She goes "no its only 1 sauce per pound" so I said "oh i know but cant i add another for 2 bucks like it says here?" And she goes "no we dont do that." It was tender, flavorful, juicy. My guest had intimated just how fond he was of prime rib, and he, too, had high praise for the meal. The Boot and Blade is one of those restaurants that has a very rustic feel to it, but behind that are genuine chefs, cooking, real food, and sourcing, local whenever they can. I think it shows!

I despise parm cheese. Usually with pasta, you are asked if you want some. This came with it already on top so I scraped it off as best I could. The sauce was okay. The pasta was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overcooked to the point of being mushy ... not enjoyable at all. The sausage was good and garlic bread was okay. Needless to say, I didn't eat it all. Tim, the server, was very attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. I didn't have the heart to complain to him. I should have ordered in pizza.

They were supposed to close that weekend for the season, so not so hopeful that they were stocked with all the Kwaratha Dairy flavours but surprisingly many choices still available, however only one dairy free (fine by me, I got to taste one) Almost all the 10 of us took one scoop and the quantity was generous. The individual who served us amazing. He was jovial and kept the entire group laughing at all times. The KD ice cream you can get just about anywhere in Muskoka region, but the service was amazing. My Orange flavoured dairy free Sorbet was good. Would have it again on a cold autumn or a hot summer day any time.
