I came here to support a local women owned business for women's history month. It's a small bakery in downtown Rochester Hills located in the alley behind Main Street. Staff were friendly and helpful. I picked out a few treats to share with my women's group. I got a few treats for myself and I definitely want to come back and try some other items. I got a pistachio eclair. It was good but the inside cream was a little runny side. I would have liked to taste more of the cream but it all dripped out each time I bit into it. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their selection of bakery treats.

Heard about this bakery through the word of the mouth. We stopped here on the way for some Paint Creek trail walking. Place is welcoming and tidy and well located. Bread aroma is in the air, smiley faces behind the counter. My wife and I sat down for coffee and almond croissant. We liked the ambience and enjoyed our bite and sip. Left with a loaf of bread. At home, did an open face sandwich. Brie, slice of tomato, light salt, pepper, slice of pickle. That sandwich was excellent. Will return in August when my tomatoes are in season for more perfect meal.

This place is a such a gem. My sweetie and i love to visit and take our goodies for a walk in the park. We love the chocolate almond croissants and quiche. The cookies , coffee, and bread are all excellent. The women that work there are all so kind .

SO GOOD! The almond croissant and fruit tarts were the favorite. The staff is SO nice. Great location - we got our goods and walked to the park to enjoy. I'll be back.

Always go here for my favorite almond croissants. Today I bought a ham and cheese croissant and some cookies. I also bought a Leon glazed loaf wand butternut squash soup. I will try those later. The chocolate earthquake cookies are awesome! Wish they weren't. Now they are going to be on my mind! So delicious and unusual because they are crusty outside and soft chocolate very rich inside! A great unique cookie to buy and bring to someone who loves chocolate. The other cookie is there special of the week which is a pumpkin snickerdoodle. Delicious.

Dogs are allowed inside (disgusting), coffee is so/so. the baked goods can be stale at times and the help can be a bit odious.

I found them a few weeks ago when I did a search of stores who actually sell loose leaf tea. The reason I like loose leaf tea versus the garbage sold in the stores is because it comes out way more flavorful, stronger and seems to taste a lot better than the stuff they sell at the grocery. I am also shocked that nobody else has been here before, as I know a few tea drinker who also happen to be active yelpers. Interesting. Anyway, the place is easy to find and right off fourth street and visible from the road. There is street parking, but a parking garage is literally right there on the other side of the street if you need it. As you know, downtown Rochester can get busy at times, so easy places to park is important. Walking in, not only is this place a tea store, but it also sells spices. They also have a ton of cool accessories to choose from throughout, which was really super cool to look at. I've also been on the hunt for the individual honey sticks that seem to be hard to find. Not only do they have the honey sticks, but they came in a variety of flavors? Like flavored honey? Exciting! I just grabbed a packet of regular honey sticks which are sitting in my kitchen now. The spice area has a much larger selection of items, from different varieties of salt, but other seasonings as well. I didn't really study the selection as the place was busy but let me tell you, there's a lot! I went to the tea section and they have all sorts of teas to choose from. I wanted something more citrus/lemon/herbal since I have a sinus infection, but I also wanted to see what else they have. Great selection, pre bagged but make sure you have the steeper's at home. If not, they sell them here too. Service was great, and the staff was knowledgeable. Nobody asked me if I needed help or followed me around the store, but when I did talk to them at check out, these people really seem to be tea oriented and educated on the product. While they aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination (more along the lines of Starbucks pricing) they are worth every penny. I will be back in the future and I wish they did a better job of advertising!

There was a bit of a wait for the patio area as they weren't expecting the people to stay as long as they did, but once we got seated, service was excellent and the atmosphere was great and I would definitely go back here again

The people working here seemed nice, but I do not love paying 3% to use my card for tiny donuts. That really puts the price a bit above what I want to pay. The place is super cute with a couple tables to sit. I like that they have fun coffee drinks and dirty sodas. We had a honey cold brew, it was far, probably a 2. I would consider trying a dirty soda next time. The donuts were a 5. We eat had two. The donuts tasted like cider mill donuts, a bit dense, but freshly made, sweet with a slight crunch. I loved the toppings. I got M&M and lucky charms marshmallows. So good. We also got peanut butter, peanut butter and jelly, and butterfinger. I recommend all of the them. I will probably return and bring my other child next time. When you walk in, you are greeted with bright, lively colors, sweet smells, and a hum of noise coming from Papa Joe's. We were there after the morning rush so it wasn't busy. We were greeted by a young woman behind the counter that displayed a multitude of small donuts decorated in over a dozen ways. We chose to get a box of 6 to share along with S'mores Cold Brew iced coffees. Our 6 "funkadelic" choices were named: Magically Delicious, Raspberry Lemonade, Raspberry Truffle, Robert Brule, Heath, Wind, and Fire, and Salted caramel Macchiato. I was most excited for the Magically Delicious because it was topped with what looked like Lucky Charms marshmallows but they were not the same kind and the mushy consistency fell flat. Both raspberry donuts were flavored as described in their names and tasted really good. The Robert Bruce is a play on a crème brûlée dessert and they complete the donut when ordered so it has a wonderfully crunchy top. The last 2 were good but I couldn't really taste the salted caramel of the Macchiato one. I love the concept here because you can try a couple different flavors without wasting food or having dried up hockey pucks the next day. I'd like to try more flavors so we'll be back. Warning to those cashless crusaders - they do tack on a 3% fee for using credit so tapper beware.
