The food took forever. Our server was very nice, however his english was extremely limited so it was a bit difficult to asks questions, and basically just says yes or no without real understanding. Our food took nearly an hour to come out, so if this is a place you're looking for a quick meal, it might not be your best option. But it could be just us that got slow service. There was a large party of 6+ seated at the other end and they got their food before us, which was only a party of 2. We had order the mozzarella tringles, which was supposed to be a house made mozzarella but what came out was not "housemade mozzarella" nor "triangles" like listed on the menu, rather they were standard frozen mozzarella sticks. We were told that they do not use fresh mozzarella and it was all processed, but then again i don't know if the server truly understood us when we asked. Then we ordered a small classic deep dish plain cheese pizza. The taste was not great. Sauce was dry on top. The dough tasted like freezer burn. The cheese tasted on stale refrigerator aroma. We also ordered the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli, we barely ate half the dish, barely a quarter. The chicken looked of chopped factory grilled chicken, spongy and artificial. The sauce was barely there too. It was mostly dry pasta. Whatever the sauce was, tasted more like the cheap $1 knorr side packets of alfredo, which is basically pasta water. The atmosphere is nice, and the server was nice but the food was not good at all or of the expected from what is hyped on their instagram and online menu. read more

This weekend we did a stay-cation at a Orlando hotel. Such a fun thing can be magnified in how fun it is with great food ordered in. With some debate, we decided on pizza in the hotel room. As we are both fans of Chicago Pizza(as we are fans of many kinds of pizza), we were excited to see Giordano's was close to our hotel. We thought about picking up but since the agreed to make it to us we did just that. It arrived piping hot! That can be rare in pizza delivered on a Saturday night, so we took note. The pizza was very good, and very classically Chicago in nature. The crust was thick and solid on the bottom. I love NY pizza too, but its nice to be able to pick up a piece with just one hand. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce tangy and rich, and the cheese was gooey awesome. It was on odd feeling, not having ate a Chicago pizza in some time, to be sorta full as I was half way through my somewhat small 2nd piece. There is just so much more in the depths of a slice. First off the girl who finally answered the phone was so unknowledgeable and actually hung up without saying thank you for calling or goodbye - when we said "we needed a few more minutes to look over the menu and we would call her back... "click"... So we ordered food and unknowingly because she was so inept she didn't tell me it was going to be over an hour to get a pizza and it was past ten o'clock to begin with... When I got there I knew exactly what had happened - I actually called it! One of the pizzas and the two garlic breads we're going to be ice cold while the small deep dish pizza I ordered was burnt on top and raw in the middle disgusting and chewy and wet! The other pizza spent so much time in the heating box that the bottom was chewy and the crust cracked like it was old and air dried! Some moron manager offered to make a new bread but what he did was reheated the same crap that he told me he wasn't going to so the bread was more like croutons with zero flavor! If I can give this place not even zero stars but negative stars it would be an understatement! Also the place looks totally disgusting they had no togo plates and they were pretty rude about that - apparently the same annoying tween from the phone call earlier! Some 60+ year old looking prostitute asking for several times for beer loudly, who was barefoot and had hands like mechanic was getting full attention - while my stuff was late and cold! To boot - this old lady reached into her crotchal area of her spandex bicycle shorts and pulled out a handful of debit/gift cards and started handing them one by one asking to check them for money... Skeeeved out and very happy I always carry concealed - I walked out with perhaps the WORST PIZZA and SERVICE HANDS DOWN EVER! Walked in on Friday evening and ordered Italian sub to go. Paid and waited outside for 20 minutes. Went back in to get order, and employee says we are out of sandwich. No manager to make things right, no care about their error, it's clear this business fails to consider their clients and making good on their mistake. How hard is it for kitchen to let cashiers know of outage ?? How do run a pizza place but run out of the rather normal and mundane Italian ingredients ?? Oh ya the waiter says. I knew for sure it was a 14" and had suspicion on a previous visit. So we asked for a box and I stopped the server and asked him to include the circle in the box. So he tries to slide the pizza in and looked at me with a surprised nervous look on his face and he says, You are right. Sure enough the box which even says on the bottom of the box it is a 14". So I politely asked to be charged correctly and to see the manager. The manager refused to come out and took $3 off the bill and it should have been $4.70 off. It's not the money, it's the principle! Tonight my daughter and I ordered a deep dish pizza at 8:30pm for delivery. We were given a 10:06-10:16 window for delivery. At 10:13 the restaurant called and said our pizza was on the way and should be delivered in about 10 minutes. At 10:40pm I called the restaurant and was placed on hold for 33 minutes. I NEVER was able to speak with a manager- I was told they were dealing with another customer. Our pizza was finally delivered at 11:24pm. It was cold and was delivered without the plates and utensils I requested. I'm sure the pizza would have been delicious IF it had been hot, or even warm; however we will not know. Almost a 3 hour time frame from ordering until delivery is ridiculous. This was very disappointing. Great customer service! Ordered food on Door Dash. The food was over 2 hours late. We were given a full refund for our food. We were told they had no drivers to delver the food. The restaurant personally delivered the food and apologized. Due to the pandemic and the reopening, the demand has been so high that their drivers were inundated with orders. They could not keep up and that is understandable because a lot of companies including our own have been really busy. They didn't have to deliver the food knowing they were not going to get paid. Gotta love the deep dish pizza, but on a sweltering day and in a restaurant that wasn't very cool (temp) made it a bit unpleasant. Not throwing shade on the joint as service was good and friendly and the pizza came out right on time and was super delicious. Giordano is a famous Pizza Chain from Chicago. It is well known for its Deep Dish Pizza based on a old family recipe from Italy. It has a two crusts with Cheese between them. Disney Park goers know if they want a good pizza Giordano is a great place to try. So why did I rate it Two Stars when it could have been Five Stars? I would give the Pizza a Five Star Rating. Service a Two Star Rating. Cleanliness of the restaurant a One Star Rating. The pizza came out and was fantastic. It had lots of cheese stuffed between the two crusts. It was full of the ingredients we ordered. We ordered a small for two of us and we were hungry and still had leftovers. This restaurant could and should be cleaner. The Pizza Plate Stand has crumbs and sauce on it. If had noticed it before I ordered I would have left for another restaurant. Before our pizza came I asked a worker to switch out the stand because it was dirty. He walked over to the "clean" table next to us reached out for the stand. It was dirty as well. He stopped and walked over to another table and brought over the stand. He left the other dirty (I can see leftover food on it from seven feet away) rack on the table. The floor was grimy in spots. The bathroom looked clean. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports. You could probably see one from any seat. The sound for the TV above our table was on but it was just at a whisper. I would not go to this location due to it not being clean. I would try another one of their locations. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. The thin crust and extra thin crust tastes like the cardboard they're served on. Absolutely no flavoring in the crust. I ordered a medium thin crust with mushrooms and jalapeños. The jalapeños were only in the center of my pizza and the mushrooms were nonexistent. My girlfriend got a small extra thin crust with green peppers and mushrooms easy on the sauce. The green peppers tastes like green beans, the mushrooms were nonexistent, and her dough tasted cold and frozen. My friend wasn't allowed to order off the children's menu even though she just recently had surgery and is unable to eat a normal adult meal. They forced her to buy something more than she can eat. We ordered take out this evening when we got into town. Our food was ready quickly for pickup. The Italian beef sandwich was quite tasty. As close to a Chicago beef as we've had in years. The two salads were fresh and the Caesar dressing was really good. The cheesy garlic bread was tasty. Nothing was over the top amazing but it was good quality and filled our bellies.
