Frank is the complete opposite--he is superbly polite, professional, and is obviously working to get you the best possible apartment even at a sacrifice to himself. My roommates and I started our search for a three-bedroom in the lower east side about two months before our desired move in date, which was either the first of May or June. In my experience, NYC apartments are taken in a matter of days, so it was kind of weird that we reached out to Frank for an apartment for two months in the future. But, he made it work. I'm sure he was busy with more urgent clients that needed apartments by the end of the month, but he always took time to keep us updated and inform us of new leads. We fell in love with our "dream" building, but ended up getting out-bid by another party for the only available apartment. So, while it was unlikely that we would get an apartment in that building, Frank really pushed for us in that he managed the building owner and co-brokered with another company to help us get it. Finally, we got the call that we got the apartment for a July move in. With the knowledge that the move in date wasn't ideal for us, Frank helped us negotiate with the owner and co-brokering company to lower the broker's fee (on top of only having to pay a one month security deposit). Overall, he's just a great guy with an admirable work ethic, so we really hope people will take advantage of what he has to offer so that his business does well.
