I needed glass for a small table / plant stand I found on my local Buy Nothing FB group. It was…read moreready the same day for a very reasonable cost, and was exactly what I asked for. I did not need tempered glass, which would have been more expensive and taken longer to get. When I got the glass home, I discovered that the table wasn't completely square in the corners. The glass fit into each side, but wouldn't sit into the space so I needed the glass to be just a little tiny bit smaller. I brought the glass back to Yankee Glass, with the table (in hindsight, I should have done that in the first place), and they were able to get the glass to fit perfectly while I waited. I would have been happy to pay for the extra labor, they kindly refused my offer and sent me on my way. I'm extremely happy with my experience with Yankee Glass.

I had my windshield replaced in 2025 here because they are a local business, even though my…read moreinsurance like us to use Safelite. I was told they were a listed with Progressive so they guarantee their work. A few months later a HUGE Crack appeared out of no where while I was driving on a side street. At first I thought it was water or something because it came out of nowhere. The Crack started from the bottom of the windshield where the adhesive and weather striping is and curved almost to the other side. The guy at Affordable Auto Glass looked at it and said "oh yep you were hit" and pointed to nothing. I said as much and he just kept gas lighting me. I know I wasnt hit by anything, but they shuffled me into the shop, fast talking the whole way, and set up a replacement appointment. When I got home I inspected the windshield more throughly and the crack starts from a chip INSIDE the glass where it meets the adhesive. Furthermore there is a similar chip on the other side where the glass meets the adhesive that has not propagated into a Crack (yet). These guys do not stand by their work, and will not be honest about their mistakes. This shop was good many years ago but the current owners do not care about quality or accountability.
