She spent 4 hours on my trial and tried two totally separate styles because I really couldn't decide how I wanted to do my hair. She listened to exactly what I wanted in terms of makeup and never made me feel pressured or anxious about it. I know that during the wedding planning process, I was a little unsure because her social media presence is less than some of her peers (and I wanted to see photos) - but seriously, do.not.worry. You are in the best of hands. My bridal party looked incredible thanks to Kat and her team - do yourself a favor and book them. And if Kat's skills weren't enough - wow, she is just a lovely human being. She is so calm and grounded and was just a wonderful person to spend time with. I can't recommend her enough.

She is so sweet--I actually forgot my veil at home and she offered to go get it for me (that's a 30 minute drive each way!) while we did our first look!! She did my hair and makeup, including the flower arrangement in my hair, put on my husband and his best man's bout and even zipped up my dress! I'm going to post a few photos because honestly, they speak for themselves--I couldn't be happier with how my hair and makeup looked that day! Thanks so much, Kat!

I'm Asian with thin hair and wanted Hollywood glam curls after a low bun. She delivered so well that my hair STILL looked full the morning after, with all the extensions taken out! She asked good questions and was really open to adjusting to my hair/makeup preferences. My wedding day had a tea ceremony, a western ceremony, and hair change for reception. Stace helped me achieve 3 different looks and they were all so special and beautiful! My makeup was flawless and glowing in all the right places. With both the trial and wedding, my skin felt so healthy the day after, no rashes or breakouts. And if you're a crier (I am), trust me, you need her to stay after for some makeup touchups (not just lipstick)! Beyond her talent and technical skills, she is truly a wonderful human being. She made me feel really taken care of during the day like a big sister. She was on-time, prepared for everything, and a super calming presence. I was late and stressed when I arrived in the morning, but she made up for the lost time and kept everything on schedule. She also did male grooming for my husband, and our two moms hairs, and she made everyone look SO good! My advice is to get the male grooming so your husband can look just as good as you! We all loved Stace. Katya from Bridal Beauty Agency was also very patient and kind to work with. Throughout our wedding planning, we threw some curveballs at her and asked a lot of questions, but she was super responsive, understanding, and professional. We cannot recommend BBA enough for the communication, professionalism, and quality of service on the most important day yet of our lives. Thank you!

After an initial trial without my clip-in extensions (due to a color matching issue on my end), I requested a second trial for peace of mind. Meghann accommodated this request graciously, which gave me complete confidence heading into my wedding weekend. For my actual wedding day, I actually gasped when she handed me the mirror. My hair was exactly what I wanted. We were by the ocean (hello humidity!) and I literally danced all night long and my hair was still beautiful by the end of the night. Beyond her technical skill, Meghann's warm personality made our time together during both trials and the wedding day itself truly enjoyable. She also created the CUTEST hair for my flower girls, a timeless looks for my mom and mother in law. Bridal Beauty Agency is so professional, they are wonderful communicators, and will work with you, taking your notes & feedback, to make you feel your very best!! Couldn't recommend them more!

Emily Austin recently moved from Shanti to Via salon (although she is independent). I just had my…read morefirst appointment at the new place. First, scheduling was 1000x easier because she uses Schedulicity.com. So no calling a front desk and being placed on hold, or having to call at specific times. She has a knack and an eye for what would look good on her client. Even though I felt like I was taking a risk, she reassured me and made sure I could come back in if I wasn't happy. However, I was really happy with how it came out. She also frequently checks in with you and clarifies what you want, and balances your opinion with her expert knowledge.

I also appreciate that she is constantly pursuing education, and I have seen firsthand as she tries new techniques and advances her products and offerings. I decided to go brunette a few months ago and she made the transition super seamless. I have extensions again and they feel so soft and integrated with my hair. She does a great time adding colors and gloss to create dimension. She is also such a gem to hang out with! She is empathetic, kind, and fun. She books trials too close to the date, so when the trial went sideways, I had to add a to do to the busy planning, which wasn't ideal. Kendra seems to have a one size fits all approach to makeup, and she doesn't listen. She has a heavy handed approach to application (see her instagram). She is condescending and makes little snide comments that are little biting insults. When I mentioned that my eyebrows were way too dark and overdone, her response "eyebrows are a non-negotiable"... umm, wth is that about? Anyway, upon calling other artists, it seems that Kendra has quite the reputation with her peers. They've heard my story from other folks that have attempted to work with Kendra. Recently, Kendra has announced that she is "mostly" retiring from makeup application, but beware that she is still hiring out makeup artists under her KLS business. There are numerous other capable professionals in the area, and I would highly recommend looking to them if you have any interest in natural and flattering makeup. I gave kendra the opportunity to make this right with a partial refund, which she chose to ignore.
