Dr. Dunlap is the best. I suffered from plantar faciatis for months. Never could get any relief until I saw Dr Dunlap.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with this office. I went in for a callus and…read morecorn removal, the procedure itself was quick and fairly easy. The doctor put a bandaid on it and said there was blood bc of a sweat gland. I was in a bit of pain still after leaving, but thought nothing of it bc of the cut. The next day I still had pain which led me to believe the callus had not been fully removed. After contacting the office, I was told to wait until the bleeding healed to verify where the pain was coming from. I patiently waited and then scheduled a follow-up appointment to address the continued pain, after three days. The earliest appointment that worked for me that they had available was approximately 7 days later (there was a weekend in those days). When I arrived, however, I was told I would have to pay either my copay or another $50 callus removal fee before the doctor would even look at me to correct the issue. This is when I learned that corns apparently can't be removed, only calluses can be shaved off (apparently I needed to read the fine print before signing and would have known that). This was incredibly frustrating as the first time I had a callus/corn taken care of (from a foot doctor in Florida) I had no issue, no pain and confidence that I wouldnt have to worry about the problem for another good longtime (5 years to be exact). Again I am flabbergasted by the staffs dismissive behavior and the nurses down right rude and disgruntled attitude. They made it clear that I would not be seen unless I paid the additional fees, along with an overdue fee that until that day I had never seen or been aware of. An overdue fee that was 3 years old! A overdue fee that had never been communicated to me before that day (not even at my appointment 7 days earlier)--no overdue notices, no phone calls, nothing! This lack of transparency and poor communication is unacceptable. Clearly I am not a subject matter expert on feet, and am an average joe when it comes to "reading the fine print," but I truly do not believe I deserved to be treated the way I was! I would not recommend this office to anyone.

HELLO YELP - UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY - SO , Today , I got another phone call , even though I blocked…read moretheir # from the Officer Manager Victoria , telling me that she heard about my calling the Dr yesterday & that they were "waiving" their $50 Appointment Cancellation Fee. she said I could call back if I wanted. OH YEAH , NOT ONLY DO I WANT TO - I NOW HAVE TO BECAUSE OF THE WORDS YOU LEFT IN A VOICEMAIL. I called Victoria , I INFORMED Her , That She Incorrectly Spoke on a Voicemail to me !!!!! I was NEVER their , Patient. I notified them within a few hrs of making a next day appointment THAT I wasn't going to keep that appointment. I changed my mind. So , They have NOW , ILLEGALLY , TRIED TO "SHAKE ME DOWN" & Tell Me That I Have A $50 Balance on my Account. I Loudly Instructed her , that she has NOW , Harrassed ***** warning to all !!!! ***** don't use this doctor !!!!!! here's why -- I'm in my late 50s. i worked in law enforcement from age 23 to 54. i will always be in off duty law enforcement mode. always aware & looking out for the potential evil offender trying to take advantage of a potential innocent victim. there are all sorts of laws : criminal , traffic , business & consumer laws to name a few. in my 4th year of my career i was in training & i dealt with an evil greedy store owner trying to take advantage of us meer trainees dealing with our consumer rights. i informed the store owner he was very wrong in his policies since he wasn't following the proper consumer laws. he reported me to my superiors. they researched it. i was right. they backed me up. told him he was wrong & he was corrected & us meer trainees were saved from his greedy evil ways. i mention this to reveal that i know my business & consumer laws. so when i was looking for a podiatrist. i came across triangle foot & ankle specialist/dr thomas. i read a few negative reviews (friendly advice : read reviews on everything you do !!!! it will save you from making major mistakes in your life !!!!!). so , i still called & checked about their availability. we made an appointment for the next morning. so , they send me an email with their office policies. over the phone , she told about they usually required 24 hr notice to cancel an appointment & avoid an enormous ridiciulious $50 charge. she said we didn't have to worry about that because she could tell i wanted the appointment. so , i'm reading the email they sent me & i see they want to charge a ridiculous greedy $25 charge for any patient's records (that our copays & insurance payments should cover) & if you want your records faxed that's another $25 greedy , should be criminal charge !!!! not to mention the absurd $50 appointment cancellation charge if it isn't within 24hrs. but , if they have to change an appointment with the patient - the patient can't charge the dr or office $50. and if the office or dr makes you wait for more than 15 min or longer , you can't charge them anything. yet some places will cancel your appointment & charge you a fee if your more than 15 min late & make you reschedule. we have to just accept their ways. sorry , not right !!!! so , i called back at 4:15pm. no one answers the phone after 4pm , ok whatever. i left a message that i was not coming in the next day. that i didn't want the appointment. i figured that was enough notification since it wasn't an emergency and i never signed anything acknowledging or accepting their stupid $50 charge for cancelling an appointment in less than 24 hrs. unreasonable , since stuff happens in life & a dr's office shouldn't be trying to penalize a patient because they are greedy !!!! so , the next morning a young woman called me to tell me i missed my appointment. i became aggravated & told her that even though i read some bad reviews about the office & dr thomas , i thought i would still try them because i was in pain. i also told her i totally disagreed with their ridiculous fees !!!! i never signed any paperwork accepting their fees !!!! so , get lost you greedy bastards , trying to charge me $50 when there was no way i was accepting their evil greedy fees !!!!! and the only reason i decided to post this is because i got a idiot greedy text today telling me i owe them $50. don't think so !!!!! learn your consumer laws before you even try to charge someone !!!!!!!!! after this post i'm going to notify the better business bureau of north carolina. so i was soooo annoyed i called the office at 5:03. i didn't expect anyone to answer. after hearing my options , i decided to page the dr , to give me a piece of my mind. he called me , i asked who was in charge of his office. he got irritated. so i unleashed my rage verbally on him & he said it was an unprofessional conversation. he's damn right it's not professional to try to price gouge patients who may be struggling to make ends meet !!!!!!! i'm sharing this because sharing is caring !!!!! i hope this info saves any innocent potential victims from this evil greedy office dr.

Ingrown toenail procedure was painful and rushed. I had serious reservations that the procedure did…read morenot fully remove the four roots and that the application of the chemical was not going to be effective. 2 months following procedure on 2 ingrown toenails (2 sides each) all 4 sides grew back (all four procedures failed). Doctor refused to talk to me unless I paid him $47 (after I drove 1.25 hours to this appointment). If any additional procedure would be required, he took absolutely no responsibility for all 4 sides failing, and wanted to collect another $400+ This was not a "recurrence". This was a failure of his work, and he knows this. He didn't have time to talk to me but he had no problem spending my previous office visit gossiping about another podiatrist in the area. Very unprofessional. Has no concern for his patient but has great concern for extracting more money following his failures.

In June of 2019, I fell and broke my ankle. I was treated by Dr. Michael Price, DPM. He was very…read moreempathetic and explained what the treatment plan would be. (It was displaced and because I had been sick at home with a virus for 3 days following my fall, my treatment was delayed until I got well.) Dr. Price explained what the break looked like and exactly what it would take to mend it. He took time to answer my questions about whatmy recovery would look like. I was scheduled for surgery a couple of days later. Dr. Price is a master surgeon! He ended up putting 9 screws and a relatively large plate in my ankle. I healed well and had very little - if any pain or discomfort - throughout my recovery. Every time I went for a follow-up appointment, Dr. Price treated me as if I was his only patient. He listened to my concerns and offered suggestions to keep the heeling process on schedule but allowed me to do some things I needed/wanted to do. I even went to a UNC football game after learning from Dr. Price about special accommodations for fans with mobility issues! Dr. Price also worked cooperatively with my PT to ensure healing and strength in my ankle. I had been to Dr. Todd Hyatt, also at Triad Foot and Ankle Center, for 2 previous surgeries and a broken foot several years ago. That was why I went to Triad Foot and Ankle. Dr. Hyatt referred my case to Dr. Price because he was going to be out of the office and he believed what I required was Dr.Price's specialty. He was right! My ankle was in great hands with Dr. Michael Price at Triad Foot and Ankle. I highly recommend Dr.Michael Price! Debbie P. Hill, Ed.D.

I came to this office for a second opinion, and I sure am glad I did! Rachel was at the reception…read moredesk and greeted me instantly with a great big and sincere smile! Lovely to chat with her while we did all of the necessary check-in things. I sat only briefly in the lovely waiting room (the whole building/office is gorgeous!) and then Kathy called me back to the exam room. Another super nice and cheerful individual. I was thanked multiple times for coming and everything was explained to me along the way. Dr. Stover also was very nice and professional. She answered all of my questions, including a few that didn't pertain to the reason for the visit, and never made me feel I was a bother (like the first opinion I received in another office). I felt like she had all the time in the world for me. I absolutely would recommend this office to anyone!
