    Tonkotsu Ramen

This was a carry out; I wasn't able to get the full dine in experience this time. Clean and relaxing atmosphere and a decent amount of seating. Staff was friendly as well. They don't have a pork gyoza but the veggie kind was pretty good. The broth was flavorful but I think I would ask for it to be more spicy next time. I would also probably go without the corn. You get half an egg and two pieces of pork belly. The noodles were stuck together but I blame myself for that since it was a carry out. It was A solid meal, I will dine in next time and customize it a bit.

Nice ramen place The service was so nice! Our waitress was very friendly and on top of anything we needed. The food was delicious! The gyoza was deep fried which I wasn't used to but it added a nice extra crunch. Cabbage is included with the purchase of an entree. Inside is clean and well kept. We were sat right away and there's tons of seating if you want a more private area. Very cute!

Cute store front. They have a food display of some of their menu items in the front like many restaurants do in Japan. We got the seafood ramen and Ginza ramen with spice on the side. Nothing really stood out to me. Flavors were pretty mid in my opinion. Fried oysters were pretty soft still on the inside and would have preferred them to be cooked more thoroughly. Overall, food was just okay.

TLDR: For those who have eaten ramen at many restaurants, this ramen is fine. Service was good for those who care about it. The meal started with a simple shredded cabbage salad, nothing to write home about. The takoyaki was a little too doughy, though it was saved by having two pieces of octopus per ball. Oddly, the restaurant chose to put the sauce over the fish flakes, resulting in a soggy mess of a topping. The sauce normally goes underneath in order to preserve the texture of the fish flakes. The ramen itself was fine. The broth, which usually determines the quality of the ramen, had nothing of note to it. The egg was well made, and the chashu (pork belly) was okay as well. Way too much corn and green onion was added, which acted more as filler than actual toppings. I would come back if I was looking for a close option for ramen.

I had the chicken ramen and ordered shredded cabbage on the side - it adds a nice fresh crunch. The broth in the chicken ramen was great!!! My daughter had the pork tonkotsu ramen and she loved it. The drink was SO goood- it was very sweet but it was tasty the waitress explained it like a sprite with blueberry . The waitress was nice, the food was hot and came in a decent amount of time, the ambiance is cozy. I've had more authentic tasting ramen and I loved this broth

Good food, the server was very friendly, and the place was spacious and fairly low-key. My only (minor/personal preference) complaint was that they were already playing Christmas music on November 13th lol

Horrible service. Came in and was seated then proceeded to wait 10+ minutes for someone to approach our table. No one did so I went up to the front and asked if we order at the counter or the table. The server came and said "I thought the other girl took your order". Our order is taken and while we wait we see another server take our food to a different table. The customers at that table say this is not ours and she brings it over. When questioned, the server replies "I didn't read the paper" no apology no acknowledgment of mistake. Gave two stars only because of the food being yummy. Otherwise it would've 0 stars if possible.

As a frequent visitor of their Rochester HIlls location, I was so excited to learn that they opened a location in Clinton Township. This turned a 30 minute drive into a much shorter one. This is one of my wife's and I favorite restaurants in the area. They're still in the hiring phase but that didn't impact their service! We mainly get it for take out since we're pretty close, but recently had the chance to sit in and they were just attentive here as they were at the other location. The place was quiet when we got there, as they just recently opened, there were probably 3 other tables occupied at the time. We both ordered ramen, her the chicken and I usually get either the miso, tonkatsu or shoyu one. I always get an extra marinated egg cause I love eggs You can also add a katsu to your order as a bit of extra protein (fish, chicken or pork). Any of the 3 is amazing due to the breading. In any case, you can customize your order with tons of different add-ons They also serve korean fried chicken, which I get occasionally. Hesitate to recommend this place because I rather not have it super busy, but I also much rather this place stay open, so consider it recommended!

The dining area is filled with TVs and the music is a bit louder, which honestly worked in our favor. It helped mask the occasional kid meltdown and kept everyone entertained. For the kids, we ordered two chicken nugget meals with fries and a kids' cheese pizza. The nuggets were a little on the peppery side for younger taste buds, so we ended up pulling some of the breading off--but overall still a decent option. My husband ordered the Sunshine Burger and I went with the classic cheeseburger. Since it was Monday, we took advantage of their $10.99 burger special, which made it an even better deal. Both burgers were surprisingly really good--we don't usually order burgers when dining out, but these were absolutely worth it. Overall, Bubba's 33 is a solid, family-friendly spot with good food and a laid-back atmosphere. We'd definitely recommend it, especially for an easy night out with kids.

What i did notice was my friend order a side salad for additional $1.99 but her friend ordered a salad as meal which cost about $15.00 - i would say they looked like the same size; so be aware. Plenty of parking! If i had to go back i'll definitely would but the distance from my house i wouldn't go out my way. There are ALOT of TVs with music videos and sports; you can barely hear the music playing which is good i guess especially since you want to be able to touch to your friends. Happy Eating!

I called the restaurant and was told my order was ready and just waiting to be picked up. The thing is my GrubHub driver was already at the store and was being told (BY THE SAME STAFF) that the order wasn't ready yet. I called the restaurant back and re-explained the situation and was told the order wasn't ready and they were waiting on a salad. I'm no chef but how do you wait on food you don't have to cook? I'm am extremely put off by the lack of communication. Unless this food tastes like a drop of heaven I will not be ordering from here again. Just tried to the food and was very disappointed. I spent $8.99 on cold Mac Daddy Mac N Cheese that had less flavor than Kraft. Both of the Bacon Mac N Cheese Burgers I ordered were incredibly overcooked and over priced. My burger was so burnt bits of char were stuck to the bun (as seen in photo). The Italian Stallion Salad was the only good part of the order. If you do order from here stick with something that doesn't need to be cooked like the salad. Definitely won't be ordering from here again, thankfully my journey to Flavortown was round trip.

What I got for a burger was a bun with dry macaroni noodles, onions, pickles and a very dry beef patty. No bacon, no donkey sauce, no super melty cheese, no lettuce and no tomatoes... This is a $13 burger. There was also some black thing on the bottom... I don't know if this was supposed to be one of the items missing but it was jet black, rubbery and no thicker than a piece of cheese... Absolutely disgusting looking (I wouldn't even dare taste it.) I doubt I would ever recommend this place to anyone. Being a Guy Fieri chain, I expected so much more.

Originally a farmhouse, a basement was dug out in the early 1900s to create a bar. The ceiling is only six feet high, and is smaller than the average basement. During Prohibition, it operated as a speakeasy. In 1933, it became the first establishment in Macomb County to receive a liquor license. From that point on, it officially went by Eastside Tavern. The tavern is now run by fourth-generation owner, Heather DeBruyn. No one has lived in the house since 2017, but "the basement bar" is alive and well. Since its opening, Eastside Tavern has featured a limited food menu. The burger is the most popular menu item, often hailed as one of the best in Macomb County. There are a few variations on the menu, all made with a half-pound patty. The bologna sandwich is another popular item. My personal favorite is the quesadilla. All sandwiches come with a basket of chips, and pepperoncinis are available upon request. The chip and pepperoncini combo is jokingly referred to as a "salad bar." The history and vibes make Eastside Tavern one of a kind. Live music takes place every Saturday, and raffles are occasionally held on Wednesdays. When you go, be sure to ask to see the apron.
