Highly recommend this med spa. I came for Botox and Allie the NP was super knowledgeable!! I really liked that she was more conservative and didn't push any treatment she didn't think I needed. I'm 32 years old and she told me that sticking to Botox and microneedling (which I've done before) was enough. I inquired about morpheus8 and she said I could consider that later in my 40s and higher but not now. In terms of the Botox, her technique is great - she gave me a device to keep my mind off the injection and tapped on my skin to distract me. She has amazing bedside manner! The studio itself is also so clean and aesthetic and gives glass water bottles (so fancy!). One thing that I thought sets them apart from other places is that Allie was VERY detailed in any possible side effects I might have. For example she discussed injecting the upper corner of my brows to prevent that part rising if the rest of my forehead has tox in it (which is actually a side effect I noticed from another clinic where I developed a crease on the outer corner of my brows after getting Botox in forehead). Also when injecting my masseters with a lower dose (as I requested), she warned me about possible paradoxical compensation from another muscle group that could cause noticeable protrusion of muscle at far angle of jaw - and this is also something I saw happening at my prior Botox place. So overall I was very happy that she was very patient and talked through the procedure and all possible side effects which is not something that was told to me from other clinics. read more

I was a previous client for a year that had 3 sessions of PRF under eye, 3 Coolpeel sessions and Botox done here. I asked educated questions and received educated responses with my previous NP, Julie, for these treatments. Then, my previous NP left and I scheduled microneedling treatments with a different NP at Glo. Everything was very normal until the office manager/co-owner text me the day before my first MN appointment and she told me that based on the educated questions I had been asking in the chat for my new NP prior to my appointment they would be canceling my appointment and telling me to receive treatment elsewhere. Please note, the questions I asked were no different than something that ChatGPT would recommend any potential patient asking any given provider. There are red flags that are very concerning when evaluating practitioners-- one of which is not being able to ask questions. So in that regards I'm actually very grateful that they canceled my appointment and I went elsewhere for treatment. I just wanted to share my experience so that others are aware. ... In response to Glo -- yes, this amazing country of ours allows businesses the right to exercise subjective opinions and decisions. That is a very important freedom and right. If Glo felt that this concern of patient doubt was the case, it would have been a kind and respectful courtesy to ask the patient directly at the time of the questions if that was indeed the case and to see if there was anything that they could do to address those concerns that Glo felt were present. Also, advanced notice of a cancellation, at the time the questions had been asked in the months / weeks preceding the appointment instead of the evening before would have been much appreciated. read more

I absolutely love GLO Bar! I first started going here for facials with Samantha, and the Diamond GLO Deluxe facial is hands down one of my favorite facials I've ever had. It's so relaxing, and my skin always looks and feels amazing afterward. After such a great experience, I referred my mom to Allie for PRF ezGEL. My mom loved her so much that she's since gone back for Sculptra and Botox too. I have to admit, I had gotten Botox before, but I have horrible needle anxiety. I love the results, but I absolutely dread the appointments. I literally start sweating just walking through the door. I actually went two years without getting Botox because of it. I have been interested in facial balancing and the different treatments like botox & filler for years. I have dry skin with acne scars, and typical signs of aging and sun exposure. I found Julie on Instagram and was impressed by her videos and her own skin, I booked my appointment for a consultation. I am 37 so I felt a bit overdue but we started talking about my concerns and interests, she first recommended botox in a few areas, she was so gentle and careful, making sure that I was comfortable with the procedure. After the treatment, I noticed improvement immediately but even moreso after about a week, definitely noticeable when getting ready in the morning or throughout the day, I love that I was able to wear less makeup. Another treatment I was interested in was filler, esp lip/chin filler, I have thin small lips. Julie was so patient and took such care of the delicate area, never going overboard. When given suggestions, she never pushed me for any areas and was honest if I suggested a treatment that may not be suitable for my face. She also showed me areas that are small and subtle but could help me achieve what I was looking for. I was already so happy with my botox results but was even more satisfied with my filler results. My experience here has always been great, the office is clean and beautiful, easy parking, the staff is always so friendly, and I never have any issues with rescheduling.
