Breanne easily made the trip to La Jolla at 630 am to get myself and my girls ready for my Sunday brunch wedding. Breanne is so honest and fair, while researching vendors, she was the only one who didn't charge extra for an early start. Also, airbrush make up and traditional make up are the same price. There are no minimums, she can do just your make up, or the whole squads. Breanne and her team were so time efficient. She easily accommodated last minute requests. In fact, that morning, one of my friends decided to get her make up done as well, and they managed to do that without appearing rushed. My make up was absolutely flawless on my big day. Airbrush is the way to go! It lasted allll day. My complimentary fake lashes were so secure, yet did not hurt when they needed to be removed. Also nice is that with glam on the run, you can have make up and hair done by 1 vendor. So much easier to coordinate. Breanne and team are equally talented with hair. These gals were SUPER easy to work with! Take a controlling, over-bearing, micro-managing Mother of the Bride (oh wait, that's me!!) and a Bride with a mind of her own, a sister that just doesn't give a damn and a missing bridesmaid and that could easily be a recipe for disaster. But it didn't have to be with the Glam On The Run girls at the helm. They arrived right on schedule and got right to work. No matter how prepared you try to be, you simply can't be when the you know what hits the fan, but they weren't flustered by a thing and kept things calm and moving. I was worried that my hair and makeup wouldn't stay since I would be leaving first and making final reception set up arrangements, but it did. The girls had pictures before the ceremony and they trucked all over Balboa Park and still looked fresh and beautiful through the night. Lily is simply amazing! I was super nervous about finding someone to do my hair for my wedding because I was very particular about how I wanted it to look. I wish I could put down no stars for this place. At first I was dealing with Bre, then for some reason I was handed off to Katie. I was attempting to make a simple appointment trial run for my wedding day. Katie doesn't confirm 24 hours of our appointment, so naturally I look elsewhere. She does not get back to me till the day of hours before the appointment. So as a courtesy I email her to let her know. She has the audacity to tell me I wish you would have given me more notice. So I tell her I did make attempts and got no response. So instead of letting it go she tries to get into an argument via email. All I have to say is thank goodness for yelp! There was clearly a lack of communication so then she tries to pin the blame on me. Eff you, it's my day! Good thing I did not use them I can only imagine how the wedding day would have gone. When searching for a professional hair and makeup artist, I found GOTR on Craiglist. I had a trial makeup session with Bre and I loved the work she did. On the day of my son's wedding, Bre ended up with food poisoning but sent Lilly in her place. I was very nervous but as soon as I met Lilly, she put me at ease and assured me that everything would be ok. What a blessing in disguise that Lilly was sent to me. Lilly is exceptionally talented with makeup and hair. She has an eye for bringing out the glamour and beauty in me. She airbrushed my makeup which did not smear the whole day. She did a fabulous job with my hair as well. My son's wedding was in July (hot). I also cried a lot as it was my only son's wedding. I received lots of compliments on both my hair and makeup. I felt so beautiful and my photos came out fabulous. I since have had Lilly do my sister's makeup and hair for her son's wedding as well as my makeup and hair for his wedding.
