I'll never be back! I couldn't believe how they treated a pregnant young women the other day! She dropped her card (I think it was) under the desk and wouldn't help her she was on her hands and knees trying to reach it she asked for help and the guy at the desk told her no! She was crying and left. They laughed as she left and the lady never got her card from under the desk from what I seen. I'm so mad at myself for not helping, my nails were wet and I was also just shocked ! It's been replaying in my head because I should have helped her . Got a pedicure with my boyfriend and was very impressed. We had John and Kim and they were great! We both opted for the additional hot stone massage with aromatics and it was wonderful (I had the honey and boyfriend hd the green tea one). While my boyfriend didn't get any polish, I of course did and it was applied with great care. I usually only get a pedicure twice a year but this place felt so good that I think I'll go more often. They do have massage chairs and even a little kid chair too. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Winnie did my nails. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment. She did a dip manicure. She used a gel polish on top (which is not good for your nails and causes the polish to crack). She also raised her voice at me multiple times. They do not have a variety of colors to chose from. When I put my nails under the Uv light, they burned- she told me it's ok keep it there. She kept interrupting my appointment to use her phone. I told her to do a design but had her test it out on one nail bc i was unsure- she absolutely butchered it. The sides of my nails are not clean and they are all uneven. Would not recommend this place. read more

I am impressed! This has to be one of the longest running manicures I've ever had. Typically the gel paint begins to unravel off my nails inside two weeks, but I've had this on my nails (pretty low maintenance gal here) for close to 5wks, and there is still no peeling. They both do great work, especially Annie. She really paid attention to detail and listens to what I want. She is friendly and nice too which is always a plus! My tech did a good pedicure; however my nails aren't shaped and painted with great attention to detail. I went to Glamour Nails on Wednesday for a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. During the pedi, they did a really poor job exfoliating my heels and the towel they used on my feet had many stains on it. I should have left right then....when it came time for my mani, and instead of getting freshly sterilized instruments, the man took the SAME instruments he used on my feet and used them on my hands. Two days later, my nail color is already wearing off and chipping. For my eyebrow wax, they REUSED the wooden applicators that had already been used on god knows how many other customers and proceeded to "re-dip" into the wax basin many times. For any who doesn't know, this is a HUGE NO NO. They are supposed to dispose of EVERY stick as soon as it has come in contact with a customer. It should NEVER be placed back in the wax. I am so disappointed in the cleanliness and practices that I will NEVER return and will make sure that no one else I know does either. read more

This past Tuesday around 7PM, I went into Glamour Nails in Mount Laurel, NJ for an eyebrow and lip waxing. I was quickly acknowledged and taken back for waxing. The woman who did the waxing DID NOT wash her hands prior to contact with my skin, DID NOT use gloves, and DID NOT use a pre-wax cleanser on either of the areas, which are ALL EXTREMELY important for sanitary purposes!!! As far as double dipping the wax applicators into the wax and using the same applicator for each area, I am unsure because my eyes were closed, but I certainly hope that was not the case!!! After waxing, she rubbed off the wax with what smelled like baby oil. She was so sloppy with it that it dripped down my eye lids, and she even got it in my hair by my temple. When I got home, I took a shower, and gently cleansed the area, which is important post-waxing. I DID NOT put any kind of lotions or creams on the areas I got waxed after my shower. The next morning, I was horrified to find 20 whitehead pimples under my right eyebrow, 8 under my left eyebrow and 4 above my lip!!!! Mind you, my skin was completely clear prior to waxing, and I RARELY break out!!! It is now Friday and they are STILL visible. However, there are not as many because I have been cleansing my face twice a day and rubbing Witch Hazel on the affected areas. This really upset me because the woman waxed beautifully, but it is difficult to notice because the pimples are more noticeable!!! I have been in here before for the same services, and developed pimples that time!!! What is so strange about this situation is that I have NEVER developed these pimples at ANY other salon! The only reason I gave Glamour Nails a second chance this past Tuesday, was because of affordability and location convenience. But, once again, I developed the pimples! I scheduled an appointment with my Dermatologist for Tuesday, April 22nd to get a professional opinion, and will write an update on here after that. read more
