Very friendly and the most luxurious hostel rooms you could expect to stay in in the wilds of Scotland. It doesn't look that inviting from the outside but on the inside expect spacious rooms, tiled floors, quality furniture including comfortable beds, leather sofas and flat screen tellys. You can cook in the kitchen of the cafe (you have to go outside to get to it but it's not a big hassle) so it's well fitted out with good cooking equipment. The cafe does breakfast so you can get them to cook for you, although it doesn't do evening meals so you have to fend for yourself for dinner or drive further afield to find a restaurant.
