I had a fantastic experience working with Thane on a big tailoring order a few weeks ago…read more I had 7 or so suits that needed various levels of adjustments, mostly simple stuff like shortening sleeves, hemming pants, and taking in the width on a few blazers. However, I also had one blazer that I purchased at an online tailor company that came out very wonky in the shoulders. Thane was able to perform surgery on it and perfectly fix the issues. He got everything done on a tight timeframe too, and put in extra work to get it all exact. Beyond that, he was a pleasure to chat with and very professional. The whole project came to a little over $1000, which I think was reasonable given the quantity and quality of work done. I especially don't think anyone else could have fixed the shoulders on that one blazer, so it effectively saved me the value of losing out on an entire suit jacket.

Suits and shirts fitted perfectly and just needed to get the pants hemmed, which they did same day, since I was from out of town. She also offered great suggestions on shirt and tie combos for a variety of occasions...way better than anything I would have come up with. Service: Let me start on walking in the store. I've been through Jos A Bank's and other suit places throughout NYC and Syracuse, and this Jos A Bank doesn't force any sales on you. Their attention to detail and honesty makes them so different from these other suit places. The sales people here are very attentive, honest, and take their time with every customer from the beginning to the end. The entire staff knows their stuff and are very patient and friendly! Makes the whole process so easy! Pricing: 2 suits for $199? Are you kidding me? The quality is not even bad for this price, I've had mine for the past year, and no damages. Just don't be careless and take care of your suits. They also had a clearance sale of $90, but I know the standard pricing for a suit is $199, which is still not bad! Compared to renting which is about the same price and you actually get to keep it. Alterations: Very convenient to have expert tailors that carry suits and they're fair priced! Everyone was very patient with me, willing to tailor and re-tailor until the suit was perfect. Both Tiffany and Shannon took the time to get all my measurements correct. I had the sleeves of the jacket adjusted and taken in at the waist. They also tapered my pants and gave me a half break. I was impressed that they had no problem when I requested having darts added to my dress shirt. I have requested this at other tailors and they have flat out refused. Picked up my suit today and it looks great! Thanks for the hard work and attention to detail. I mean the hemming are just $10. Side adjustments on the jackets are $20, etc. very honest in what alterations you need, and at the same time, not pushy about it. Turnaround time is very reasonable, and may even do same day hemming! As long as you don't catch them at their busy days. But the average is about a week. So make sure to get your alterations ahead of time just in case! Don't slack and wait last minute, their busy business just says something about their quality services. Thanks for taking care of me for the past year! While Corey was helping us she sat at a desk on her phone and ignored another customer that came into the store. That customer eventually left. Corey had to go over because an item was not ringing up correctly to the sign that stated the item was on sale. She came over and said "I know what the sign say, but they are not on sale .. I guess I will honor it" as if she was doing us a favor with poor attitude. I do not have her name, but corporate should talk to her about her customer skills, especially as a manager. I needed a suit for my brother's wedding, but I was only going to be in town for 10 days. I ended up finding a suit that I thought was perfect, but they didn't have the pants in my size at the store. Also, the jacket would need to be tailored to fit me properly. I was convinced that they'd have to ship the suit to me, seeing as though I'd be gone in just a few days. I had just accepted that fact. Imagine my surprise then when I got a call from Ron shortly thereafter, telling me that my pants had arrived and were ready to pick up! When I went in to get my pants, I spoke with Hong, who was tailoring my jacket. When I had explained to him my situation, he told me he'd try his best to get my fitted jacket to me before I had to leave. Again, I wasn't expecting a miracle, and was prepared to just have my jacket shipped to me. I received another call THE NEXT DAY! It was Hong, who, true to his word, worked hard to get my jacket tailored and ready to pick up in record time! All and all, the staff at this Men's Wearhouse went above and beyond for me! My dad (father of the bride) went to pick his tux up when it arrived for the wedding and the jacket size was about 3 sizes too small. They said they would send out to get a new one. Well the new one didn't arrive until late morning on my wedding day and my dad had to drive from Sylvan Beach to New Hartford to pick it up, and missed out on important moments and photos from my wedding day because of it. And the female manager was extremely rude to him when he went to pick it up, acting like it was his fault they ordered the wrong size! I had not been to a Kohl's since high school, and WOW, they have really upped their game! At first…read moreglance, it looked like any of the standard Kohl's stores I've driven past. But once I got inside, I was really impressed. To start, there were large hand sanitizer jugs in full view and conveniently placed next to the shopping carts right inside the doors for customers to use. There was a very kind lady physically wiping down each cart which looked a lot like baby strollers. Because I seem to have lost all social skills during this pandemic, my inner monologue was apparently more of an outer monologue. When the lady heard me say, "baby stroller," she took the time to point out and explain the difference between the two shopping cart styles offered. It turns out one of them really was a baby stroller. As I navigated the interior of the store I was in awe of the mini Sephora-like skincare and beauty section. The Kohl's of yore that I'm used to didn't have this and I felt that it really added to a more luxurious Kohl's shopping experience, which I'm pretty sure is sort of an oxymoron. The men's department had a huge selection of Levi's which was neat and well-displayed. Due to COVID protocols, all of the dressing rooms are closed off, so some guesstimating of sizes was needed. The shoe selection was great. I purposely flew past it because, in all honesty, shoes are my weakness. Even so I was able to see a great selection of leisure footwear/sneakers like Van's, Adidas, and Nike. Every section was neat and tidy, and I absolutely gushed over all of the touchless price check scanners available. As has been established, I've become pretty socially awkward during this pandemic and felt the presence of the scanners really added to the peace of my shopping experience via less interactions. When it came time to make my purchases, the cash registers had an announcer system which called out which register was free. There was even an employee directing customers to the proper lines. I saw that between customers, each register station, all of which had plastic screens, was wiped down before the next customer was allowed to approach. When it was my turn, the employee scanned my items and then said, "Let me check if there are any coupons you can use towards this purchase." She then pulled out a Kohl's smartphone and very adeptly swiped and scanned her phone giving me a discount. I'd also like to add that all of the customers wore their masks appropriately. Zero chin straps meant zero anxiety for me.
