We took our grandkids to Glenlore this week (ages three and five) and they loved it! I hear they're still talking about it. Lights were fun to see and the crowd was spread out nicely so that the kids got a chance to use their wands along the way and watch what happened. Speaking of wands...the cost of the wands was high but without them, the kids would have lost interest early. They loved using them, but they were expensive for a one-time-use and there's nothing to do with them afterward. They should consider renting them like you would do clubs, at a mini-golf course. Another little glitch was the restroom situation; or lack of. Our three year old needed to go potty as soon as we got there and the only places available were about five pitch black, cold Port-O-Johns. I think for the cost of the event and the ease of taking little ones, they could at least have those heated trailer-johns at the entrance/exit. Along the way, the outhouses were at least lit, but it was cold and very hard to help a little one out of snow pants and about four other layers in the cold and dark at the entrance. Overall, we had a great night with the kids and I'd recommend this if you can afford it. read more

AWESOME Halloween experience! A little pricy, but worth it. A nice alternative to a scary Halloween event. read more

This was such a cute experience and great way to spend and evening with friends! We had an 8:30 time slot which was perfect because it was not crowded and there were less kids. I wanted to play with the lights too! An easy walk through the woods with interactive lights and displays with plenty of spots to capture the moment. You can grab a beverage before you enter and they also have one about half way through. I think it might be priced a little high at $25 a person but it was cute. Can't say I'll make the drive and do it again but it was definitely a nice evening. read more

kind of expensive for a lot of cheap tricks. No detail. Just large lights stuck in the ground/projectors/spot lights. There are neighborhoods who diy their own decorations more impressive than this. At least tickets are time slotted to keep it from getting too too crowded. But groups of people still tend to linger at one attraction for a bit too long. read more

Beware. If you buy a 9:30 ticket be prepared to be rushed. My family and I were walking the trail, we like to take pictures look at all the attractions, have hot chocolate and hang around. Nope not on their watch. I felt like there was a real life stalker behind me. I kept turning around and the worker was following us. He was hiding in the trees coming closer and closer it felt like a scary movie. They were turning off all the lights behind us. I go to the end attraction where you throw the plastic balls and the lady says "is anyone behind you" terrible experience especially when we paid alot of money. We felt rushed that night. Not to mention we came to see the witch attraction with the potions. "Not working" just a worker standing there explaining what it does. Don't think I will be back. read more

Glenlore Trails - Amusement Parks Near Me - Commerce Township, Michigan

Very disappointed- expected so much more especially for 25$ per person. Drinks very over priced 13$ for small solo cup and 4$ for an 8 oz hot chocolate that watered down and tasted disgusting. Glad I had great company to make it all better but never again. read more

Attended FATE for their Halloween lighted walk. They had bathrooms and food and drink stands during the walk and in the beginning - this was a wonderful surprise. The lights sounds and interactions were great! Highly recommended. read more

Seriously amazing! Such a great concept! The employees were excited that you were there and so friendly. The walk is super long and worth every penny! They have all year round and it goes with the holidays. Family friendly. This place is a must if you have kids! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! So disappointed, you can see more light's driving around any neighborhood. Have no idea how it get 4.4 stars! It is not at all worth the price they charge. We paid $180 for a family of 7! Insane! Will not be going back and wish we could get a refund!!!! read more

Amazing. This is an excellent winter/holiday light display for everyone. Go see for yourself-- you will not be disappointed. read more

My family and I attended your trails Saturday, last night and thought it was really nice. The lights and displays were fun, however half way through on the gravel road there was a large rock stuck into the road and my boot caught the rock and I tripped!! The people at the concession trailer were accommodating to me as I was was in severe pain. They gave me a can of pop to help with the swelling wher ice wasn't available. That I appreciated! Since it was very dark in that area, it would be helpful to have more " path lighting". read more

The trails are amazing.... but the Glenlore website says one price but when you go to purchase the tickets you have to go to a website called Fever and they inflate the prices and then charge a ridiculous fee of over 10% of the purchase price. I recommend finding a different light show to attend, it's definitely not worth the price. read more

we went to the Enchanted trails tonight. I was expecting it to be like past years with the holographic images floating in the air and the ghosts and skeletons floating out of the woods but it was nothing like that. If you have kids it's great. Lots of stuff for them to do but if you're looking for the special effects of years past, you'll be disappointed. They had lots of lights and plastic skeletons everywhere. A werewolf like you get at home depot. but none of the beautiful things they had before. I was so disappointed in the whole thing. The only part I enjoyed was the bubbles. But like I said, if you're going for the kids its great. Lots for them to do but don't expect anything close to adult there because it's all very cartoony. read more

This was SO MUCH FUN!!! Very family friendly with just a purple spots that are creepy enough to make adults jump too. The lights were absolutely beautiful and the bubble machines were a huge hit! I happened to end up going on Pridefest night by complete chance and they had a couple spots where drag queens were performing. This made the night even more awesome in my opinion! I would say the ticket price is definitely worth it! read more

It is very fun to go with a group of people to celebrate the different holiday trails they put together.

Glenlore Trails was a magical experience! The trail was well maintained and easy to traverse. The hard work that went into the lighting and sounds is phenomenal. We absolutely loved the experience and highly recommend taking the trip out. read more

A super fun and cute activity to do with anyone of any age but you have to be willing to appeal to your inner kid and look and interact with each activity! It took my partner and myself about an hour to walk through the trail and it was absolutely beautiful. Since you can just enter upon your arrival it's great because there's not a ton of foot traffic since everyone is going their own pace. A ton of lights of all different kinds and they have sound along with all the different sections. It's a magical experience I think everyone should go to read more

Fun but a bit expensive for a family. Tickets were roughly 25-30 a person but a good family time.

So my boyfriend actually heard about this place from a friend, so we decided to check this out! Even though it was super cold, it was definitely worth it!! You have to purchase tickets online, and since they are only open Thursday- Sunday, tickets sell out quick!! It is a mile long trail with all kinds of cool christmas lights. Even going on a Sunday night, it was actually pretty busy. When you first enter the trail, there is a tent where you can purchase snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and even merchandise. At the entrance, there is a big sign that says aurora lights where you can have one of the employees take your picture. There are outdoor heaters along the trail, which was definitely needed on the night we went because it was only 10 degrees!! It actually looked so much prettier with snow because it snowed the night before we went, so it was perfect! This is definitely a great date night idea! It's very romantic walking through the trail, admiring the lights, and just enjoying each other's company. This is a family-friendly place, so it's also great for not only couples but for kids as well! This only lasts through January, so if you are looking for a great date night idea or family fun night, check this place out! We will definitely be back next year!! Be sure to bring your phone because just like us, I'm sure you will want to take a lot of pics :) read more

If I could give this a 0/5 star review I would in a heartbeat. The past few years after hearing about it from family and friends we finally got tickets for 12/9/23. We were so excited to experience something of high quality and talk from others. Unfortunately, ours was not pleasant of a visit. We had time slots for 615, got checked in, and got to the first "interactive show globe" and everything went out. Every single bulb of power went away. We stood there for 25 minutes until security came to escort everyone out for "safety measures." Before they escorted us out, they were messing with the breakers to try to get the power to come back on. It would come on for a second and then turn off again until it wouldn't. After we exited, multiple teams members told us that we can contact customer service for a refund. Another guy - completely horrible at his job told us that the IT department is coming to check things out in an hour. First, who's to say that the IT guy can get it fixed? Secondly, the team member told us to reschedule, a lady next to me said that every single night is sold out, his attitude was beyond me. Told us that it was our job to figure that out and that's not on him. He was useless at his job because he told us rats were biting through the wires... sure lol. Leaving the parking lot we stopped a family to let them know of the situation and the mother had said that they came the Thursday before, was told to leave because it was rained out, contacted customer service and still never received a refund. For $106 tickets for what's supposed to be a fun and immersive night - it was disappointing. From the attitude of the workers to just standing in pitch black darkness for 25 minutes. The houses leaving the trail and getting on the highway were beautiful and better than what you will pay for this "amazing" experience. read more

My family has been going to the lighted forest Halloween walk for the past several years. It's an amazing little journey through the woods. There are many displays and interactive spots for the kids. The amount of work that goes into this is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend. read more

Fun! Lots of colored lights & moving props. Plenty of action & sounds effects throughout the walk. But the beer line half way thru was way too long of a wait. Finished the walk thirsty. Our group was a little bummed. Should really have another beer station or more servers. read more

So much fun. Just really cool interactive art installations. Whether you visit in the summer or for the Halloween or Christmas version, your mind will be blown! read more

Very interesting trail, good for being active at night. Anyone can go and enjoy but was targeted towards kids mostly.

We took our kids and their grandparents, and everyone had a great time. The kids loves the interactive experiences and the bubbles!

Was a fun trip for the kids. We'll designed and a great summer time activity. Happened to be a full-moon which added to the experience. Although it's a gravel trail and website says wheelchair accessible, I wouldn't recommend a wheelchair that doesn't have off-road or wide wheels. It will get stuck. read more

Amazing find, def worth a visit if you're looking for a nice evening walk after dinner.

Awesome experience for all ages. Different from your typical holiday or light attraction! Staff was very friendly! Trail was longer then expected which was amazing! Loved how interactive everything was. Can't wait to see what they will come up with next year read more

Awesome date night idea or even family night peaceful walk and getting to see the beautiful lights! Me and my girlfriend had a ball they even serve drinks and snacks only thing I would say is work on the drinks they were watery but still a 10/10 read more

Do not waste your time!!! I Have never been more disappointed. The only lights to see were the lights to led you through the trail. I was very disappointed and will never recommend the Glenlore Trails to my worst enemy. read more

We had a blast!! Even though we were wet and muddy from all the rain, it was worth it. Great job!

Overall wasn't that great, the "over an hour long" walk goes by pretty fast. Realistically about 25-30 minutes. The lights are nice but most of the trail just felt like it had guiding lights and not much attraction. The biggest downside was they were out of hot chocolate. Probably a lot cooler for younger ones but not really worth the date night. read more

Have been to both the "Haunted Forest" and "Aurora" experiences and have to say it is well worth the drive, the cost and any kind of incremental weather! Glenlore Trails will absolutely be a new tradition for my family. It's such a cool, unique, strange, otherworldly, beautiful experience! Taking about an hour to get through from beginning to end, It's neither too long or too short and there's so much to take in, it keeps everyone engaged and entertained the entire time. There's a few interactive "stop offs" for the kids, which mine absolutely loved. Really, really cool event and a great alternative kind of way to take in the vibe of the seasons. I believe they have a summer-themed experience as well, which we will definitely be hitting up in '22! read more

Awesome sensory experience, the a/v effects were very cool, unique, and well done! I highly recommend! Fun for all ages. More merry, not scary! read more

This was way better than I expected. Really creative use of lights and sound to tell the story. Videos of the missing archeologists particularly entertaining. Good for families, special things for kids to do. I'm looking forward to the fall display. (Mostly because, being family friendly, I'm assuming there will be no insane clowns with chainsaws jumping out of the woods at me.) read more

Wonderful experience!!! We'll done!!! Our grandchildren loved it! We'll organized. A lovely walk through the forest . The music set the ambiance. Special effects were great too. read more

Way overpriced. Definitely could of been done better. Was quite confused with all the interactive attempts with the fish.
