The first review spoke about how the stylists discussed how difficult my hair was to blowout while working on me, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and guilty for even coming in in the first place. After that experience, I decided to give them another try and left feeling better about this location. I deleted the review and moved on. Please be aware if you have any texture or thickness in your hair, you will be disappointed. Every time I've come in, I've left notes for the staff to give them a heads up that I have thick and curly hair and to please give whichever stylist a heads up. If, for whatever reason, my hair is too challenging to work on, I'd rather them call me to tell me and cancel my appointment instead of wasting my time. Today, was my final straw at this location. It seems like no matter what, the staff is always struggling to blowout my hair. You'd think between 3 different stylists my hair would turn out looking somewhat decent.... you'd be wrong. I knew as soon as they turned me around in that chair that I'd have to come home a fix my hair, which is exactly what I had to do. The 2 stylists were in a rush to leave to their other commitments, which I totally understand. I don't mind if a stylist has to hand me off to someone else, I really don't care if that happens 5 times during my appointment, I just want my hair to look nice. But, if everyone is in a rush and there's no one to take over for them then the quality of the blowout falls through the cracks. I'm not sure if it's due to them being short staffed, or a scheduling error, or no one wants to deal with my hair, I honestly don't know, but at this point it's just getting ridiculous. Below I'm attaching a picture of what my hair looked like coming home straight from the salon. I had to go back in with a flat iron over everything. For reference, I asked for my hair to be straight. That's it. No curling, not any crazy updo or style, just straight and flat ironed. Why am I paying $70+ for something I have to come home and fix? If I wanted a crappy blowout I would've stayed home and done it myself.

When Yvette had to touch up my roots which is the first time I was not happy with, the second time she asked you what color he used and he didn't even know! He didn't even write down the colors that he used on me because clearly he does not care about his clients and told her to just do what she felt like and figuring it out which ended up with her putting bleach on my hair and frying it off and over toning it until it turned a green tint color. While taking out my extensions she literally ripped off my real hair, at the root. I'm missing chunks of hair. I'm devastated. Jay responded to this by saying "well what do you want me to do?". No I'm sorry, no let's try to deep condition and salvage what you have. No refund, no accountability. He said "extensions and bleach don't damage your hair". Ummm there's a reason I said no bleach. I showed him 2 reference pics , i asked for a layered cut that's longer than the pic, with A LOT of thinning - received a short puffy hair cut with no layers, ZERO THINNING WAS DONE and so short and thick I can't even wear it in a pony or down without a constant blowout . Not to mention it looks nothing like the pic 2. There's a patch of bleach in the middle of my hair thick and visible for everyone to see , from the root down, simply embarrassing 3. The placement of the bleaching was manly made at spots don't really cover and refresh my old balayage that I had so when looking at the hair , u can see a ton of work done anywhere but over the old work that needed tuch up. Also the toner hasn't really stuck to all the bleaching but since I'm not a hair stylist I'll leave that as debatable. When I returned to confirm, the quote had increased for the exact same service. After I pointed it out, she agreed to honor the original quote. However, at the very last appointment, as i was leaving, I saw in her notes that she had actually ordered 22-inch extensions instead. I was lied to, twice. At my first installation, everything seemed fine at first, but within a few days, one edge of my extensions began to lift. When I came back for a correction, I mentioned that the track created a visible bump due to my fine hair. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, Shelly called me "crazy." That comment stung, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. At my next appointment, she admitted she could see the bump and would move the tracks lower, confirming the issue I'd raised earlier. However, her attitude was consistently passive-aggressive throughout the visit. A couple days after that fresh installation, a bead fell out after washing my hair. I also noticed the bottom track wasn't aligned properly, and I had to trim about two inches myself to even it out. When I let her know about the bead, I expected a simple, professional response -- an offer to come in and have it fixed. Instead, five days later she replied that I was "always looking for something wrong" and said she felt uncomfortable working with me. She completely ignored the bead. The irony is I never mentioned the hair I cut off to even the bottom out. Shelly is passive-aggressive aggressive, deflects accountability and will directly blame you for anything. I asked her to not put my beads so tight and she blamed the pain on my hormones/period. It has been a week. I havent gotten it. Shelly even went as far as to seed doubt about my relationship with my colorist. Making an off hand remark "Ramona wants to get rid of you." I brought this to the salon owner, Jessica, and explained the situation, including the unprofessional comments. Unfortunately, Jessica defended Shelly, saying it was just a "personality clash." That kind of dismissal made it clear that accountability and client satisfaction isn't a priority there. The star is entirely for Ramona, who did my color and cut beautifully. I'm genuinely disappointed that I won't be returning because she was great, but the overall salon environment and Shelly's behavior made me too uncomfortable to continue. Update- I'd like to add that Shelly and her assistants will talk shit about coworkers right in front of you. The entire atmosphere is highly unprofessional.
