It began with a virtual consultation with Nadine and Sofia to go over the details of the photoshoot and next steps. Since I am pregnant and also have two boys, I wanted the photoshoot to be special by capturing our growing family. We decided on a maternity and family holiday photoshoot, which included variety of backgrounds and outfits. The next step was scheduling a in-person fitting prior yo the shoot to try on a few dresses. Sofia put together a styling sheet and provided suggestions on what to wear for my family to coordinate nicely. Sofia also provided a timeline on the day of the shoot, which was very helpful. As a busy pregnant working mom, the best thing about this entire experience was getting professional hair and makeup done at the studio! Shoutout to artist Veronica for making me feel and look my best. I have done two sunrise family photoshoots in the past, and I absolutely do not have the energy, time, or desire to get ready on my own. I also had a maternity in-studio photoshoot done last year, I had to go get makeup and hair done in two different places, then drive an hour, which by then my curls were no longer holding. Not at Sachiko Studios, they will take care of you from beginning to end, and you will feel fresh. After getting hair and makeup done, we did a quick maternity photoshoot session. My family met us at the studio and we did the holiday photoshoot. The in-studio photos of our family portraits turned out lovely. For outdoor shoot, we drove to Bradbury's Bridge, which was about 15 min away. I loved the fall and natural backdrops. Having the option of doing an outdoor photoshoot was great because it captured our active kids candidly. Nadine was so great with my kids! She was able to capture my youngest looking happy and all smiles. She rewarded my oldest for being good at following directions.

Finally came to a place in my business where I felt like I needed some professional branding…read morephotos. My business is ALL me and I needed help capturing what I do to launch on my website. My photo session included hair and makeup by one of Nadine's stylists, Quendy (highly recommend!!) and wardrobe! That really helped because my closet consists of leggings and sweaters lol. We did 3 outfit changes, Nadine shot some of my products, and action shots with a model. Nadine made the whole experience very comfortable and fun for someone who is *really* shy and prefers to stay behind the camera. I love how my photos came out and excited for another photo session in the future!

She made me feel like I was getting the red carpet treatment! Normally I don't rock make-up or do my hair or wear luscious gowns but mannnn!! In the time leading up to our session, we had a consult to talk about the look I wanted and the outfits I wanted to wear. I personally wanted to focus on my workout gear and she gave me the option to consider and think on also lingerie and a fancy gown. I said well, yeah, let's do it! Fast forward to the day of, I had a whole suitcase packed with possible outfits--- I counted on Nadine's expert eye to choose the colors she thought would pop. I then was ushered over to meet the make-up team-- like I mentioned earlier, this is normally not something I'd do. It was just awesome sitting there just getting pampered. Eye sensitivity is a thing for me but my eyes were done with the most super gentle brush strokes (turns out my make up artist trained in fine art). Anyway, once we got to the shoot itself, Nadine made me super comfortable. We shot me in my fitness outfits in a few backgrounds at first. I didn't really have a gown or anything fancy for the more dressy part and it was here that Nadine busted out an incredible two piece dress that she thought I could pull off lol. Lastly we went to the boudoir and lacy stuff. Once I saw my photos in these outfits, I thought hot damn, Nadine you made me look too good. Nadine Sachiko was wonderful, kind, and made the whole experience fun and exciting (I was nervous since it was my first time). I was lucky that there was an available booking a few days after I put in a request and it was 2 weeks before Valentine's day. I had the option of bringing my own clothes or try hers. The package I bought was for makeup, hair, 2 outfits and shoes. Nadine knows what she is doing! She will help you with your poses every step of the way. Tip: Stretch before you go (I don't workout) because you will be holding the poses the entire time and my body was sore. You will be there for about 4 hours. Nadine's work was great. Not as much photoshop was needed and she sends you proofs/drafts of how it would look in an album! She made the whole process easy! I will go back to her again for family or couples photos next time!

They were very considerate of our time (and our kids' attention spans!). They even contacted us the day before our family shoot and asked if we wanted to reschedule because it was so hot. We did, and avoided super-sweaty kid pictures thanks to this photographer's thoughtfulness. Our pictures turned out amazing--Brian truly captured our family through both posed and candid shots. Her prices are incredibly reasonable but more importantly she really makes you feel comfortable. I have done 2 photo shoots with her and have 1 more on the way. My first photo shoot with her was for my solo realtor business cards. My next photo shoot included my business partner, who is a bit camera shy. Toni did an excellent job talking us through poses and giving us suggestions. Even if you feel ridiculous in a pose, you may find yourself pleasantly surprised by the outcome. When it comes to editing, she listens to your asks and makes it happen. If she doesn't know how, she'll find out. Long story short, I very much enjoy working with Toni because she makes me feel comfortable and is open to my feedback. That goes a long way when working with photographers.

We had the pleasure of doing a "fresh 48" photoshoot, and thanks to her flexibility, Toni was able to come to the hospital the morning our baby was born. This gave us beautiful, priceless memories of our newborn's very first moments. In addition to the "fresh 48" shoot, I worked with Toni for announcement photos and photos with her grandparents. Each time, she spent quality time ensuring the baby was in a good mood (which was super helpful, especially when there was no feeding schedule!).
