The spa is up a flight of stairs and has several treatment rooms. I chose a 90minute deep tissue massage with a hot stone add-on. While the therapist didn't go quite as deep as I prefer, the 90 minutes was an amazing relaxing experience. The value for the service was also really good. I would happily book her again. read more

I have been going to Ginger Springs Day Spa for years and I don't think I've ever thought to leave a review. I have been going recently for the hydra jett facial. It is pretty pricey but the results are amazing and there are many less expensive facials available. I went today because my thoughtful son bought me a gift certificate (quite a coincidence because he didn't know that I went here) for my birthday. I have been so stressed out because of what is going on in this country that my head is spinning. I had the 75 minute Himalayan Salt Stone massage with Jazmine. I don't know when I have been so relaxed. I was floating and all stress vanished. I followed it up with a botanical facial with Susan and was even more relaxed. I'm sure the ugly world/country situation will rear its ugly head but for now I'm good. I highly, highly recommend this day spa. read more

She was able to get me in with Jasmine for an hour. Jasmine was prompt and was all ready for me to. Sure... The full body massage was great but the facial was so-so. Some face creams smelled rancid and the steam wasn't evenly distributed on my face. The lady made a little too much noice fidgeting with drawers and looking for stuff or organizing things. I couldn't relax like I needed too. Also I would have liked to wear sandals to go to the bathroom after my body massage because the bottom of my feet wear creamy so I slipped twice in the bathroom and getting off of the facial massage bed. I had to clean my feet in the bathroom because the floors wear not clean, I cleaned off hair and other debris. Everything else was nice. read more

I booked a facial and a back facial (cause I had never heard of one and was curious!). My esthetician, Susan, was so great! I hadn't had a facial in years so she was able to asses my current skin situation and proceed with recommended treatments. I ended up having some microdermabrasion done and finished with a seaweed mask, plus a peel of sorts on my back. Susan answered all of my skin questions, too, and gave me some tips on how to keep my skin healthy. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I felt so refreshed! I shall return. I was very excited about this massage. I had received a gift card from my in laws to Ginger Springs in celebration of Mother's Day and my birthday. My appointment was at 11:30AM, but I received a phone call at around 11:10AM asking if I was still coming, the masseuse claiming my appointment was at 11AM. Luckily I live close by so got there within a few minutes of the call. I showed her my confirmation email that stated my appointment was at 11:30, to which she replied "oh yes I totally believe you" and something about their booking system being terrible. So now we head into my massage and I'm definitely not feeling relaxed at all, and I ask her if I'm still getting my whole time and she said I could but that would make her late for her next client. She told me if I lessen my time it would give her time to get ready for her next client. Anyway the massage itself was good, so I'm not giving the spa a score of a 1, but honestly didn't feel like my time was respected or that the person cared about the inconvenience. I was also told I'd get an email with the remaining balance of my gift card and I never received that, and it's been over 2 weeks. I previously had a facial done there in April and it was good as well, but I was offered skincare products that were not breastfeeding friendly even though I had answered yes to that section on their intake card, so currently have products I can't use right now and they were not cheap. Overall giving a score of a 3 out of 5 because the massage and facial were good, but poor customer service and the booking system are also enough to make me not want to be a return customer. read more

Kayla gave me an excellent massage with just the right amount of pressure. My only regret is that it wasn't longer. I have a lot tension in my neck and back, and I appreciated that she gave extra attention to my knots. I also liked how she massaged my wrists and hands. It felt really good.
