Audio I just finished carefully listening to and reviewing the several audio discs made for me by him that he transferred so well from a variety of audio cassettes (one commercial album, one with radio hits I recorded back in 1997, the others recorded live of me playing with other musicians. Being the musician and audiophile that I am, I was so impressed that everything sounded so good and right on pitch! You can tell that Richard takes the time for quality. VHS & DVDs Richard digitized many VHS tapes that had family recordings (including wedding) as far back as the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s. Everything looked and sounded fine overall, especially when you consider the age of those tapes. Also, recordings of me playing with different bands throughout the 2000s (one from tape and others from DVDs). Super 8 and Regular (Standard) 8 Film Several years back Richard completed three lengthy files of film: one of my wife's childhood, one of my childhood and one of my wife's very early adult years with her family early on before I was blessed to meet her. We are so pleased to have those on a hard drive which can now be easily copied to make backups and share with other members of the family. We lived in Japan for a year in 1963 when I was 5. My dad bought battery operated transistor tape recorders for us and our family in California so we could record messages to each other on 3" reel to reel tapes. We found the tapes when my sisters and I went through my Mom's belongings after she passed. I wasn't sure what was on there but I was hoping something good. I took them to Home Video Studio and Richard transferred them to a CD. He went to a lot of trouble adjusting the speed as he went, to try to have the voices sound normal. What an excellent job he did! Many voices from the past - aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and my dad who passed away when I was 18. What a treasure. My cousins and remaining family are planning a reunion so we can all listen. Hats off to Richard for having respect for and taking such good care of these irreplaceable tapes and memories. Richard is the epitome of professionalism, and we would give him 10 stars if we could. My father and I brought 2 cassette tapes to him to digitize. His home studio is perfectly well organized and spotlessly clean. The cassettes we brought him are over 30 years old and not great quality, but Richard did an excellent job transferring them. I was extremely happy with my experience! My family had given me an old 8mm video tape and asked to get it transferred to digital ... so with help from my friend google I was led to reach out to Home Video Studio. May 4, 2020 I needed a digital copy service to convert my old Hi-8 and VCR tapes from over 40 years that I wanted to get on DVD for the family to enjoy for many more generations. I think I had at least 10 to 12 hours of actual video on 10 different tapes. Richard the owner of Glendale Video Solutions took care of my needs as I requested and even gave me a discount being retired military/senior which was nice. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and cost. A quality job was what I wanted and the result was 10 DVD disks titled and in a nice holder of all 10 disks. I am so thrilled with a video tape transfer to usb that I just received from Glendale Video Solutions. I had an old vhs tape that had great memories from thie 90's. I dropped off 30 years of old family videos to Richard at Home Video Studio. My conversion to DVD's was completed a week before promised. The DVD's are numbered and titled. The viewing quality is good. The company keeps numbered copies of your videos so you or other family and/or friends can order specific DVD's by phone using the number. I was credited for all videos that were short or for blank tapes. This demonstrated to me integrity and honesty since I had not viewed these videos for years and could not possibly determine which were short etc. I wholeheartedly recommend this company. read more

Very pleased with the service I received from converting my VHS to disk. Most were originally recorded in the early eighties in VHS format. One of them was originally recorded on 8mm film 65 years ago so the quality of that original recording wasn't that great. Then that one was converted to VHS some 30 years back so there was degradation from that conversion. Nonetheless I am very pleased with the end result. Just arrived home after picking up my VHS tape that was transferred to DVD by Richard L and couldn't be happier. I spent an hour or two on the computer yesterday trying to find someplace to have this done in less than a week and came upon Richard's studio. Not only did he complete it in one day, (one 30 minute video) it was the least expensive of all. Walgreens was $35, Costco and Walmart were $20, but all of them said 2-3 weeks for completion. Awhile back I came across 52 rolls of movie film we had taken in the 70s. I knew Richard and Mary from a networking group.
