Smaller boutique, most options are in sizes 10 and under, but we wound-up finding an AMAZING dress for my niece's Sr Prom. Even better they track who goes to what school & what they bought, and ensure no-one else can buy that same dress from your school! Appt is necessary, but you won't be disappointed!! read more

We went looking for dresses for my daughter, who will be in a pageant at the National American Miss Teen pageant (NAM). The staff was FABULOUS! Imagine former crown holders assisting you look for a gown. They were very knowledgable and helpful. The owner was there, and she was fantastic. The dresses were beautiful. The prices were reasonable. They even had comfortable blinged-out shoes and accessories. Plus attire for pageant optionals. Glam Squad is the BEST we found in Arizona. read more

Avoid this hole in the wall at all cost! It's in a strip mall and the inside is dingy. They are rude and make you feel unwelcome. As soon as you walk in the door they ask if you have an appointment, which we did. They should welcome anyone willing to walk in here. There is zero customer service. Once we found four possible dresses, they only give you two at a time. I have never walked in a boutique or any store for that matter and felt such a disconnect with the sale reps. We found two dresses that were a possibility but I would rather give my business to a business worthy of my money. You ruined my daughter's prom dress shopping experience. Patti Best of luck to you and your business. read more

Fantastic experience! Thank you so much! We found the perfect dress! Very helpful and nice selection! We are from out of state and would go back here to purchase again! read more

The dresses are very nice and the lady checking my daughter and I out was amazing and patient. I was not very impressed by the gals helping us out with the dresses. We told one of the gals helping us that one of the dresses was a maybe and probably needed to order it in a different color. She put the dress back on the rack and someone else took it. Some seemed very annoyed helping. read more

I posted a review and somehow it got taken down. My sister and I have never been treated so terribly at a shop. My sister was trying to find her dress for her senior prom and went in completely full of joy. First off there plus size section is pretty non existent. Not a single worker helped us find dresses or pick out a dress, she was not getting the full experience, we noticed they were helping all the other average sized women but paid no attention to her. When she went to try on the dresses they stated you can't zip them up yourself and we said that was okay until no workers ever came to help we ended up having to do it ourselves. When we brought up our frustration the workers handled it so offensively when they were the ones not doing their jobs. I also want to note the owner was the rudest of them all. Would give a 0 star if I could, also want to add once I posted this I got a response saying we will look through our footage and make sure this happened. To prove your customers wrong how could you do that when we both walked out crying from how we were treated. So unprofessional read more

Where ultimately the lady at the front desk was very rude to us the floor staff made the experience much better. There are some beautiful dresses and my sister did end up finding her prom dress. (unfortunately, we had to beg to let her try it on) I understand it is prom season and it can be very overwhelming however, the dresses are not cheap and I would expect to be treated with a little kindness when we are trying to spend hundreds of dollars at your store. read more

Definitely hit or miss on styles. My daughter only found a handful of dresses to try on. I was reprimanded for zipping up my daughters dress. I get not wanting to damage the dress, but no one was around to help. You have to make an appointment, so if that's the case, someone should be there to assist. read more

I love shopping at Glam Squad for all my pageant wardrobe! I would suggest Glam Squad to anyone who is looking for prom, weddings, pageants, galas, etc. I feel like a kid in a candy shop whenever I go in! I could spend all day trying on the stunning and beautiful dresses that Glam Squad has. The customer service is amazing and they make sure to take care of you and help with anything you need. If they don't have what you are looking for in stock they offer to get it shipped in just in time for your event. There is no place like Glam Squad. read more

This store carries beautiful couture dresses. But the customer service left a sour taste in my mouth. The sales woman was no help at all, she looked me over and told me I would never fit in the dress size I stated. Instead of proving me wrong or even showing me larger sizes she left it at that and dismissed me. Now what retailer would not be willing to make $600 off of a sale?! An ignorant racist one! I feel I did not get the attention and respect I deserved because of my skin color. Now color me wrong but I say it is what it is. But its ok because I went over to Ooh la la by Posh in Phoenix and purchased the most beautiful dress with the best customer service a girl can ask for. See pics of me in my Mac Duggal from the other store! read more

Glam Squad easily takes the cake for the best shopping experience I've ever had while searching for my perfect gown! The selection is HUGE, ranging from rompers to ball gowns & everything in between. I first visited Glam Squad back in October and I was so pleased with the one on one time I got with my stylist! She made me feel like the most important person in the room and so so beautiful! I would highly recommend Glam Squad to anyone shopping for prom, a pageant, or any event they need to get 'Glam' for. read more

Totally Rude! We spent $500+ dollars last year on a dress that they sold us the wrong size and had to have it exchanged for the correct size, and then another $250 to have an altered. I reluctantly returned there this year with my daughter - only to be greeted with absolute rudeness, not even acknowledgment that we had been there the previous year- OK so I get that with the clueless sales girls, but the bitchy owner in the background That only acknowledged us after we get our wallet out. No, thanks we went to Roxanne's and had the sweetest lady from Texas with real hospitality and kindness. read more

Great customer service! Makes the process so much easier. They definitely have a good range of dresses and the price!!

My daughter and I had a wonderful shopping experience at Glam Squad! This was my first ever shopping experience for a prom dress. I chose Glam Squad after reading the reviews on yelp and decided to take the 2 hour journey down to Scottsdale from Groom Creek (Prescott.) Wow! Upon entering, we were greeted by Catherine, a very sweet and patient sales associate. She was a busy bee, pulling prom dresses for my daughter and other teenaged girls, while keeping very pleasant! This store was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. However, you will find a very large selection of gorgeous dresses and a dedicated sales staff! After trying on many designer dresses, my daughter chose a Mac Duggal embellished v neck gown in gold. So 70's and so her! Plus, it was marked down 60% because it was missing a few sequins, but that's an easy fix! :) We are so happy! Thank you, Glam Squad! read more

I brought my daughter and a few of her friends in to look for prom dresses. They first off make you feel like you really can't afford their dresses. The place looks cheap inside. We looked around and the dresses didn't seem anything spectacular To me for the prices rather go to Neimans or Saks. I asked to see a dress for myself that was in a glass case and they first said "you know that dress is over 1k" I said yes I know. Then she still kinda looked at me and walked to ask this older lady (I'm guessing the owner) about me seeing it. Then she said to me again those dresses are over a thousand dollars. I said yes I know I can afford it. Then she told me I would have to schedule an appt if I wanted to see that. I said I'm fine I will go somewhere else. Talk about RUDE! Obviously they like to judge who has money and who doesn't. I wouldn't waste my time there or send anyone I know. read more

Glam Squad had a HUGE variety of dresses to try on and choose. My daughter tried on over 50 dresses across 3 weekends before finding "the one." The women working the floor were very nice and helpful with guiding my daughter to dresses that worked with her style. After choosing, Patti was very kind and patient about helping my daughter finalize her decision and she was able to order the dress she wanted in the correct size. Some people complain about Glam Squad being picky about trying on. For the most part, they are selling dresses off the rack. You are not trying on samples - these dresses are items for sale. Therefore, they are going to ask you to be careful not to damage the dresses because they cannot sell a dress if you damage it by forcing zippers, snagging beads, or smudging makeup on the fabric. They are super nice, they just ask for a little mutual respect. So, the gown was ordered. It arrived earlier than expected and Patti gave us a list of seamstresses that could make the final alterations. The dress is beautiful and my daughter is happy. I would HIGHLY recommend Glam Squad for any special occasion dress. read more

I am so impressed at Glam Squad! From their multitude of gown options to their incredible service, I could not have asked for a better experience. I absolutely recommend coming here for any occasion you may need a dress for. read more

I have been going to Patti for years to find pageant gowns and she hits it out of the park every time! She gets fabulous gowns in from a bunch of designers. We had such a wonderful experience picking out our daughters prom dress. They have a large variety of dresses to choose from. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and patiently assisted. The store was busy, yet we never felt hurried or ignored. We found the perfect dress and placed our order with Patty at the front desk. (The dress color we wanted was not in stock) Fast forward a week and Covid-19 struck. When the dress arrived Patty reached out to me and had the dress mailed to my home for free. The dress is stunning. Great customer service and friendly faces made this experience 5 star. We hope that she will get to wear her dress. Thank you Patty and associates! We will be back read more

I purchased my daughters junior and senior prom dresses here. Both times we received excellent service and never felt pressured to buy anything. The girls that work there were patient with her. She tried on many dresses and they never once made us feel like we were overstaying our time. One thing that is really nice is when she bought the dress they noted which high school she went to so they wouldn't sell it to someone else at her high school. There is a great selection of dresses to choose from as well. read more

Hardly any choices of dresses. Disappointing considering they advertise prom and pageant.

i was very disappointed when i walked in as AN 19 year old customer who does not live with their parents and is considered an adult was told i could not shop or go in the store without an adult or legal guardian. The workers were rude and discriminating me, i felt very unwelcome. I will never be going back. read more

Literally worst service I have received in Scottsdale. They were not helpful, when needing to zip up a dress the workers would freak out when trying to help zip the dresses, when trying to receive names for the dresses since they weren't able to be put on hold they literally freaked out as if these dresses were one of a kind or extremely expensive. Like please customers are priority in this type of business...why the rudeness and freak out when this should be a pleasant fun experience?! Go to Roxanne's , they were friendly & superb read more

We went to glam squad in search of the perfect prom dress for my daughter. The customer service was terrible. I was the only person helping my daughter get in and out of dresses. We had a second appointment at another shop 15 minutes away and found them welcoming, helpful and most importantly she received one on one attention trying on dresses. read more

I went in with her friend to try and find my prom dress for my junior year. The lady was very rude and kept telling me I wouldn't fit in a dress "that size" which made me very upset and self conscious about my weight. She wouldn't leave me alone the entire time and if I went to look at a different size dress section she came up to me and told me I would not fit in that and she will take me back to my section. I asked her if I could try a dress that was on the mannequin and she told me she didn't think it was my size before even looking at the tag. When I told her it was my size she gave it to me but told me it probably wouldn't fit still. Then she barged into my dressing room and goes "ya I knew it, this doesn't fit you" like i didn't already realize that. I ended leaving after trying on 2 dresses because she was so rude. (if i could give this no stars i would) read more

The one staff member (blonde) is very sweet and helpful. BUT the owner is something else. When I was refrencing another dress shop I was going to visit she got angry and said with quite an attitude "What could you want that I dont have?!" Very rude. Not returning or recommending. read more

Disappointing experience. Needed a specialty dress. Made an effort to drive up to this location, out of our busy schedules. Website had no indication that appointment is required, just indicated hours. Declined to allow to shop or look around. Sent away even though made an effort to go to the brick and mortar store. With Online shopping taking over the retail landscape, I would think every sale at a brick and mortar store is necessary for a business. My daughter and I will consider carefully purchasing from this store after the snooty experience. read more
