She gives a lot of personal attention and pushes you just enough to get a good workout without leaving you totally unable to move the next day. :). This is the only exercise class that I have found that I actually enjoy. She encourages me to push past my natural laziness and the hour flies by, but the next day I can definitely feel that I've done something! The atmosphere is relaxed and the women in the classes are all ages, sizes and fitness levels. I highly recommend Hourglass Pilates.

Each class was wonderful, as was each instructor. I'm new to Pilates - before Heartcore I had only gone to/done two studio classes fifteen years ago + a few YouTube (mat) Pilates videos over the years - so I was very nervous starting out. Each instructor made me feel welcome and very supported. In addition, when I first started taking classes, I spoke with Katie, the owner of the studio, over email many times (to schedule classes), and she was so helpful and very quick to respond. The studio itself is spacious and very clean (including the bathrooms). Also, Heartcore has no "surprises" - something I very much appreciate; all policies are posted on their website, so everything that prospective + current students need to know is there. People may need to set reminders for themselves about things - an upcoming class they registered for, the need to bring grippy socks to class (which they do sell in the studio), when to cancel your registration to a class if you won't be able to make it, etc. - but that is to be expected at almost every establishment/business. I've been a member here for just about a month, and I don't foresee myself ending my membership anytime soon (barring a faraway move or something). I look forward to each class, and I'm so excited to keep going. I love this studio!

The people who work here are real humans that care about the clients who walk through the door. 99% of the time you will receive a smile and welcome greeting as you enter. Equipment is always in working order and clean, the pools are always available, the locker rooms are tidy, and there are always fresh towels. This did not make sense to us, especially because the massage therapist had a dog present. I also developed a rash after using the pool. After speaking with my doctor, I was advised that it appeared related to the pool conditions and that I should stay away from it. This club is overpriced, poorly managed, and not worth the money. I strongly recommend staying away.

I have arthritis in my neck and tendinitis in my Achilles along with the other aches and pains of being overweight. After the first session with Elisabeth, I was amazed at how easy it was to move again. Muscles and joints were a lot happier after they were stretched a little bit. Elisabeth is very knowledgeable and works within the instructions provided by the doctor and physical therapist to make sure I am stretching and exercising correctly to help facilitate the healing and to keep me from hurting myself. If you need/want to start exercising I would highly recommend Elisabeth and Pilates. It is not aerobic exercises but definitely stretches and builds your strength.

I would come back and give a different instructor a try but I am honestly not happy that an overweight person was targeted. I work out at another Pilates studio in town ( sweat fitness) and they have never made me feel uncomfortable.
