The food was prepared quickly. We picked it up in about 30-40m. All the food was good. Super nice people!

The rude, sparky comment on my fairly nice review.

I thought this little establishment was going to be amazing. It was local, looked super cute from the outside and even had some lovely reviews with pictures. I unfortunately was wrong. I ordered $40 worth of food. 2 pizzas and some garlic knots. I was looking forward to it! When I received my order, the crust was under baked, cheese was barely melted (looked more like a undercooked frozen pizza), garlic knots were dough and super greasy! There was a pool of grease in the bottom for the foil pan, which leaked all over in the car. I gave a review on Google, just to share my experience and I was answered with a rude and snarky comment. I was being nice and very honest with my service. I also requested a refund, as I dont like confrontation, through email. I was denied that and was told that I can get a free pizza, on them. I declined the offer, as I really didn't like their pizza at all, besides it being under baked, the sauce was sour. I was basically told to kick rocks and it is was it is. The true colors of this establishment came out in aggressive emails and responses for my review. Needless to say, I was very very disappointed that I tried some place new.

As fellow Akron, OH, natives, we had to support this new pizza joint in SW Cape... and boy, why did it take us so long to make it here!? We had two pies (pepperoni, and sausage and banana peppers), and both were fantastic. Chewy, generous amounts of cheese; a great sweet sauce; thicker crust. We WILL be back!

Rancid sour "Alfredo"

well I am pretty sure my Alfredo was rancid. I could smell the sourness from the bag, then I opened the container and the waft of sour rancid dairy hit me. but I thought maybe it's just me. I tried a small piece of noodle with Alfredo and nope. that was not good. so either my food was rancid or they have no idea how to make Alfredo. which is a shame cuz it looked ok. how anyone cooking that couldn't smell it too is wild. Beyond bad and inedible.

Great pizza and very friendly service. Since it's a bit if a drive, we ordered it "half baked" and popped in the oven at home for 10 minutes

Flavors are outstanding. Ricotta dip and the side of potatoes were good but definitely pale in comparison to the flavors in the sandwich. Location is good. Parking was a bit of a chore as it was very crowded but there are options around the building. Service was great. On top of our server, other servers checked in and refilled drinks. Great group working there.

Definitely not bad, but the broth was lacking a little in flavor, so I probably wouldn't order it again. For the table, we got the shrimp tacos, Gouda Mac, and Poultrygeist. The shrimp tacos and Gouda Mac were definitely the standouts--both were great! The Poultrygeist was good overall and had great flavor, but the chicken itself was a little underwhelming. The aioli, though, was absolutely yummy! I'd highly recommend asking for extra on the side because it really made the dish. The portions were a good size, too. We all ended up having leftovers, which is always a plus! Service was great throughout the meal. Our drinks were constantly being refilled, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere had a fun sports bar vibe, but it was still relaxed enough that we could easily talk and catch up. Overall, a solid spot for a casual dinner with friends!

So let me start by saying that this review has little to do with the food but more about the…read moreexperience. As a restaurant, Wingnuts looks like a nice place. They have beer (but no Guinness) and food. Place is clean, service was very good, and ample seating. So my friend Rob found this place through the SWFL Foodies Group. He heard that they had the hottest wings ever. As the self-proclaimed Hot Sauce Champion, I had to accept the challenge. I have eaten hot food/wings from all over the world. Never beaten........ until tonight. Now I know what Mike Tyson felt like after meeting Buster Douglas. What?! What happened? Is it over? See video (https://www.facebook.com/robbie.yeager.1/videos/10215292132360916/). My friend Rob enjoyed videoing this way too much. So YES, the Viper Wings are f#$@ing hot. Ingredient list: Hot Buffalo blended with BBQ, Ghost Pepper extract oil, Ghost peppers, Trinidad Scorpion peppers, and Habanero peppers. Dusted with Cayenne and Carolina Reaper peppers. I think it was the Cayenne that took it over the top - LOL. Unfortunately, eating the wings was just 1/2 the experience. And NO I'm not talking about the "going" part. I experienced some major stomach pains throughout the night, so much so that I couldn't make it to work the next day (lack of sleep). After 6 years - I took my first sick day. So as a warning to others, these wings are no joke. So in the infamous words of Roberto Duran..... No Mas, No Mas

For the past several years I have raved about their Nachos, and rated them the best Nachos in Cape…read moreCoral. So imagine my surprise and disappointment to return to Cape Coral and find they have changed my favorite dish. Instead of the piled high assortment of lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, and chili on top of a bed of corn chips, with a huge scooping of sour cream to top... What they now serve is a flat layer of corn chips with a little bit of chili, a sprinkling of lettuce a few diced tomatoes and jalapeños and a drizzle of watery sour cream. I asked the waitress if this was a different person in the kitchen or if they changed the way they make the dish. Apparently they changed the dish. Big mistake. I guess they're trying to save money by reducing the portion size and what they now include. Yes it mostly the same ingredients, but in very different proportions... And the sour cream is totally different than what they used to use. The result is a very mediocre Nachos and a very poor value. They've gone from the Best Nachos to a don't order again. If you need to adjust for rising costs then raise the price, but don't change the dish. You ruined what was a special menu item... And you lost customers as a result. Too bad.
