Amazing staff! My son needed his favorite basketball shoes repaired prior to leaving on an international trip with his team. He had them tear at the last minute during his practice. They had 2 days before he flew out and they made it happen! We have also brought boots for polishing and my husband's Georgia work boots for restitching. Working in construction he is very hard on them and a couple pairs have torn only after a few months of use. One pair had the heel part (heel counter) tear from the calf back quarter material (leather "upper") And another pair had the toebox separate from the rubber (midsole) Their work holds up under rigorous use. This is a great boot repair shop. The owner is super nice and great at what he does. I brought in work boots that had the stitching coming apart. He got them triple-stitched back up and even oiled them for me for just $18. Don't put too much stock in the one negative review. There are a couple reviews that got filtered out into the "not currently recommended" category too... Those are also 5 star reviews. I brought my well-loved Frye harness boots in to be re-heeled. He did beautiful work. The heel rubber part that hits the ground is Vibram, and he polished (oiled?) them up and they look just beautiful. I didn't ask for them to be polished but he did it anyways! All only for $20! We were in Bend and I dropped off my sandals to be repaired. I do not live in the Bend area. I contacted Forrest in late January to pay him and have him ship my sandals to me so I would have them in time to leave for our Hawai'i vacation on February 5. My sandals did not arrive before we left. I called him and he had completely forgotten. They were not waiting for me when we returned home on February 14. I called him again and he said he would send them out right away. I called again Monday, February 20; Forrest said I should have them and he would check the tracking information. I brought in two pairs of shoes that I had used while working as a bank teller/asst. manager for several years. The stitching was unraveling in the same place on the right shoe only of both pairs. Even though I am now retired I really loved these shoes. They are so comfortable for walking and standing and they are not bad looking either. I was quoted a price and sent on my way. He re-soled them, cut them down, and added a loop on the back (which I didn't think to ask for, but makes them super cute and easy to get on!)
