The technicians who come to your home are excellent, yet making an appointment and getting someone on the phone very difficult. The prices are enormous versus other companies who do the same work. The worst part is when your system goes down and someone comes to reset it, you learn that it's a simple process that you could've done yourself. Unfortunately you've now been charged $650. Then when the same problem happens again, you are charged the same amount again. No work is guaranteed, no one explains the strange high prices. You are just hounded for payment. read more

GTS has supported our smart home since 2018 and their service has always been excellent. Booking an appointment is easy and every tech has been knowledgable, professional and a pleasure to work with. Smart home technology is amazing but, like with any technology, minor issues can occur. GTS has given us (the homeowners) tools to diagnose and fix problems ourselves, but is always available with on-site service when needed. We had Glabman from the start of construction of our new home. The sale and selection process was made easier with patient explanations and demonstrations. They did the pre-wiring for all low voltage components...shades, lighting control, security, network/Wi-Fi, automation, audio-visual, etc. Glabman followed up with installation of security, control and automation, audio-visual and network/Wi-Fi. Their crews were friendly, prompt and professional. We asked for some special or unusual things and tweaks of the automation and they accommodated. With the exception of some initial nits with our new generation 8K television, things have worked flawlessly. Glabman worked diligently to resolve the 8K nits and, with their persistence, have succeeded. Having a one stop shop for home control, security, network/Wi-Fi made our lives a lot easier. They have been prompt, responsive and reasonable in all of our service needs since we moved in. read more

I spoke with a woman who twice ensured me someone would call me back and I've heard from no one. I was a marginally satisfied Murray Home Theater customer. After the acquisition Glabman initially did some work BUT when I questioned the bill after the problem reoccurred I was told by the owner, "I bought the assets not the liabilities" of Murray's business. What kind of response is that? He bought the company to get it's customers...those with and those without problems. He immediately tried to sell me a service contract rather than fix the problem. When I had another problem associated with the first problem I called again for service. This time, I did not even get a return phone call. YEP, the vendor "fired" the customer. As a long time business man in the service industry, I can actually say this was the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. I would stay away from them at all costs. read more

Another local company had done the new construction installation of equip in our smart home, yet were virtually unresponsive to program, provide upgrade options or nearly anything else. GTS came to the rescue & was highly responsive as well as very professional. Brian was on point and extremely knowledgeable to provide us with outstanding services, including solutions to original installation issues. Don't trust these guys! I've been a GTS customer for almost 2 years, and like other reviews, found it super difficult to actually get anyone to respond to sales requests. Once I did, and requested a quote to get our Control4 system upgraded, it was a co start battle of overselling me on equipment I didn't need. Since I'm a CEO of an IT company, I knew they were overselling me and could adjust the quote, but 90% of you won't know. Additionally, I asked the sales rep to try to sharpen his pencil on the $300/hr service rate, which is a ridiculous rate, and he responded back "it is what it is", pretty pompous. He escalated to their Operations Director, who called me only to tell me the same exact thing, the price is what it is. So I asked the obvious, why did you call me back if your not going to do anything to get a more reasonable price..."well I just want you to know we care about your business" I laughed and said, so you can't knock off even $500 on a $20,000 quote to keep me from calling a competitor? Nope, we are the best he said and I encourage you to call our competitors. WOW, well, I did and now I'm no longer a GTS nor Control4 customer and have moved to a better installer and the Savant Whole Home Automation system. NOTE: 1 day after I informed GTS that I was obtaining quotes from other dealers, my entire Control4 system stopped working. It may just be a coincidence but the timing is very suspicious. I think Control4 May be a decent enough system for many but the Savant System is Apple based and more intuitive. As far as a dealer, avoid GTS, they haven't demonstrated to me that their culture really is one of Customer Service first. read more

Total flakes and zero customer service!!!! If you ever had any work done by Mike Murray Home Theaters do NOT expect any kind of service from GTS who acquired Mike Murray Home Theater. I was completely blown off by John and even another manager refused to get back to me after 5 separate phone calls to come out and fix the messy work of Mike Murray. For anyone out there that used Mike Murray to only have his tech soon fail after installation or had similar experiences with GTS I highly suggest taking to yelp or any other customer review site to avoid anyone else from being disappointed. The business model seems to be install crap and charge outrageous fees for service calls. After an approx $38,000 install you would hope TV's work in HD, remotes turn on the right TV's, and once on they actually stay on. Future customers beware. read more

I have been a GTS customer since 2016 when they retrofitted my c.1958 home with a Control 4 smart home system for AV and security. Brian Glabman was referred to me and came with an impressive portfolio of luxury residential and commercial projects. He and his team are pros with the technology and came with thoughtful solutions and responsive service, so much so that I had them install a far more comprehensive C4 system in a 4,800 SF new home we just finished in June 2020. In that job they coordinated with my contractor (Sailhouse Homes) and electrician (Boyer) during framing to plan out the pre-wiring and performed their work as one of the most reliable subcontractors we had on the job. They were as thorough as I could have asked for, helping me configure numerous streaming platforms, apps, DirectTV, security and internet service. They maintain a configuration of my system for remote updates and diagnosis of issues that arise, and have been responsive to add-ons and tweaks to the system as we have fine tuned our needs. Make no mistake, C4 is a comprehensive system that isn't for everyone, but if this is the system you want GTS is an excellent choice. read more

I was completely impressed with GTS. I recently had a security system installed at my home and I must say that the technicians that came out were very professional in their appearance and interaction with me. The installation process a breeze, they explained everything to me in detail and when I asked questions they addressed each and every one of them without hesitation. It makes me sad that I have no choice left but to place this review about this company. I hired them to install a very complicated in-home theater system. They were great about the installation and I love my system. But I've had issues with some components not working and when I tried to get someone to come out and fix the problem, they have consistently blown me off. After six weeks of attempting to make an appointment I finally received an email from the owner saying they no longer support the system they installed and that I'd be better off finding another company who works on this particular system. This was after a few emails from him telling me they're really backed up and will try to get me on the schedule. If anyone can recommend a company who installs TV systems and can help me get the sound working on my DVD player and X-Box, please do. I've been without sound for almost two months now. read more
