Given that they have such a small staff, it's understandable (Dr. Bunao is the only one who can prescribe medicine there). The big advantage with this practice is that you can get an appointment some times the same day! The staff is very friendly and Dr. Bunao is competent and spends as much time with you as he can even while juggling multiple patients. My father was a pediatrician so I know something about altruistic doctors. This is one of them. He is a great asset to Sanford and you'd be foolish to roam elsewhere. I use to live in Sanford and I still drive from Durham to see him. Take your oxygen and methane powered scooter and head on over to Carthage Street!

They ask if I have insurance. I tell them yes but I have to pay them submit my bills to my insurance. The lady takes my insurance card and ID. I tell her about my address stuff. She says they call my insurance and my insurance says that they are not a provider so they can't bill it to them. They tell me this and say that it looks like insurance fraud. The exact words, insurance fraud, I tell them I bill it. They then tell me it would be $304.00, just to be seen. I tell them forget it. Who is trying to fraud who now? I went 1 mile down the road to another place and was seen for $145.00, they gave me my diagnosis and bill. I paid them myself and was treated well. I would never go back to PineRidge Urgent Care. Just to be treated that way was high way robbery. I paid less than half of what they wanted. Poor management. When I am pulling into the other urgent care that day, Pine Ridge calls me and says so "what is going on?", I told her I left because of what I was told, did the front desk not tell you? She says no they didn't. Don't think they know what they are doing. They are dealing with people's health. Not a broken lawn mower. Sad. Would give no stars, but not an option. But that is what I would give.
