Graduation season is upon us. The florists were incredibly helpful. They made ordering a graduation lei, easy. The cost was competitive with markets. I think the quality was outstanding. I'm extremely disappointed! Please save your money and don't come here! My mom and I placed an order for my grandmother, who is currently in the hospital. We specifically requested a dozen red roses with simple greenery in a short vase. What we received looked nothing like what we clearly asked for. The arrangement was sparse, poorly designed, and absolutely did not meet the expectations of a $100 bouquet. Given the circumstances and the price, this was incredibly upsetting. When I called to address the issue, the owner told me to talk to the manager and refused to take responsibility. She seems far more preoccupied with other things than actually running her business. Based on both the product and the customer service, I would not recommend this florist. You are better off going to Trader Joe's and doing it yourself. read more

If you're in old town Glendora Village, walk to the end of the village, on the corner, across the street from a church, you'll find a very cute flower shop with a je ne sais quoi flair. This place looks beautiful with organic touches. I ordered a corsage and boutonnière. I came with my son's girlfriend's mom to choose out the color of ribbon and flowers. We asked for white roses some Amaranthus Draping Green. The sales lady showed us a picture of one with the greens and the brown elements. Very beautiful and organic. I understand that the actual item would not match the picture perfectly; however, it looked nothing like it. The ribbon on the corsage was only at the bottom of the flower resembling a bigger boutonnière. No other ribbons in site. She was trying to convince me that they don't usually have them. The only other items were some greens (thank goodness, not ferns) and pink wax flowers. The 1 rose also looks dead. Healthier roses have a semi firm to firm bud. I had to make them redo it with the ribbons and adding the Amaranthus Draping Green. Photos are attached, but the before was without the draping greens and looping ribbon on the courage. While I was there for 10 minutes, 2 people had complaints that their orders were wrong. When I came back to pick it up the correct ed order, there was another person upset about their order and it was not what was requested. They may have corrected my order but I can't imagine if they couldn't the day of the event. They also close at 3. This was homecoming day and there were 5 people waiting for their flowers My order was ordered 4 day before. This is the main florist in our city. Very, very disappointed! read more

The telephone order went really well. I ordered my son's graduation lie in advance It was easy.

Where to start. I ordered two bunches over the phone. They took my payment sent me a receipt. All good. A few hours later they call saying I owe more because they gave me the old price. It was irritating, never experienced this ever in my life but I went ahead and paid the extra in person with cash since I work a block away. They said great well email you a receipt. Didn't expect that to be true and I was right. No proof I paid the extra money. My experience thus far left me feeling uneasy. Which was a bummer because I've heard amazing things about this place. Sure enough the day of graduation I arrive to pick up my two bunches of anemones and they didn't have my full order. They refunded me half of my original payment (minus the extra I paid in cash that I now have no proof of). I get home 5 minutes later to put them in water BUT I learn that most of the flowers were either dead, wilted, browned/tarnished petals, or dying. Only two were alive and well. How could a flower shop even consider giving me the flowers they did? Shameful. I would never. I plan many events and am involved in several organizations around town and I really wanted this shop to be my go to shop but not after this. Incredibly disappointing experience. This beautiful arrangement was delivered to me on a Saturday. Truly, it was amazing. But on Sunday, the flowers began to wilt and become translucent. Even the greenery, which is usually the last to give up the ghost, actually wilted before the hydrangeas! I continued to check the water level in the glass vase, which made it easy to see that it was fresh and filled. I am simply amazed and totally disheartened of the poor poor quality of the flowers and foliage of Glendora Florist. I have always gone to Grand Florist and have been very happy and more than not, very impressed with their creations (others might say "arrangements"). Now it is time for me to spread the word, because certainly this arrangement by Glendora Florist was quite expensive. For me to dump it in the trash in 4 days? What a waste! After posting my 1-star review, Dalel, from Glendora Florist, left a note on Yelp. She thanked me for bringing it to her attention that the flowers in my arrangement died by the 4th day. She said that 100% customer satisfaction was important to them and left a number to call so that I could talk to her about when I would like to have a free arrangement delivered. I was impressed until I heard a knock on my door and had an arrangement thrust into my hands. Well, I thought, not quite an agreed upon date, but the price was right and the meaning behind the delivery was to be admired. The arrangement was beautiful. It was delivered on a Tuesday, and we had no plans to have friends come over until the weekend. Surely it would last... Nope. The very next day 1/4 of the arrangement had wilted...completely! I've gone to Glendora Florist for over10 years now and they have been great for years, a bit overpriced, but they have had good service and the arrangements were very nice. Much like a few of the reviews recently left, quality here has gone down recently and price has gone up. I spend hundreds of dollars on Mothers day arrangements recently. They were delivered late the day of and they were hot to the touch and were clearly not kept cool. They wilted by the end of the day. I'm most disappointed by the lack of value now. I used to get a decent arrangement a couple years ago for under 100 bucks. What I get now is sparse roses and cheap garbage filler. I tried another place in town since and they are much better, longer lasting flowers, personal delivery and cheaper prices.. I hope this place turns it around as I like to see local businesses thrive. But I was very disappointed. read more

Despite a late arrival due to a hospital emergency, JC kindly rescheduled the class for the following day. Disappointingly, when my wife called to confirm today, Dalel conveyed the cancellation with a lack of kindness and refused a refund. We were wondering why there was no communication about the cancellation. Even when she arrived today to pick up the supplies, Dalel again was still giving my wife an attitude. Despite this setback, JC, unaware of the cancellation, displayed true customer service and Christmas spirit by offering a quick class. He was understanding and didn't want my wife to feel upset about the situation. Our experience at Glendora Florist was a mix of unmet expectations with Dalel and exceptional service with JC. We hope this feedback helps in fostering improvement and maintaining the community's support. My order for this Tuscany wrapped bouquet was delivered on door dash and I'm amazed at how beautiful the bouquet is. I called before to make sure they had sunflowers in stock and the sweet woman explained that they used flowers that are in season at the moment but she checked if they had sunflowers in stock and they did. WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Never again. I just don't trust this place as their website misrepresents what you're ordering. After reading some of the more recent reviews on here, I see that am not the only one who was duped by them. I went to their website to view the arrangements they have available for you to select from. I ordered "The Cathleen" for my sister's birthday and what was sent was something totally different. I understand that substitutions need to be made from time to time and of certain flowers, but the ENTIRE arrangement? The arrangement was nice, but not at all what I wanted or ordered; it also started wilting in a few days to the point that my sister had to toss out some of the flowers bc they died. I felt super scammed. I emailed the florist to voice my disappointment and to show them the comparison of what I received vs. what I thought I was buying and also before I posted anything negative on any platform. Their explanation was nothing more than they have to make substitutions from time to time and that the arrangement I ordered was a mother's day arrangement. Um, ok, if the latter is true, why the heck are you still trying to sell it on your website in August?? They offered to replace it but only if I or the recipient brought back what was delivered by the end of the week. Again, no. First, I am not local and second, there was no way I was going to call my sister and burden her with bringing the wilting bouquet back to their store. Just tacky and rude! Other smaller complaints I had: I never recieved any confirmation email from them that my order had been received (sure, maybe it was a glitch), and I had to call on delivery day ar 4:00 to find out if they were being delivered. I was assured they were, and they were. When they were delivered, I, along with my sister, received a massive group text informing us that the arrangement was delivered. While I appreciated the confirmation text, it would've been nice to not have my or my sister's number disseminated in a group text with 4 other unknown people. I was hoping Glendora Florist was my new go-to florist in this area, but that won't be the case. read more

I can't say enough great things about Glendora Florist. We have used them 4 times now and they just do not disappoint! We needed a couple of arrangements to be delivered early one morning and they made it happen. More recently I sent an arrangement and I called to ask about the size. Dalel not only helped me but went above and beyond by walking me through the alternative flowers that could be used. And then delivery day came. I received photos of the arrangement before it was delivered and my mouth dropped. Stunning! Our friends were blown away when they received and we also received texts regarding the contactless delivery and notification when arrangement was at door. Amazing service all around. I've always loved their arrangements. But lately, the owner wants to over price an arrangement 3x more because of "covid" seems a bit of a stretch. They designed my wedding and what I asked for was not what I got for around $2,500. Were the florals still pretty? Yes of course, but don't say yes to a design through picture if you won't replicate it. Their excuse is "if it's not listed in your contract, we don't do it". Although I verbally asked them to add my grandmothers rosary to the bouquet. And 4 days before my wedding I bring it down, and I hand it over and they know who I am, and on the day I don't see the rosary they apologized and "take full responsibility" but it wasn't listed on the contract.. uhm, I DONT HAVE ACCESS TO EDIT YOUR CONTRACT. My job is to tell you verbally and you write it in. Not sure how it's my fault? The flowers were probably the most biggest stressors of planning my wedding. They posted on IG, they had 3 weddings that day and boy did it look like my arrangements were the end of the list. I have nothing but kind things to say about Juan Carlos. He did nothing but listen and try to put the fires out. As for the owner, snobby, condescending and rude. She once charged me $18 a mason jar pre Covid, then she tried to charge me the same design mason jar $75! I got a charge over $400! Thankfully i fought it and they refunded my money back. My florals did not feel or look special. They looked like your basic Pinterest pastel colors. They added so much greens to make it look big. I pay for flowers and roses, not greens. Pretty sure this post will piss her off and she will blame it on the "contract" and "you approved changes" when I never got a mock-up as it stated in my "contract". Don't purchase from here. I was all about helping businesses but this lady is rude and if you don't got $$$$ She will give you a cheap floral. Want to know what was better? Misleading product photos on the website... I wanted to celebrate an anniversary with my significant other and it was especially important because we are doing long distance. Because of my distance, I had to order through Glendora's website. What I ordered and what I got looked COMPLETELY different! I added the photos so you can see for yourself. The website photo looks like a purse-like vase with a carefully picked out set of flowers that matched. What I received looked like a child picked a bunch of single flowers that appeared to be included in that photo and just randomly took single flowers in a store. Then they put it in a BOX. OK, the quality of the flowers and macaroons are not bad, but I paid $200 for everything. Seriously, at that price, come on. My significant other was surprised that that was what I ordered. She would have NEVER thought those two were the same thing. I sent in my complaint and they told me to exchange IN PERSON. I already told them I'm long distance! They also did not offer to refund any amount and claims the flowers are from overseas. OK, that's nice but it's still not what I ordered and what I ordered costs $200. They have nice expensive $20 macaroons and nice flowers, but don't expect them to look like what you ordered. It will be completely random. A circle will be a square. Pink will be white. I read a couple of reviews where miscommunication could've played a role in the unhappy service so to avoid all that, I called the shop. Their customer service was superb! They let me know they didn't have that vase in pictured but texted me what they had instead. Everything at my son's wedding was perfect, except the flowers. They were sad, droopy, and sparse. We gave clear directions and photos of what we wanted. We paid 6,000 and definitely did not get what we paid for. I was hoping for some professionalism from the owner, an apology, maybe a, "you're right, we did not deliver, and the product received was below standards. But, we received a rude and unsympathetic response. To boot, the owner butt dialed back and we got a five minute treat of the owner, Dalel, dishing up vulgar nastiness about her client. I waited a month to write this review hoping that Dalel would acknowledge the horrible floral arrangements we received. Several of the guest commented on the flowers and asked what happened to the floral arrangements. As you can see from the pictures, it was sad and disappointing. read more

I was unhappy with my initial consultation with the suggested florist so I did some of my own research which lead me to Dalel at Glendora Florist / Los Angeles Floral Couture. I was impressed from the initial consolation. I sent some of my ideas / inspiration via email and arrived with little expectations for our initial consult but Dalel had an entire mock up bouquet ready for me to view. WOW. That was unexpected. They listened to my every detail and never faltered from day one all the way to the wedding day. Set up was on time, seamless and honestly went without me even knowing they were there. They made my vision a reality and were reasonably priced. I have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to recommend them.
