There are not enough words to say how talented Delaney is and how incredible it was working with…read moreher. I do not have a solid skin care routine and rarely wear makeup. I met Delaney at a work event and booked her with the only thought of "she seems fun and organized". About four months out from the wedding we had a consultation where we talked through my - well lack of - skin care routine and she gave great suggestions that have been so easy to implement into my chaotic daily life. For the wedding makeup, I expressed my concern of looking too processed and overdone as I have felt I've looked other times I've had my makeup done professionally. She was so thoughtful about what she picked and explained the process in detail as we went. Delaney also goes above and beyond "just" the makeup for the day. We had many folks getting their makeup done the morning of the wedding, and the schedule she built out was exactly perfect. I kept her on through the first look (I am a crier and it was very needed) to do touchups, but she also fully jumped in with helping with my dress, shoes, and anything else you could think of. I cannot wait for the next time I get to work with her!

I was glowing after the facial and my acne prone skin visibly improved. I can't say I had that experience with other facials. (Must be the essential oils!) She also has an obvious love for her craft which made the facial extra special.

The receptionist didn't make any calls to indicate they actually tried hard to find someone else. They advertise walk-ins so this was very disappointing seeing as I had an appointment, and have a health issue that prohibits me from driving so I had to take a day off of work, work out a ride, and have an event tomorrow which is why I made my appt for that day/time. On top of that, I was not offered parking validation (which they normally do), so I ended up paying for no services provided.

I looked every bit as grumpy as I felt and I forever had bad hair days, morning/noon/night, before showers, after showers, scrunching my hair, using special conditioners/shampoos and curl enhancing products (don't ask). With every person I encountered, I would ask; "Do you have a hairstylist you would recommend?" My chiropractor said, "Company C." I called them and it was right around New Years. The store owner called me back; she was polite and booked me for the first week of the New Year. Yay! I wanted a Joan Jett kinda hairstyle aka shag meets mullet. I googled the hairstyle I was wanting, showed it to Kate (I believe that's what her name was) and then, the "magic" actually happened for me. Frizz - GONE; curls - reappeared and present; I left there singing "I love rock n' roll, so put another dime in the jukebox baby."
