I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one! Back story: had my eyebrows…read moredone at first salon a few months ago. I was told I was getting a master artist but realized he was a student after he made a horrible mistake and went too far in on my left brow almost giving me a unibrow. I immediately requested him to remove the ink which he did with a saline solution but, it left me with a red patch on my face that took a couple of weeks to heal. Also the shading was very patchy and the color was too dark. After emailing the salon and expressing my disappointment, I insisted on having a master artist when it was time for my touch up. Going in for my touch up I was told he was a master artist however, the "master artist" did a poor job of touching up and I was still not happy with my brows. I waited four weeks and found another artist to correct the issues I still had. Salon two artist agreed the color was too dark and saw the patchiness. I agreed to let her correct my brows; which after mapping had a better shape. After she was done, I realized she also messed up and drew outside the lines (pun intended). At this point I was extremely unhappy and disappointed, questioning my decision to do this in the first place; not to mention the extra costs involved. Even so, I decided to do give it another shot. I did more research on brow artists and salons in Tampa. I came across Beauty Bliss on Instagram. After looking at their work, seeing the accolades given to Maya in Voyage Tampa, seeing the awards she won and reading Maya's' story, I felt a connection as I have a brain injury which effects my self esteem as well. I immediately requested a consultation. From the moment I walked into the studio, Maya made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her compassionate approach was evident in the way she listened to my concerns. She understood what wanted and saw the problems with the previous microblading. She explained what she could do for me to achieve a better look based on my face shape while having to work with what was already done. After the consultation I felt comfortable and confident she could fix my brows. Luckily, for me she was available to immediately work on them. Maya adjusted the color, fixed the shape and shading and I immediately saw a difference and I am confident they will look 100% better. I am excited to see what the final healed results will look like. Maya is not only incredibly skilled but she also genuinely cares about her clients' well-being. Her compassion, empathetic demeanor, kind words and generosity brought me to tears as I was struggling with my self esteem over my appearance as a result of my brain injury. I believe this, her attention to detail and artistic precision is what sets her apart. I wish I would've found her before wasting my time and money. If you're looking for an eyebrow microblading artist who combines exceptional talent with genuine compassion, I highly recommend Maya and her studio.

Not a huge deal, but it feels a little tax-evade-y. Also, they are big into upselling. UPDATE: The owner of…read morethe salon contacted me right after I posted the original review (see bellow). I was invited to come back and she was going to fix it herself. I was informed a little while later that unhappy customers have a grace period of 3 days to come back in and get their lashes fixed (I was not told about that at my original visit) and I am glad I was told about that as I got to go in and get it redone by the owner herself and it looks great now. I talked to her and she told me that some techs have different styles and perhaps the issue was that the tech had a different style and did not achieve a more dramatic look for me as the preferences we give them can be subjective. Now I am scheduled to do my maintenance with the owner herself as she is more in tune with my style of lashes, since I like a more dramatic look preference. I am glad that they took the time to care and make things right for me. I will do my best to keep coming back here, since now I know that they do care and want to have their clients happy with their results. -------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: Sadly when a place discriminates against a coupon they placed themselves on the internet things go bad. The problems started from the scheduling of the appointment, I got a Groupon as I just moved in this state and wanted an affordable way to find my new lash spot. When I called to make the appointment they said that "the Groupon tech" was going to be there whatever the day and they scheduled me for that day. I asked about that and they said that they only had one person tending to Groupon clients.... Their reason as per themselves is that they have the least experienced tech doing the Groupon clients for practice and clientele building.... So I was a practice subject without my consent as I assumed I would get the same quality and expertise as everyone else.... When I arrived I must say it is a nice spot and the staff is friendly. The tech comes out and tells me it's going to take about two hours to get the extensions on... she asked me if I wanted longer and what style, I told her I wanted long but not too much, I know is subjective but I did say I did not want short. And I said I wanted a cat eye. I also purchased a natural volume package. As per the photos on the Groupon looked the most full and girlie. The entire service took 2.5 hours I noticed she spent so much time on my left eye... which looking in the mirror I noticed that the left has more volume than the right. I did not get cat eye, the lash looks straight through.... It literally looks like I am wearing regular glued on lashes and it is not girlie and cute at all. It is hard to explain but it doesn't look good. Also the very end of my lids have nearly no extensions. It looks really bad and not feminine at all. I felt weird to say something as I am a people pleaser and even scheduled a maintenance appointment that I will most likely cancel cause I did not like this at all and if in my first experience there they cared less for me coming back and more for how much I paid, hence giving me a not well experienced person that would not impress me with my results I am afraid to see what the follow up appointment will be. My first impression of this place is that there is a discrimination based on the price you pay... and to make it worse, I paid for a Groupon that THEY had put in the app... that's sad. Cause I really wanted a nice place to do my lashes and this is not it. Now I have to deal with my ugly straight fake looking lashes. See pics.
