After spending $8,000. on an aquarium from Glass Cages, the owner wanted me to pay for $30. in products that I had already paid for but were not in the shipment!! She was rude, condescending and arrogant! The worse customer service I have ever experienced. When I explained they were not with the other items, she argued with me & said since her check-sheet had that item checked off, it must be at my house. She never apologized for them not being there, never once acted as though she actually cared that a customer was dissatisfied...Do not buy from this company, they do not care about customer satisfaction, nor do they appreciate their customers patronage!!! read more

This is how my www.glasscages.com purchase went down... March 21, I called to ask about replacing the trim on my Visio aquarium because I saw they sell aquarium trim. I tell Donna what I want to do and she tells me this is the stuff. I ask when my order will ship if I order today and Donna tells me tomorrow. I place my order and pay in full. April 1, I call after expecting to have received the package no later then the previous Friday, March 29. I'm told it didn't ship March 22 as promised but it did go out the follow week, March 26. I was then told they are busy and "mistakes happen". She then gave me a tracking number and I was told to have a nice day. April 1, shortly after getting off the phone with the great Donna I decided to check the tracking number. The package showed as "waiting for pickup from UPS, tracking slip created March 26, no other updates". April 1, I call back and tell Donna the package still shows waiting for pickup since March 26. Donna tells me she will call me back! April 1, Donna calls back and tells me UPS said they must have made a mistake and not scanned the package on arrival but are sure it's on its way. Donna then asked me to call her back tomorrow if I don't receive it later that day. April 2, I called Donna back because I did not get my package. She asked me to hold while she gets my info. While she's doing that I try to track the package again. This time it shows it was picked up yesterday by UPS after I called about it. Donna returns, I tell Donna the package just magically showed up and shipped out with the same tracking number yesterday after I talked to you. She tells me mistakes happen... again. I guess I'm supposed to not be rude and ask her why she lied to me??? I tell Donna I paid $24 for shipping on something that was supposed to ship he next day and I still don't have it 11 days later. She tells me she is going to talk to a manager to get me a credit for my shipping and call me back tomorrow. She never calls back... April 5, I receive the package and it's total junk. Never in all my years of owning aquariums have I seen this this kind of trim. It's only a 1/16" thick and its 1-1/2 tall, normal trim is 1/4" not 1/16". April 8, I call asking to talk to a manager and Donna answers. She asks, who I am and why I need to talk to a manager. I tell her this is Nick and it's about the package I received. She doesn't put me thru and continues with the questions. I tell her you told me you were going to call me back and she said sorry "mistakes happen and this is only aquarium stuff" as if they sell something else at Glasscages! She puts me on hold and comes back to tell me they will credit my shipping. I tell her that's not the only problem. I explain my issues with the trim and she puts me on hold again. She comes back and tells me to send it back for full credit. I ask for a return shipping slip and she says it's at my own expense. After arguing with her she puts the manager on that tells me if I bought a green shirt on Wal-Mart's website and I didn't like the color green I would have to get in my car and return it. I told her I don't shop at Wal-Mart and if I ordered something on Amazon I would get free return shipping. She continues to tell me "they are not Amazon"... I guess they are Wal-Mart then? I tell her they could at least pay for return shipping after wasting what is almost 4 weeks of my time. She tells me I'm wasting her time and to just mail it back already and hangs up on me. So I get to spend $24 on shipping to get $56 back leaving me with $32. It takes 15 days to get something from them you paid for, how long do you think it takes to get your money back? read more
