I've been in nicer laundromats -- there's a super nice on in Aurora --- and I've been in many worse ones (pretty much everywhere else). This one is okay. It seems well maintained and the machines are fairly clean. I like that there are giant washing machines, so if you have a ton of laundry to get through, you can pile it into one huge washer and save some time. There are some pretty big dryers as well. The place is brightly lit and while not spotless, it's mostly clean. My daughter and I were there during the evening, but she told me that she'd been there during the day and that the owner is normally on-site, overseeing everything. If you have to go to a laundromat, choose this one.

This laundromat, plus wash-and-fold did exceptional work from start to finish! They picked up my loads in a timely manner, and brought them back just as quickly. Everything was folded beautifully, but what pleased me the most was how my garments and other washables were separated according to category - like a bag for tops, a bag for pants, a bag for sheets etc., Sarah, Nicole and Gary are also very friendly and helpful. Zara was able to taper this in and they turned out great. Zara also took in and shortened a few different mens dress pants. Not just at the waist but all the way through. We went to her home and she had a private area for getting dressed and undressed. Zara is so lovely. Lots of experience. Reasonably priced. She patiently showed me how to use the coin-operated machines and even loaned me a mesh laundry bag big enough to fit my king-size comforter to keep it safe during the dry cycle. At only seven dollars for a 27-minute XL wash cycle and two dollars for a 25-minute Large dry cycle, the prices are incredibly affordable. I was delighted to be able to use my preferred detergent and Oxiclean for my very sensitive skin. As a young, petite female, I felt completely safe at Suds Laundry. Catherine was always available to provide assistance or advice, and the front and back doors were continuously left open. The laundromat is located in a nice area, and there are stores nearby to get snacks while you wait. Suds Laundry's clientele who visited were friendly and welcoming. Before my visit, I spoke with the owner over the phone, and he kindly explained everything and answered all of my questions. Suds Laundry is a family-owned business, and I highly recommend supporting them. My experience was excellent, and I would definitely use Suds Laundry again. One of the things that impressed me the most was Catherine's attention to detail. She even offered me a clean plastic bag to put my dried comforter in, free of charge, when I realized I forgot mine at home. At other laundromats, I've had to pay for every little thing, so I was pleasantly surprised. Clearly, the owner has trained his staff well in providing superior customer service. I do have a couple of suggestions to make Suds Laundry even better. It would be helpful to have a step ladder or step-stool for short people to pour detergent into the washer. There was one other person while I was there and said it had new owners and they had done some work. WIFI is free for customers so you can watch Netflix while you wait. I was VERY reluctant to trust another carpet and upholstery cleaning company after the crappy job…read morethat EcoSuds did on my furniture! I had one stain that I wanted removed on a large white 'chair and a half' so I decided to get that chair along my (matching) couch and Queen Anne chair cleaned with EcoSuds to support a small local business. Thank goodness I did NOT waste my money on getting them to do my downstairs/family room furniture and carpets done at the same time because it was a COMPLETE waste of money! They not only did NOT REMOVE THE STAIN, BUT ADDED STAINS to my large white chair!! Their method left dripping stains all down the bottom front panel of my chair and I had to fight to get them to come back out but it STILL looked as bad!! The owner, Shamus told me that the original stain was the 'best he could do' after trying to 'clean' it again, and supposedly cleaned the mess made by his wife and daughter ~ which came right back after it dried! It took me approximately two YEARS to be willing to trust anyone again but my friend had highly recommended ABERDEEN so I decided to give them a try regardless of cost. I was very pleasantly surprised that their prices were quite similar to EcoSuds so I took the leap of faith and had Corey come and do my nasty looking white chair and matching couch along with 3 bedrooms. Not only did Corey get out the stain that EcoSuds said that they couldn't, but cleaned the stains EcoSuds left behind on my front panel! Aberdeen explained to me that, the reason his job was so superior to all the other companies I had previously used was because his machinery was so superior.  Apparently the machine EcoSuds brought into my house is worth between $2,000-$3,000; whereas Aberdeen has a $50,000 piece of equipment that is actually in his vehicle and all the dirt and wet gets sucked right out to that machine in the truck! Obviously it is a very superior method
