I called at 4:30 PM, well past the same-day delivery cutoff, after trying three other florists who told me it couldn't be done. One florist even told me I wouldn't find anyone willing to deliver last minute, but I wasn't ready to give up since it was for a birthday. When I called Grand Florist, Valerie was so kind, sweet, and genuine. She listened, didn't rush me, and took the time to check with her driver, who agreed to make the delivery for me even though it was last minute and only about eight minutes away. The flowers were beautiful, the delivery was fast, and the service was truly the best I've experienced. And the price was completely fair and honest. Love Grand Florist! We used them for our wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice! Highly recommend! We first ran across them by coincidence as we were driving through the area while looking at other vendors for our wedding, which was about 7 months away at the time. We decided to stop in and discuss our ideas for floral options for our wedding and the owners were so helpful, warm and kind. They listened closely to what we said we were looking for, looked at pictures with us, provided suggestions whenever we were unsure about specifics, were completely upfront about the costs right away, and were consistently friendly, professional and congratulatory. Their prices were extremely fair, especially considering we were getting married the weekend before mother's day, which I didn't realize would be so difficult but actually led some florists to flat-out deny us right away. After meeting with several florists, we decided to go with Grand Florist because we really loved the couple who own the shop, their prices were great, and they were able to give us everything we wanted for our big day. On the day of the wedding, they were very communicative -- Diwakar sent me texts with pictures of all the bouquets and arrangements, including the large floral arch that he set up personally at the venue. It was a huge relief to see that everything was set up beautifully before I arrived, since the rest of the wedding party and I were getting ready at a separate location. He arrived on time and had everything set up perfectly and quickly, including taking great care to make sure the bouquets would be well preserved in vases with fresh water somewhere cool so that everything would be looking fresh and perfect all afternoon and evening. Everything looked picture perfect all night, including my large cascading bouquet, even though cascading bouquets are notoriously difficult to keep watered and fresh for very long. Things will inevitably go wrong on your wedding day -- our rental company showed up 3 hours late (which was the ceremony start time) -- but you can rest easy knowing that Grand Florist will deliver on all the promises they make and they will be warm and communicative throughout the whole process. She kept talking over me not letting me explain that Not only did the flowers look nothing like the picture, they were already wilting on delivery. Told me if I wanted a refund to come and drop off the flowers myself even though these were birthday flowers for my mom because I was out of town and I paid extra for delivery. I said you may come pick them up. She sent someone to pick them up within 20 mins and never gave me a refund. These flowers cost over $120. Very bad quality and service. On August 24, 2023 I went into Grand Florist on Route 66 in Glendora and purchased an arrangement for my wife on our anniversary, the associate took me into the refrigeration room and showed me arrangements already made, I then asked her when they were made and she assured me they were made "yesterday" on the 23rd of August. They were delivered to my wife's job which is in an air conditioned building, she brought them home to an air conditioned home. They were beautiful for a couple of days but wilted on the fourth day. For the money I spent, well over $100 I believe they should have lasted at least a week. Fresh flowers do not wilt so quickly so they had to have been old. I made several calls and left messages only to get no response. I'd like to warn everyone about this business, so you don't have to go through what I've been through. I'm really upset. I ordered an arrangement of flowers for my mother for Valentines Day to be delivered at a business. It's common sense that if you're supposed to deliver at a business, that it be delivered early sometime in the morning or the latest by 3pm. They made an attempt to deliver after business hours (after 5pm) Are you serious? So my mom never got her flowers. I called and they said they made an attempt but it was closed and that they would deliver it tomorrow. It defeats the purpose now. Smh. Such a disappointment. I should have asked for a refund. 2/15/17 So my mother got her flowers and they were nothing like what I paid for on the website. Smh. Hands down, the best bouquets in the area. Super friendly service. When you walk in you'll see right away, this florist has a unique cute cottage vibe. Flowers, gifts, candles, pottery and cards brighten the shop's decor. In the back of the shop they have a walk-in refrigerator/cooler where they hold their pre-arranged bouquets and loose flowers. I usually pick out a few flowers myself, bring them up front, and they wrap them in an amazing way. Throwing in some filler; Baby's Breath, Fern, branches. I've stopped in for some flowers for my wife and grandmother time and time again. They love them every time. I highly recommend. I bought a living social deal for $39 and was supposed to receive a bouquet worth $100. As mentioned by a previous yelper who purchased the same deal, the bouquet was definitely not worth $100 and more like the face value of the voucher, $39. Maybe the $61 difference went toward gas to pick up the flowers from downtown LA's flower mart? I've paid $50 for much better flowers than this from other florists. Prior to purchasing the deal, I called the florist to get some details and was told that the bouquet is big and entirely worth $100. I was also told that I didn't need to reserve the bouquet and two types of arrangements would available to select. When I arrived, all of the arrangements were sold out, so I reserved a bouquet for the next day. When I came back the next say to pick up the arrangement, there were stems that were withering and about to die. I thought the flowers were supposed to be fresh, because they were just arranged? I will not be returning nor will I recommend this vendor to anyone else. Let's see if Living Social will refund me. Picture is posted for your reference. Instead I received an arrangement that looked like dead flowers smooshed together. When I asked what can you do to fix this or make it look more "alive"; the man said "its Sunday this is what we have and if you want any other flowers it will be additional cost" when half the flowers in the arrangement looked dead. Great service and beautiful arrangements! I set up a delivery to surprise my wife for our 4 year anniversary. After ordering, I realized that we were planning on leaving for a anniversary getaway earlier than I expected, so I emailed them to let them know. I got a prompt response from Roger saying they would have it delivered on the morning by 11am. I called store right away (Within 5mins after the driver delivered) A lady answered phone with good attitude, saying the driver will come back. She also asked my phone number. However, after 1 hour, nobody came, no phone calls. I called again, a guy answered. He is so rude. Just told me the driver can't deliver today. They will deliver tomorrow. I said no, I have to cancel order. He said he can't make decision. He will let owner call me back within 10 mins. After another 30 mins, nobody call me.
