It's also closer to a bunch of small businesses. There's a small waiting room here, air conditioned. 3 seats, free drinks, WiFi, phone charging station, and restroom available. Either find a ride home or plan to stay here about 1-2 hours. I'd bring all my family cars here if I could. They help you make a decision with which tint to choose, if you need it. To the other damages he says, "oh that wasn't us." But yet gives me $300 cash because he knows he messed up. He then tells me is this what you do? You just go to businesses find damage and try to get your money back? I'm insulted and reply no, I don't have time to for that bs. I'm literally there to show them the damage and have this matter resolved. I show him the cuts of tint because they were done by a 4 year old and he says you can't see that, it's suppose to be like that. He asked me okay so what do I want these damages? I say a full reimbursement for the job and to repair the vehicle back to new. He says no way and demands the cash he gave me back. He then insists to call the sheriff. I later view the footage of the installation and Carlos at the front desk admits to the damages made on the window seal. I see where the damages on the hood were made because they just throw the tint onto my hood like it'a trash. Carlos says I'm reaching by claiming these damages, so why am I there? Steve says if I would've cut that piece of your window seal you'd never been able to find it? Really? That's the business owner talking to me. We get nowhere. I leave unhappy and dissatisfied. He's still talking smack saying sue me and see what judge says about this. My family and friends have had numerous cars done here and will not be coming back because of how disgusted they are with this customer service. Just own your mistake and make this problem right again. Damage is damage small or big, this is a brand new vehicle and I paid for a 5 star service and what was I returned with? 1 not a 5 star service. 2 a damaged vehicle. 3 called a liar, I'm reaching, sue me etc. 4 waste of my time and money. 5 a messed up tint job and what a headache. Ricardo handled the install on my Viofo 3-channel setup that I brought in myself, and the work came out very clean and OEM-looking. Wiring is tucked away nicely and everything functions properly including parking mode. You can tell these guys have experience and take pride in their work. The install was smooth, straightforward, and professionally done. Now that I've seen the quality of their work firsthand, I'm even considering coming back for a custom VW OEM-style audio upgrade that Jimmy said he'd be willing to install as well. They take extra care with every vehicle and make sure the quality of their work meets the same high standards as always. The tint on my previous two vehicles is still holding up great! I dropped off my vehicle around 9:30 AM and was able to pick it up around 3:00 PM on a Sunday. They took the time to explain the different tint options and recommend what would work best for me, especially since I spend a lot of time on the road. I decided to go with their highest-grade ceramic tint, although I can't recall the exact name of the product. I also added windshield protection and tinting, along with tint on the sunroof. Unlike their previous operation, where you could easily reach a live person and they would help coordinate directly with your insurance company, everything is now handled through automated text messages. I was never able to get a live representative on the phone despite multiple attempts. After being told to contact my insurance company myself and open a claim (something Safe Choice used to handle for customers), I completed the process and attempted to follow up. Again, no answer--just more automated texts. Eventually, I received a text message to schedule an appointment and booked service for 8:30 AM on Tuesday, 6/2. The problem? Nobody ever showed up. No phone call, no text, no email, and no explanation. I wasted my entire morning waiting for a technician who never arrived. The company advertises itself as "#1 in Windshields," but based on my experience they might be #1 in not showing up to do the work. This level of communication and customer service is extremely unprofessional. Customers shouldn't have to chase down basic information or sit around waiting for appointments that are never honored. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Safe Choice Auto Glass and would encourage others to consider a company that values its customers' time and provides reliable communication.
