I don't know why this place has such a bad rating. Maybe people were there on a very busy day. I went in feeling terrible. The staff at the front desk was super helpful and super polite. When I was taken into the exam room the nurse was so friendly didn't rush me. The nurse practitioner who came in after was exactly the same too. Very helpful. Very polite and very pleasant. The PA Alexis was incredible and very sweet. She clearly actually cares about her patients and listened to everything I had to say. The whole team was extremely quick and had me in the front door and back out in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. I was in the waiting room for maybe 5 minutes and within a minute of me finishing the online paperwork that they give you, I was taken to the room to be seen. I had an absolutely traumatizing experience today at RediMed southwest!!! I was first seen by a very helpful, compassionate and kind brunette, allowed me to explain how we moved across the country on short notice. I just needed 2 partial refills. After being told it wasn't a problem because and she it would be sent over to the pharmacy. THEN a blonde doctor came in and without looking at my current prescription history and not asking any background she wouldn't help even with 2-3 day prescription (if I was drug seeker a small dose for $176 office visit doesn't scream drug seeking behavior to me. The script was due for new refill 4 days ago. I've been prescribed this for mental health and nerve damage for a year, it's a Scheduled 5 refill just even a partial prescription, I was out 4 days ago and they could have helped with a 3 day supply even. I had months of documentation of is being prescribed this medication all at the same pharmacy cvs with the same Dr. so I wasn't trying then some other dr came in and made me feel like worst than dirt and wouldnt prescribe a schedule V refill. I never have written a bad review ever and for me to go to this trouble let's you know It was horrible and I all I can say is I pray for her but that was really hurtful and hard on me. P.S. If I could give no stars I would, it was awful, my appt time was a joke, treated with complete disrespect and disdain. The waiting room was full of really ill people, i was there for an employment physical. No being ill, i was forced to wait 2 hours after my appt time, being coughed on, sneezed at....you get the picture. Will never return and will tell everyone I know this place is awful. There is a lack of urgency here with the front desk staff. Wait times are inaccurate and there is no enforcement of masking in the lobby. I arrived at 7:50 to wait outside, the second person in line, and the front desk staff did not greet me until 8:15. They were able to send the first person through immediately, but I was not seen for an hour. There were two people after me in the waiting room and the three of us were not seen within the hour. It is honestly outrageous and a major offense to people who are taking time away from work. This is the worst checkin system I have ever observed as they don't honor appointments and don't respect you as a human being, let alone a patient. Save yourself the trip. read more

Went to Redimed last night, had a infected finger that needed to be seen. All the staff were very polite. Was so easy to check in and treatment was given with instructions on continual care for healing. Sent me medicine to my pharmacy. Great place to go to if need care, highly recommend Redimed for the times you just can't wait for you physicians to be open. read more

I visited today. The app was very easy to use and I was able to get right in for my appointment. The staff was really nice and helped me walk through how to change my appointment time when I had a commitment come up and needed to change. The treatment was good the nurses were nice and the doctor was quick and thoroughly explained to me what was going on and what the procedure was to treat. I had an overall pretty good experience. I would not however recommend coming here if you have a time sensitive schedule. read more

I went to southwest redimed and as usual I was very disappointed in the poor care that I got. I have an upper respiratory infection but was tested for the flu and it came back negative but was still given meds for flu. I never see a real doctor when I come here but a PA instead and they are worthless. Charged me almost 300.00 plus another 60.00 for the worthless meds he prescribed. A week later I am still sick and have to go to my own doctor for real care and to spend more money. Great job Lutheran Health Network for closing the rapid care clinic on Brooklyn Ave and forcing people to see these idiots at redimed. It is a shame that this is what we have to deal with when we get sick over the weekend. Again, absolutely worthless, will never go there again. read more

Rude and not helpful one bit. Insisted I got to an ER for symptoms I know the ER will turn me away for since I'm not in an emergency/ dire state of health. Just a complete waste of time. Broken equipment as well couldn't get the x rays I needed. Just save your time and go else where. read more

4.5 hours to take a preemploment drug test and I am still not in. This place is the worst excuse for clinic I have ever experienced. You first wait 1-1/2 hours to just get signed in. Then one you get your info in you wait to go back and see person. Terribly ineffective. read more

The holidays, not being one of my favorite emotional times of the year, often lead to me getting sick, which is how I deal with almost any type of stress. This year, I have had a cold that has lingered for about two months, peaking with a lovely sinus infection that attacked my immune system right as I flew from Burbank to Indianapolis for Thanksgiving. FUN! I'd been sick that week, but was feeling better until I got on the plane on Friday. (A pause to thank our sponsor, Airborne - tastes like ass, but keeps you well! I should have taken some before I left home.) I woke up Saturday morning at my sister's house feeling horrible and spouting ectoplasm like an infected whale. I called my doctor hoping for a prescription, but got the on-call doctor instead, who wasn't very sympathetic and was actually quite a douchey, unhelpful bastard.(I'll write that review later.) My sister recommended I head over to Redimed, a nearby clinic, to get checked out. There was plenty of parking and taking care of paperwork with the front desk was easy and quick. I did have to wait about 20 minutes in the waiting room (and about another 20 minutes after being examined by a nurse) but overall, the staff was quick, efficient, friendly, and helpful. I paid $25 and the rest was covered, since they accept most insurance plans, including UnitedHealth, which I have. I received a prescription for a 10-day course of antibiotics (Biaxin, which I don't recommend because it leaves a really nasty taste in your mouth for hours) and a free sample of melt-away Allegra for my allergies. These I do recommend; they taste yummy! Don't eat them like candy, though, or you'll go blind.* * This statement has not been approved by the FDA. Within a couple of days, I was feeling much better and rushing around town doing my Christmas shopping and staying up late gossiping and having drinks with my sister and her husband. I'm normally very pleased with my service at this location. Nurse sent my prescription to wrong pharmacy, which wasn't the end of the world. I called the office a day later, and asked that it be sent into the correct pharmacy. Unfortunately the nurse sent it to a third pharmacy, and when I called back to ask that it be sent the correct one again, I was told that she "refused to do so because it would mess up my chart"; I would have to fix it myself. I made an appointment at noon. I was in the room by 12:05 and and out the door by 2:15pm. The staff was very helpful . They ran a lot of tests and helped me Get set me up with a GI specialist . I definitely was well taken care of. read more

My sister went to redimed in Newhaven. Very sick and in serious need of an antibiotic the young doctor on staff literally brought her to tears and still would not give her an antibiotic she had to call the administrative assistant for this location within moments she was out the door and on our way to CVS to buy her a prescription that she had asked for 2 hours prior this is such a shame read more

I ended up at Redimed on Saturday April 7th. On Friday I had tripped on some in even pavement while walking my dogs and I had a nasty fall. Fell right on my right wrist. By Friday night it was quite painful and swollen. On Saturday morning my husband and I went over to Redimed and arrived about 10 minutes before they opened. There were already 3 people there waiting. They opened the doors and it took 45 minutes before I was called into an exam room. Then the X-ray and diagnosis of a sprain took another 45 minutes. I guess that isn't too bad, but they could stand to have more people working there. After only having the doors open for 15 min, the waiting room was full! Thank goodness we got there before they actually opened. Honestly, I hate Redimed. It really is second rate care. read more

I was seen on Thursday, October 28, 2016. I walked in to an empty waiting room about noon. I sat for 30 minutes before being called back to an exam room by a technician. Once in the exam room, she took about three minutes and took my blood pressure, temperature, heart rate. I listed my medicines and she wrote those down seemingly very confused. She left and it was another 25 minutes before the doctor came in. The doctor was in my presence less than two minutes. She didn't listen to everything that I had going on. In fact, I not even sure that her stethoscope actually touched me. They recommended a flu test. They did one flu swab and then apparently, they did two flu tests for A and B. I was charged $53 EACH for both of those tests. I was never told that I was going to be charged for two tests. I was told they were going to do a flu test, singular. The doctor literally stuck her head back in after another 20 minutes and said it's negative, I'll write you an antibiotic. I felt absolutely no medical care was given. Sure, there are medical professionals. Professional anymore means money. I waited for over an hour and a half to spend less than 5 minutes with a healthcare professional. I will never go to the RediMed on Jefferson just down from Lutheran Hospital, ever again! read more
