The food is very good. Very casual dress. The whole atmosphere is casual, laidback and friendly. Customers talk to each other a lot. Sometimes they walk around and talk. Sometimes they just talk to each other while sitting at their table. It's not loud, it's just laidback and friendly.
Many of the customers are from the local area but anybody can strike up a conversation, you don't have to know one another. Everybody gets treated the same. I love that. Likewise if you didn't get something you want, just treat it like it's home and ask for what you need. It'll be brought with a smile and often a question of did I forget anything else (said with a smile)?
Everything I've ever ordered has been very good. I love their side salad. I ordered a steak or hamburger steak and(can't remember which it was that 1st time I got a salad) the side salad, I promise, was in a bowl that I would use as a serving bowl at my house. There was cheese, etc, with the tastiest tomatoes. Don't get those much anymore. They said the tomatoes were locally grown.
Ok. It's a mom and pop grill off the beaten path. But you know what. I'm so darned grateful it's off the beaten path that leads only a mile or so away from my house. Oh yeah! Almost forgot. If you want something done different. Just ask. If it's anywhere near reasonable I'll bet you that you get just what you are after. Don't take that bet because I'll win! Lol!
Somebody said that the sweet tea was really good. Yeah. It certainly is. When my husband and I go there to eat I know that he drinks a minimum of a quart and don't count the ice as a part of the volume. He's going to be on the 3rd glass by the time we start eating. That's going to be about 10 or 15 minutes later. Like the lady said about the tea, it's GOOD! I really hope y'all will Try it. You won't be disappointed. read more
