee 30 days using the stand up tanning bed only. this year i have used the most powerful (lay down) tanning beds on "intense" for the maximum amount of time. i have tanned almo every day for 12 days and i can't see any change in my skin color. there is definitely a problem. maybe this place hasn't changed their tanning bed bulbs since last summer. i suggest you find a different salon to tan in. read more

This place is so slow right now. I know they say they "are understaffed" but it shouldn't take an hour and half to get in and out when I got there right at 10 am when they opened. They worry too much about checking everyone in instead of checking in a few, cleaning and getting people in to beds, then back to checking people in. WOW. The customer service in this location is horrible. A girl named Sara was the rudest so far. I am treated like an idiot by Miss Sara. My parents have owned salons for over 15 years and if our associates treated our customers this way we would fire them immediately. I asked to not go in a stand up because I'm a lazy tanner and she said she didn't want to put me in the bronzing bed for a third time. I immediately said I am not getting tan from it anyways and would like any bed that I do t have to stand in. Obviously she miss understood and said your ready in 5 the bronzing bed.? I asked why are you sending me to the bed you just told me you weren't going to se d me to? She said I asked you if you wanted to wait?!! No she did not. And when I told her she had not asked me to wait she proceeded to argue with me. Not a care in the world about the customer. Just about Sara and her opinion. I appreciate the prompt response and I'll edit my review because from speaking to her it does seem that rudeness is not tolerable to them or their norm, so I'll give it another shot. I was forced to come to this location because my usual location (150th & Western) is relocating and this is now my nearest Glo location. The employee was so rude, and cut me off while I was speaking, and ignored me. She was impatient to me and just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I also was not guided with what to do/where to sit between services (I tried tanning in a UV bed as well as a spray tan) and normally when you're done tanning (at the other nicer location) you go back to the front desk and they set you up with your spray. She just ignored me. I don't like this place. I think I'll try another location even though it's further. read more

I went here last year and it was fabulous not now I spent 45 minutes waiting for a spa and they only had one employee working she kept telling me she was going to clean the cocoon but kept checking people in and now there are 10 people in here waiting and no one cleaning rooms. They are all thieves. Usually my experience at Glo Tanning in Nichols Hills is an enjoyable experience. until the very end of Aug of 2022. it was around 3:30pm in a Saturday afternoon. Mind you, they close at 6pm on Saturdays. I went in and did my biweekly spray tanning session in the Versa room. It's custom practice to remove jewelry from one self during an session, right? Well don't. Don't ever remove anything of value. #1 The girl had to set my booth twice. It was obvious she was new and easily frazzled, that's sort of okay. #2 offered a large towel instead of a hand towel. That's not customarily but whatever. #3 The wet wipe dispenser was empty which threw my whole routine off. I left that stupid huge towel over my personal belongings and left my yellow diamond engagement ring, diamond wedding band, and a diamond square cluster ring my mother gave me. Now, we all know the rooms are cleaned after each customer. They have to replace the towels and hair net. Two hours later I called and no rings. So, either they don't clean their rooms or their staff are thieves. Guest services couldn't provide support. They didn't care. Never spoke to a manager. They just hoped I went away without any kind word or compensation. The way I was brushed off over and over makes me feel they're all guilty. This is the most devastating and gut wrenching experience I have ever had to go through in my life. Guest services, the staff, and missing management team should be ashamed of themselves. You think it's safe and luxurious? It's a bunch of sheep in wolves clothing. BEWARE!! read more

The Girl at the counter scammed me into buying monthly package after telling her multiple times that I didn't want to do it she basically forced it on me and told me she was canceling it as she was standing in front of me so I wouldn't get charged the next month. Noticed a month or so later I was charged so I called customer service to find out it was never canceled. She told me over the phone that she would cancel and two days later I get charged again. Call to find out I didn't cancel in time to be charged for following month. That's not even the worst part! When I was went to Glo, for the first and only time ever, I was getting a spray tan and one of the nozzles fell off a sprayer and it completely soaked me with spray tan liquid. Tried to wipe off as much as I could looked horrible so she said go home and shower. I'll never step foot in this place again. If customer service would have stepped up and did something maybe things would be different but they basically just laughed at my story told me sorry about my luck and then turned around and charged me the next day. Apparently there is nothing customer service can do for customers. What a joke! I wish I could give you negative stars! Better business bureau I hope you are seeing this. read more
