My stylist was Gina. She was so personable and didn't make me feel silly asking any sort of question or when I wanted to tweak my makeup or hair. I had a very intricate updo that I wanted and Gina put in HOURS at home in between my trial and wedding day to prepare a hair extension with most of the intricate details complete which made wedding morning a breeze. The compliments on my hair and makeup at my wedding were endless, even from all of the straight men LOL. However, when booking the services for our actual wedding, the experience with Carrie was awful. They wanted to charge me for the "south asian" package which included services I did not need (e.g. dupatta draping when I was going to be wearing a veil), airbrush makeup (which was not part of the trial at all, nor did I want). Despite multiple attempts to clarify that all I wanted was the simple makeup and hair package, Carrie would not budge - so I went with another company instead and 100% no regrets. They basically made it quite clear that because of my race - NOT the services I was requesting - they would be charging me more. Very disappointing. UPDATE: All I wanted was the platinum package, not the celebrity or the South Asian package. The platinum package covered the services I needed and the level of stylist I had my trial with. While a bargain is great, I'd never ever cheat someone to get it (especially if its someone's way of making a living - paying ppl for their work matters!) nor do I appreciate the implication that I would. Trying to bully a client into paying their hard earned money for services they don't want is a big red flag.
