Entry requires a minimal fee. The self-tour won't take more than a couple hours. During my visit, the snack bar wasn't opened. It was a pretty quiet atmosphere, and not busy at all. Outside of this zoo, there's a Japanese Garden, picnic sites, outdoor event venues, a golf course, a water park, and therefore some fishing. I missed visiting the Japanese Garden, but it would've been worth my visit. Micke Grove is another broad recreational area. Since the zoo in located inside the grove, there's and initial entrance fee into the multi-acreage park. The drive to get to the zoo goes right, and all the way around several parking lots - look for signage. Visiting here makes for a good random, but leisurely plan.

Instead of providing service, this employee seemed more concerned about getting customers out the door.The situation became even more frustrating during check-in. I clearly provided my phone number multiple times, yet the employee repeatedly asked me to repeat it and still managed to enter it incorrectly. This wasted everyone's time and showed a surprising lack of attention to detail for such a basic task.What truly stood out was the complete lack of accountability. After making the mistake herself, the employee did not apologize or take responsibility. Instead, she blamed the customer and accused us of having a bad attitude. Being treated disrespectfully because of an employee's own error is unacceptable.As a paying member, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated neither. A business can have great facilities, great products, and great prices, but none of that matters when customers are treated with disrespect.If this is the level of service provided to members, I would strongly encourage potential customers to think twice before spending their money here. I did find that the negative reviews were closer to my experience than the positive reviews. It is poorly run. They have only one counter person who is willing to spend 10 or 15 minutes on a customer trying to convince them to buy a membership. That means everyone else has to wait in line while this happens. Very poor service. Since I was the adult waiting for a couple of children for 90 minutes I looked to see if they had a guest Wi-Fi and they did. I asked them for the password and they said that's a leftover from the old owner. They never thought of just unplugging the router so that it doesn't broadcast that ssid. Additionally on 100° plus day the temperature inside was about 78°. Everybody is sweating including myself just sitting there. Filling out the release I find that they have no restrictions on what they do with your personally identifiable information. You cannot opt out of them selling it. I just entered false information. The kids did have fun which is the reason they don't get a one-star review. There is an old saying that Stockton is where restaurants come to die, I would say this may be true of sky zone too.

This area is surrounded by the Mokelumne River Riparian. There are a few picnic tables next to the parking lot, but most of the picnic tables were located under a huge gazebo towards the end of the play area. In front of the activity area is a small playground with slides and climbing structures. This whole area is surrounded by water so small children should be closely supervised ! As always be aware of your surroundings and be safe !
