It is by appointment only entry so make sure to book your slot online beforehand! We came in right at 9am on a Monday and it was pretty empty for the first 45mins but quickly filled up. It has a spacious sitting area overlooking the play space for snacks and parents to sit in while watching their kids safely. Overall, a great spot for kids and parents and we definitely will be back!

Play-X-Scape was the perfect celebration location for my favorite three-year-old this year. The birthday party was a big hit with the adults and children. The ages in attendance were 10-months-old to 84-years-old. Hands down the best feature of this venue is that when you book your party you have the entire run of the place for you and your guests. This was the best! They have lockers in the lobby for everyone to remove their shoes to keep the floor clean that children may be crawling or playing on. Grip socks are required to be worn and are also available for purchase. There are various play areas and activities for the children. There is a large playscape in the center of the room complete with a slide. Play areas include a kitchen, store, diner, animal hospital, puppetry, coloring, legos, blocks, yard size connect four, climbing walls, swings and basketball hoop. Some children did not want to leave!!! Play-X-Scape also has a birthday party room for eating pizza, snacks and cupcakes. Our party was setup for 10 children. It was completely decorated with an animal theme of Young, Wild and Three as part of the booking. The pizza was provided by YaYa's Pizza next door. Ironically we had more adults than children at the party. There are four tables with chairs for adults to sit plus a bench inside of the door. I wish we had brought some games for the adults to play during the 3-hr party. This venue also has open play hours for a place to take your children to explore for $12. Different levels of party packages are also available.

I personally like to play laser tag with the kids from time to time, and maybe play a videogame or so. The kids love to get the slushies, especially the large ones in the plastic robot. This is also a great place for parties. Although we have not taken part in their activity nights, they will do events, like a New Years party, etc... where participants have a pre-paid charge and can play as much as they like. This is a great place, certainly underrated, and must do if you like rides, tag, golf, junk food, and games.

He was hooked on the claw machine with rubber ducks and made me play it over and over to win ducks. I successfully won 6 before we used all the credits. He wanted a purple and brown one and had a meltdown that I couldn't get them for him. The lady at the counter went in the back and got him 1 of each for free and saved the day. Then I went to grab a fountain soda and water. They gave them to me no charge. My son dropped the water immediately and it spilled everywhere. They instantly started preparing another and called for a mop. They were very kind and generous and it really made my night easier. Great people!

There was only one working kiosk (out of two) to sign the waiver. For 2 hours, it cost a little over $50. There were a few things in the park that wasn't working or open but I did appreciate that there were plenty of seating for adults to sit at and watch their kiddos. We got a couple things at the snack bar. I got a cup of water and didn't realize I got charged almost 5 bucks. The food we ordered also took over 30 minutes (we only got one thing). Overall, we agreed it was nice to try some place different, but there were more cons for us.

The first visit was great, but on the second visit we were met with no air conditioning and the kids were playing (and I was sitting) in 90 degrees with the fans just blowing around hot air. The next two times we went the place was still closed due to broken air conditioners. I'm not suggesting a refund but perhaps extend the summer passes for a week or two to make up for the lost time? After all, we paid but still can't play. I hope someone responds to this.

The manger stated it was kinda busy and to come back around 8pm when they closed. We came back at 8pm and she stayed around to help us out til about 9pm. Kudos to faith ( I believe that was her name) We the show up the next morning at 8:15am as we were told we could to finish setting up cause they opened for the private party at 9am. We show up along with vendors and the manager told us we could not come in til 9am. She was very rude and not pleasant to have communication with. She did end up letting us in around 830 but the air was so thick with tension it was so uncomfortable for all of us setting up. It is not like it was a bunch of kids that were there. It was the birthday girl who was minding her own cause we knew they weren't open. She then asked if he could go play and we informed we don't want her to get yelled at so she would have to wait. The party was a success but it started out on the wrong foot and did not leave a good taste in the mouth. If you need a place to have a private party I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

Bring socks! If you forget, you can buy them from T&B. You sign up and then sign a waiver. One child and one adult for a single pass is $15.00 an additional adult is $5.00. They stamped my daughter's hand and gave us wrists bands. I'd prefer they give her a wrist band and write one of our numbers on the band. 2 hours max of play time. But they did not seem to really police this. Lots of different areas to plays even if different ages of kids. The slides were a hit but one of the slides doesn't slope as you land so watch your tailbone. Fun dress up area and grocery store with pretend food to play with. Two things were broke. A carousel and then a ball launcher. Snacks and food are available. A birthday party was going on and the room was pretty small. Place seemed pretty clean. Staff weren't overly friendly. They stood behind the counter mostly. No staff were in the play area to monitor. One little boy got lost/couldn't find his parent, a patron helped him find his dad. Would come again for sure!

They also tore down the family slide over the winter. That was our favorite ride! Loved it! It was getting too old and too expensive to maintain. On the bright side. I like the tropical palm tree theming of the wave pool. They had plenty of tubes and we had a blast splashing around. The dump bucket area is still there, and the kids get a thrill counting down to the next dump of water. Today they had a zip line, and it was not extra. It was included in the price of entry. During the week it is $8 for all which is a great deal. During the weekend they offer a discount to Oakland county residents. The zip line was amazing fun, perfect for small kids through adults. The food looks and smells enticing like an amusement park. The pricing is very good. You can also bring in your own food, but no glass or alcohol. People often bring in fast food, or food to bbq. They have grills. I come here at least once a summer. I hope they will be able to build a new attraction. The slide was a great loss. They also seem to be having staffing issues. During the month of June they were only opened until 3:00. They seemed to have resolved that issue. We look forward to coming back.
