This place is very consistent and when I order to-go it's usually ready within 10 - 15 minutes (amazing). Best pho I've ever had. When you dine-in the restaurant you have to sign your name on a clipboard and wait outside, which honestly kinda sucks because most of the time when you're eating pho it's cold outside!! Lol!! Nonetheless, it makes your pho that much better once you do get inside at the table. The parking is a little tricky because the restaurant is located on the corner of a very busy intersection, Glendale Avenue and Broadway. Love this place and is one of my regular go-to spots. They also don't use MSG and they have Ox tail which not all pho places have.

I remember when this restaurant was new. It was good. The quality of this place has drastically declined. Even the basil, bean sprouts that you put in the soup are gross. They do not look fresh. Broth has no flavor. The meat balls you get in the soup are cut from 2 beef balls to make it look a lot. This place has turned into a joke and it show as this place is never busy anymore. Pho Hot on san fernando is glendales best pho now. Everything is fresh and the servings are excellent. Try Pho hot and see how it compares to Glendale Pho. read more

This place has become my go-to pho place in Glendale. I've tried three different locations and they by-far have the best vegetarian broth. Staff are super friendly, broth is amazing, good set of toppings for the veggie pho -- not much else to ask for. They've also been very good with timing. I was merely compelled to choose this phoa spot as this was the most accessible in the area. Our group of 5 got seated after a few minutes & placed our orders right away. We tried their Pho Dac Biet where rice noodles were boiled well but the meat such as brisket, rare steak, tripe & flank were so limited & the broth was a little salty. The Pho Do Bien (seafood) with rice noodles was described in the menu to have squid, imitation crab, shrimp and fish balls but were almost invisible in the bowl. Fried Egg Rolls for 4 pieces came in warm & crunchy but the taste was just average. Our server though a rookie deserved a praise for he tried his best to deliver everything that we needed from start to finish. Glendale Pho Co seemed like a promising find after my recent visit to another local pho spot that served horrible pho. Unfortunately this restaurant (to be fair) is on the smaller side and during rush hour are not friendly towards "party of one". Better to bring a group of people to get seated and considered... yes considered as human and treated fairly. In short, if you are a "party of one" dinning alone don't come here during rush hour - whenever that is. From a business perspective, I get the concept of accommodating a larger party for profit; however, HONEST communication is also important. I was given the run around on wait time; sent back and forth to wait outside ( my fault I should have left). I called the restaurant and ask if I should come in or go elsewhere since I was on their waitlist and did not hear back. The waiter invited me back into the restaurant and said the table was ready- ok no problem ( I been waiting 15 mins at this point). I walk into the restaurant and the original waiter that I dealt with pointed to a table for me to be seated at - than his co-worker (another waiter guy) stops me from seating and gives that table up to another solo diner ( she seemed agitated vs my polite demeanor)... So at this point am uncomfortable. Not to mention both waiters are bickering at each other on who is first... enters the owner I assume. She immediately tried to fix the problem (which I appreciated) - owner lady says , " I will clear a table for you right away, pls wait outside" ( I again, should have left). What can I say I was already there so I waited... Basically waited for another 25 minutes while other larger parties walk in and got a tables! At this point I realize that the owner lady just tried to brush me off and didn't prepare or clear off a table as promised- no hard feelings as I finally left... my problem wasn't the wait time, the problem was lack of communication and total disregard of the customer (me). The owner could have been honest about the wait instead of saying she was clearing a table for me and didn't deliver. Never coming back no matter how good your food may be! read more

I'll start with the staff: probably the friendliest servers and hosts I've had at a Pho restaurant. Which admittedly isn't something I really think about when I get pho. The soup (most important) and the noodles (next most important) were good. That said, the meat was really lacking. The meatballs were okay. The rare steak was not at all rare. It was overcooked and not good, and there was barely any, just a few small bits. But the worst was the flank. I actually spit out a piece because I thought a piece of plastic or rubber was in my soup. When I realized what it was, I avoided the rest of it, which was easy because there were just two other pieces of flank meat. One tiny and one strangely, bizarrely large (like it got past the cook somehow). Like I said, the staff were nice. Would probably not return. read more

My friends and I wanted Vietnamese food, so we headed over to check this restaurant out. First glance, there was barely parking, only street parking. So don't try and park in that little parking lot next to the restaurant. Inside was ok, didn't seem all that clean and the bathroom was kind of gross. Service was good. Got greeted quickly and the staff was super helpful. Our server was friendly, but I did find it funny he was sitting close to us flirting with what seemed to be a classmate. It was very cringe, but it didn't need to happen right next to us. When the food came out, I was disappointed that my rice dish's rice was old and hard. The flavor of the beef was good, but I did find a hair in my food. To be honest, I didn't want to complain and I was pretty hungry so I just took that part of the food off my plate. Overall, my experience there wasn't all that good. Food was mediocre, and my friends who got Pho dishes said that it was bland. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll come back. read more

This is officially my favorite pho spot! Went about four times in a span of two weeks, and took my best friend for his first ever time trying this food! He loved it! And he's super picky, so I know it must've been really good lol The place is really small and cute, and service has always been great, only once I went in, and was told oh, sit wherever you want, and then, when I did, they moved me to a smaller table, because the bigger tables were for big groups only, but then a group of two walked in when we were still there, they sat them in the same table we had attempted to sit, so that wasn't that great, but I don't want to put the blame on the location, because again the food is great and every other time I've gone to service has been amazing. This is our go-to Pho spot. It is super solid, I have been to other pho restaurants and one thing or another has always been a let down. We usually get the rare steak and the tofu pho. The tofu is fried, so I always ask for it to not be fried and they always give me what I want. The broth is always really flavorful and all the add-ons are super fresh. I walked inside the restaurant. (First time eating here) Stood in the middle of the restaurant. No one was waiting outside. They looked busy so I waited. 3 different employees walked in-front of me and around me. I was never greeted, no "Welcome", no "Hello" not even "We will be right with you" After standing there for 5 minutes. Looked around the restaurant. I was finally asked how I could be helped. I greeted the lady and asked for a table for 2. She walked me outside and told me that I needed to write my name on the list. No apology or acknowledgment not even a thank you for waiting patiently for 5 minutes. During the time that I was standing inside of the restaurant, a coupled had placed their name on the list so when she took me outside to show me we're the list was . I explained to her that I had arrived before them. So she asked me to write my name on the list. I Wrote my name in front of the couple's name since I had arrived 5 minutes before them. At this point she should have apologized and confirmed with the couple if she did not believe me. Another lady then comes out and calls the couple that came in after me and when I explained the situation she proceeded to tell me that the other lady, who asked me to write my name on the list, stated that they were next because I had written my name above theirs. It was truly one bad experience after the other. At that point I just let them know that I was no longer interested in dining there. I had never received such poor customer service. Left Glendale drove back home to Long Beach and had dinner at a restaurant where they welcomed everyone as they walked in, knew my name, my favorite drink and provided excellent service from beginning to end. read more
