I was a few days away from a business trip to California, and I needed to see a doctor. I was…read moresuffering from a skin condition in my scalp that was bothersome and painful. I did not have time to see a dermatologist as the earlier appointment was well after my time in California. I needed immediate relief. I was in Fort Wayne and decided to go to Physicians Urgent Care as it was listed on my insurance plan. I came in and asked to see a doctor. After filling out some paperwork, i waited my turn. I noticed most of the people in the urgent care that day were people to do mandatory testing for work. After about 20 minutes, I was taken inside and spoke with a nurse and told her my issue. She saw the problem and said a doc would come in a bit. Another 15 minutes later, spoke with the doctor and explained the situation. He prescribed me some doxycycline and prednisone. After a few days of taking the meds, I was in good shape. If you need to see a doc quickly but its not something for the ER, go to Physicians Urgent Care!

They wrote on my medical record high risk for HPV and cervical cancer, and they wrote I have late or no prenatal care; besides much other opinionated statements. I have made numerous complaints to the department and staff, including their supervisors and advocates, and everyone is backing what they did is what they do for everyone; and it is standard first time prenatal care. This is my warning about Parkview Carew Street and Knapp's NP office, you will be drug tested without consent, and may pay the bill(s), and have to release your medical information to everyone with or without consent. They said because I am over thirty, they can write high risk for STDs or HPV, but they did the same for a 26 year old I know, (nothing else mattered, such as medical history, amount of sexual partners, or simply because you may not have ever had any STD), and late or no prenatal care can be stated for anyone, because it's the first time you came here in this clinic for prenatal care, even if you had previous doctor appointments, and even if you are not in third trimester. I have spoke to their manager, Amy Knapp, and their staff, and they just keep saying they didn't break Indiana State or Federal laws and will continue doing the same for everyone. Here's a head's up warning for anyone looking for good treatment, I asked for disciplinary actions to be taken, and record changes, so a new provider can accept me, besides my drug test being paid for, and I got an answer of no. I don't know what else to do, besides warn people now and make complaints to outside public officials. I still believe this and other valid complaints are against my rights and my patient doctor bond was broken, besides the fact I was mislead about the urine test, but this medical office is determined they did nothing wrong and everyone is on drugs, have STDs, have no prenatal care, outdated on vaccines, and any condition you have, even asthma or depression is affecting the baby. If I could go back in time, I never would have seen this nurse, and doing this while pregnant and needing doctor care. This was not good care, and no one should be subjected to no medical care and bias treatment, because one nurse and its office feels they are protecting the world and unborn babies from it's mother's bodily harm and diseases by any validation they can come up with. I would rather be getting care, then writing complaints right now, so save your time and take care of yourself with better medical advice, go see a different office, nurse, and staff.

A few staff members do not exhibit any signs of empathy and laughed during inappropriate times. Some staff were very condescending when one asked questions and even argued with family when they were just trying to advocate for my health. My family and I have never been treated this poorly in a hospital setting. I would never recommend this hospital.

She walked out and loudly shouted "GOT CREEPY CRAWLIES IN ROOM 12" With a reply of "ugh. Thats what I needed tonight" How embarrassing. I confronted the other nurse saying it was rude what was said, with a disgusting tone she replied "well do you?" I explained i had psoriasis and I had never had lice before she said "well thats not my concern anyways" She the proceeded to try to take my blood through the iv. When asking what the bloodwork was for she said "I don't know. Its just blood" I was so pissed I began to pull out my own IV. Only one nurse had the decency to talk to me, even looked at my head so he could tell them they were wrong, and reported them. That was only one bad experience. I will never set foot in that place as a patient again.
