I noticed another van had pulled up about an hour later. Later I learned that they had the wrong the windshield. However had the ability to send another van and bring the right one. I filled out a form on-line, picked a time online to drop my car off at Safelite AutoGlass, returned laler the same day and the glass had been replaced. They even moved my oil change service tag from my broken windshield to the new one. It was a very easy and convenient process. The only reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 is an issue that probably isn't related, but the timing made me question it. Two days later I drove across state and left my vehicle outside for two nights. It snowed. When I went to turn on my wipers (after what I thought was long enough for it to warm up), they would not work. They were stuck and I assumed frozen. I ended up having to take my vehicle into the dealer where they told me the wipers gears were stripped. Again, probably not related to having my windshield replaced but the timing just makes me wonder.

My dealer found the issue and gave me a report with pictures which I provided for the warranty work. When i arrived today the tech just shoved the camera back up into the broken housing and said it seemed to be in place. We saw great reviews for NOVUS glass so we gave them a call, to see if they could get us in within 48 hours-- otherwise, we were sure the cold would cause the full windshield to crack. (they agreed) They got us in the next day, and performed a wonderful job, you can't even tell where the rock hit, unless you look at it and knew exactly where it previously was! They were professional and great at the repair! As my hubby and I were in the office waiting area as they worked on our car, a woman came in with her vehicle to get a repair. They offered her a loaner car for a couple hours (glass needs to warm up before repair). As a female, I was taking notice of the utmost respect given to her. Many times auto shops seem to treat females with less respect than they do for other males -- not here! Epic job, awesome employees! Don't go anywhere else!
