My baby is a one year old he needs help doing most things luckily grandma tagged along was able to help my son. Was also told this after the fact I paid .. This is a cute gem in Lodi for toddlers and play dates. $15 a kid per entry or membership for $89 a month, and must sign a waiver to participate in play. One free hot coffee/iced coffee/tea/water per adult who accompanies one kid. Small menu items too for sale, or you can bring your own snacks for consumption outside of the play area. They have daily activities at 11am like storytime, music, or sensory play. The place is kept clean and they regulate on safety. They also can host parties by reservation. My kids love going to ginger bugs. It's a little drive for us, about 30 mins away, but worth it to be in the AC and have the kids play and have fun. They have one free coffee which is really nice. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. We love it! read more

Haven't been here yet but not sure if we can during working hours :-( I have the usual M-F 8-5. I wish this place were open weekends or at least Saturdays!! (I'd totally work part time here :-) ) There's isn't enough places like this for young kids in the Stockton/Lodi area. There is a place in Elk Grove though, called Imagine Play which is exactly the same thing but their hours are limited too, Saturday's only until noon I think. I brought my 2 year old daughter here with friend of ours and her 2 kids that are also 2yr. My daughter she had great time, so did her kids. Very great place to bring your kid or kids to burn off some energy. Also cheap snacks and beverages. Great to meet new mommies or daddies. Kiddos meet new friends. I would recommend this place. Only one concern is the outlet by the big dinning table needs to be child proof as my daughter was sticker her fingers in the outlet. read more

I was referred to Gingerbugs when looking for a venue to have my son's first birthday party at. I am a first time mom and really did not know where to start when hosting a kids birthday party, but Kelli and her team were amazing and so easy to work with. From the beginning Kelli answered any questions that I had. I wanted to make my sons party special and decided to book a photographer and balloon twister. Kelli recommend both vendors to me and made the whole party planning process so much easier. We chose the custom party package and she brought our vision to reality. All of my guests as well as I were beyond impressed with the decorations and kept commenting how cute everything was during the event. Even after the event everyone was telling me how great everything turned out. The whole experience and end result was more than I could have ever wanted. Today was our first time coming to Ginger Bugs and we will definitely be returning! My daughter doesn't have a shy bone in her body and jumped right into the action while my shy son held back. Luckily he warmed up and they both had a great time. This place is super clean plus spacious for everything and everyone. The cleanliness is a big thing in my book. My son had cancer two years ago (14 months cancer free) so I am pretty nutty over germs. But Ginger Bugs was so clean, I didn't have the feeling that I had to disinfect both kids. read more

My husband and I attended a birthday party here for our granddaughter. It was such a great place for all the kids! There were around 10 kids and they all had plenty of room to run around and be wild! They had so much fun. There are also couches in the play area so parents can be close to their playing children. The owners keep everything immaculate - I wore my socks the whole time and they were still pristine-looking at the end of the party. Ginger Bugs also has a machine that they run all the balls (from the ball pit) through to disinfect them. They disinfect all surfaces before the next party comes in. There is also a separate area for the adults to sit and a coffee bar for those parents that need an extra jolt! Overall such a great experience and wonderful management by the owner. read more

This is such a fun place to take My two year old son in the morning after we drop his sister off at school. Their early hours are very convenient, whereas most kid places don't open until 10. For kids who need activity in the morning this is a great option. The environment is always clean, safe and welcoming. My son begs to go back every time we leave. It's not a huge place but rather the perfect size for young children to explore and make new friends while care givers can either play along aide or sit back at the coffee bar or picnic table and talk to other grown up or have some alone time. It is also one of the beat places for a birthday party in Lodi. The kids have a blast and the owners put on a great party. Ginger bugs is a great option for little kids, especially when the weather outside isn't conducive for children. It's been such a great addition to the Lodi children's scene and I hope they stay open for many years to come. :-) read more

Such a GREAT place! I have a 2 year old and besides the park (which isn't always ideal with the weather) there is not much to do in town for toddlers. This place is such a simple but great idea! Day passes aren't expensive at all and they do give you the option to have a membership if you plan on taking your little one here often. 5 stars for this awesome place!
