Little did I know I would be finding the only hair stylist to ever get my hair exactly how I wanted---honestly even better than I imagined it! Even when I showed prior stylists numerous pictures of what I had in mind (and even once drew out what I was trying to emphasize what I wanted, which was a layered style that tapered to a V shape at the bottom) it always ended up looking very rounded and horizontal regardless. When I told Ashley my usual request she didn't ask too many questions about it so I thought "well, here we go again". Turns out she didn't need any more info because she knew exactly what I was going for and did it flawlessly! The next day when I was walking through a parking lot some random woman scared the bejeesus out of me when she shouted "NICE LAYERS!" Today I went back for my second haircut with Ashley and was curious to see if maybe the first perfect cut was just luck, but once again she nailed it effortlessly. We tried an Ombré on my first visit with her after years of only getting partial foils. I had purchased a Living Social for a partial foil. But for only a couple dollars more we tried her suggestion. Exciting, right?! My hair turned out absolutely stunning. I will definitely be going to her again for the same thing. I even booked my next appointment. (I never do that!) Also, she said this style would allow me to go longer in between touch up appointments and my hair will not look obviously grown out like it did when I came in. I said I wanted a length where I could wear my hair up and not worry about pieces falling out. I always bring in a picture to show the stylist exactly what I want so there are no miscommunications. I received a cut that hits at the collar bone and the front layers are too short so it does not make an A-line. Also, when I put it up, pieces of my hair fall out. I'm pretty disappointed especially because the prices were raised to $60 for a cut and blow-dry. I've received a handful of haircuts here and have only had one bad experience so I did not want to take off too many stars. In the past, I've just asked for a trim and face-framing layers. With the most recent experience and the raised prices, I may look elsewhere for my next cut which won't be any time soon since I have to grow my hair out again.
