    Tonkotsu Ramen

This was a carry out; I wasn't able to get the full dine in experience this time. Clean and relaxing atmosphere and a decent amount of seating. Staff was friendly as well. They don't have a pork gyoza but the veggie kind was pretty good. The broth was flavorful but I think I would ask for it to be more spicy next time. I would also probably go without the corn. You get half an egg and two pieces of pork belly. The noodles were stuck together but I blame myself for that since it was a carry out. It was A solid meal, I will dine in next time and customize it a bit.

Nice ramen place The service was so nice! Our waitress was very friendly and on top of anything we needed. The food was delicious! The gyoza was deep fried which I wasn't used to but it added a nice extra crunch. Cabbage is included with the purchase of an entree. Inside is clean and well kept. We were sat right away and there's tons of seating if you want a more private area. Very cute!

Cute store front. They have a food display of some of their menu items in the front like many restaurants do in Japan. We got the seafood ramen and Ginza ramen with spice on the side. Nothing really stood out to me. Flavors were pretty mid in my opinion. Fried oysters were pretty soft still on the inside and would have preferred them to be cooked more thoroughly. Overall, food was just okay.

TLDR: For those who have eaten ramen at many restaurants, this ramen is fine. Service was good for those who care about it. The meal started with a simple shredded cabbage salad, nothing to write home about. The takoyaki was a little too doughy, though it was saved by having two pieces of octopus per ball. Oddly, the restaurant chose to put the sauce over the fish flakes, resulting in a soggy mess of a topping. The sauce normally goes underneath in order to preserve the texture of the fish flakes. The ramen itself was fine. The broth, which usually determines the quality of the ramen, had nothing of note to it. The egg was well made, and the chashu (pork belly) was okay as well. Way too much corn and green onion was added, which acted more as filler than actual toppings. I would come back if I was looking for a close option for ramen.

I had the chicken ramen and ordered shredded cabbage on the side - it adds a nice fresh crunch. The broth in the chicken ramen was great!!! My daughter had the pork tonkotsu ramen and she loved it. The drink was SO goood- it was very sweet but it was tasty the waitress explained it like a sprite with blueberry . The waitress was nice, the food was hot and came in a decent amount of time, the ambiance is cozy. I've had more authentic tasting ramen and I loved this broth

Good food, the server was very friendly, and the place was spacious and fairly low-key. My only (minor/personal preference) complaint was that they were already playing Christmas music on November 13th lol

Horrible service. Came in and was seated then proceeded to wait 10+ minutes for someone to approach our table. No one did so I went up to the front and asked if we order at the counter or the table. The server came and said "I thought the other girl took your order". Our order is taken and while we wait we see another server take our food to a different table. The customers at that table say this is not ours and she brings it over. When questioned, the server replies "I didn't read the paper" no apology no acknowledgment of mistake. Gave two stars only because of the food being yummy. Otherwise it would've 0 stars if possible.

Ramen with extra marinated egg + Pork Katsu

As a frequent visitor of their Rochester HIlls location, I was so excited to learn that they opened a location in Clinton Township. This turned a 30 minute drive into a much shorter one. This is one of my wife's and I favorite restaurants in the area. They're still in the hiring phase but that didn't impact their service! We mainly get it for take out since we're pretty close, but recently had the chance to sit in and they were just attentive here as they were at the other location. The place was quiet when we got there, as they just recently opened, there were probably 3 other tables occupied at the time. We both ordered ramen, her the chicken and I usually get either the miso, tonkatsu or shoyu one. I always get an extra marinated egg cause I love eggs You can also add a katsu to your order as a bit of extra protein (fish, chicken or pork). Any of the 3 is amazing due to the breading. In any case, you can customize your order with tons of different add-ons They also serve korean fried chicken, which I get occasionally. Hesitate to recommend this place because I rather not have it super busy, but I also much rather this place stay open, so consider it recommended!

The place is clean and well decorated albeit a bit dark inside for the middle of the day. Our server was cassandra and she was wonderful throughout our lunch. My friend isn't well versed on sushi, and I tend to be a bit more knowledgeable so between myself and Cassandra we helped them out ordering. What I really liked was their lunch specials they have Monday through Saturday for a wonderful price. I got the basic lunch box which came with salad, miso soup, 5 nigiri and the chefs choice on sushi rolls. For $17, I got a ton of food! The food itself was really generous and freshly made. I did dock a star for two seperate reasons. First, the menu was impossible to read due to the extremely small font and dark lighting. We had to use the flashlights on our phone to read the descriptions. Second, the crab rangoon was good, but could've been better. Did I like it? yes. Could it have been larger and less overcooked tasting? Also yes. Prices are competitive here and I'd like to go back and try the hibachi if possible. Overall a great experience and the meal was tasty.

The interior has a beautiful design which references Japan's Edo period. The food here has always been amazing, richly seasoned, and cooked exactly to my liking. There are options for sitting at the hibachi table or in the dining room. We chose the hibachi and we're joining by five other new friends. The hibachi is entertaining for anyone that has never been there. It's a great way to celebrate a birthday or a special occasion, particularly for kids. There are options on the menu for sushi, appetizers, in addition to the hibachi specials. The hibachi specials are prepared right in front of you and you can choose from variety of proteins that includes chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops to name a few. All dishes come with rice and vegetables soup and a salad. Potions are very generous. This location does offer a full bar and our service were pretty attentive and we didn't wait too long for anything. The only exception was that I didn't feel the restaurant was exceptionally clean, which is probably due to the hibachi cooking grease. Floors were slippery, curtains separating dining room from bathrooms were in serious need of laundering. If you're looking for a meal where you can have a little fun and not too concerned about housekeeping, you can find a decent meal at this location.
