My wax specialist demonstrated a clear lack of proper training and technique. The wax was applied far too hot, causing burns, and it was layered excessively thick with poor removal technique. I left with visible skin damage, wax still on my body, and hair that wasn't fully removed. On top of that, she used an excessive amount of powder and made unprofessional comments about my hair being "too thick" and my "skin being dry." I've had waxing done regularly--even after breaks--and have never experienced anything like this. It honestly made me think about how a first-time client would feel going through this. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of response from management. I have called every day since my appointment, once it became clear I had been burned, and have received no follow-up from either the store manager (Adriana) or regional manager (Gabby).
