One thing to know when ordering: you'll be asked whether you want a side salad or an extra piece of bread. My advice? Get the side salad! The extra piece of bread is very tiny, so you're much better off with the salad. Now, let's talk about the food, because my dinner was AMAZING. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the breaded chicken was light and crisp, and that white wine sauce was absolutely decadent. Every bite was delicious, and I honestly feel like I found my go-to dish here on my very first visit! My husband loved the onion rings, too. His only complaint was that there were just four of them. They were pretty large, so it's not like they were tiny portions, but a couple more would have been nice. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner, and I'm so glad our friends introduced us to Romero's. There are several other things on the menu I'd like to try, but when you find something this good on your first visit, it's hard not to want to order it again! One thing at the end of the meal that I wasn't a fan of is the way they bring the bill out. They don't bring a receipt to show you what the charges are and give you opportunity to review. The portions are typically huge and worth the price! The only feedback I can give that stopped this from being a 5* review is that often they are missing ingredients for certain dishes. Last time it was Caesar dressing, one time it was the Italian sausage, and the list goes on. They have a chalk board at the front to show you what items/ingredients they are out of for the day. Regardless, there are enough great recipes that you can absolutely find something that will be just as great.
