I needed glass for a small table / plant stand I found on my local Buy Nothing FB group. It was…read moreready the same day for a very reasonable cost, and was exactly what I asked for. I did not need tempered glass, which would have been more expensive and taken longer to get. When I got the glass home, I discovered that the table wasn't completely square in the corners. The glass fit into each side, but wouldn't sit into the space so I needed the glass to be just a little tiny bit smaller. I brought the glass back to Yankee Glass, with the table (in hindsight, I should have done that in the first place), and they were able to get the glass to fit perfectly while I waited. I would have been happy to pay for the extra labor, they kindly refused my offer and sent me on my way. I'm extremely happy with my experience with Yankee Glass.

I had my windshield replaced in 2025 here because they are a local business, even though my…read moreinsurance like us to use Safelite. I was told they were a listed with Progressive so they guarantee their work. A few months later a HUGE Crack appeared out of no where while I was driving on a side street. At first I thought it was water or something because it came out of nowhere. The Crack started from the bottom of the windshield where the adhesive and weather striping is and curved almost to the other side. The guy at Affordable Auto Glass looked at it and said "oh yep you were hit" and pointed to nothing. I said as much and he just kept gas lighting me. I know I wasnt hit by anything, but they shuffled me into the shop, fast talking the whole way, and set up a replacement appointment. When I got home I inspected the windshield more throughly and the crack starts from a chip INSIDE the glass where it meets the adhesive. Furthermore there is a similar chip on the other side where the glass meets the adhesive that has not propagated into a Crack (yet). These guys do not stand by their work, and will not be honest about their mistakes. This shop was good many years ago but the current owners do not care about quality or accountability.

Eased my concerns. Noah is amazing. I was quoted for 3 hours for installation and calibration but within an hour the windshield was installed. Noah kept me informed on timing and progress. I love the open communication on how the install is going. My phone was dying and I didn't have the charging block, Noah was kind to allow me to charge my phone with one of their chargers. Definitely feel relieved at how fast I was able to get the windshield replaced.

We requested service on our 2007 Hummer windshield. Given a 6 hour window which we took time Off…read morework for only to be called in the 5th hour they were caught up on another job and had to reschedule. On our rescheduled date we also took time off work for our 6 our window only to be told twhen they came they wouldn't touch it. They believed the accessory off road lights were after market and they wouldn't do it. After several phone calls when they realized they would be stuck with this windshield they said if we have them taken off they would replace the windshield. We agreed and took yet another day off to take it in and have the lights removed. Safelite rescheduled with us, another 6 hour window for last Saturday. On the second hour of our wait they called to say they were short a technician and could not come to the house, after several attempts to have them cancel their other client as they cancelled on us twice already they still refused and we had to bring the car to them which was another inconvenience because now I couldn't go to work again. We informed them the shop that removed the lights said they were not after market but an option at time of purchase and they didn't care. So basically missed 3 days of work and paid 300 to have lights removed and replaced and they had no remorse and an oh well attitude. I give them only one star as they did finally get the windshield in. Their customer service was horrible and rude and will never deal with them not recommend them to anyone
