Fraudulent vendor please aboid her at all cost. I purchased a Groupon from this vendor and contacted her to book an appointment. We agreed on the booking, I informed her I had a Groupon, and everything was confirmed. When I arrived and she finished the service, she suddenly told me she was not accepting Groupon because "Groupon wasn't paying her." She then forced me to pay an extra $100, charging me $250 total instead of the $135 Groupon price. She told me to go to Groupon for a refund, but when I contacted Groupon, she refused to approve the refund. I was stuck going back and forth between Groupon and her with no resolution. It was extremely frustrating and unfair. I even tried filing a dispute with my credit card company, but it did not work, and I strongly believe she misrepresented the situation to avoid accountability. To make it worse, I later received a notification from Groupon that the business name had changed from Masha to Gina Cosmo, which made the situation even more suspicious. Even the work it self also turned out really bad. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had through Groupon. Deceptive, manipulative, and dishonest business practices. Went to Carmen Cosmo to get my eyebrows micro bladed and ended up getting a combination of micro blading and tattooing done. It's my fourth time getting my brows done in the last decade and this time was just as good as every other time. As someone who has eyebrows that naturally grow just a little too far apart microblading has been a god send. So far I'm over a month out and it doesn't look like I'm going to need any touch ups but she said if I did just call in and she'll get me in for whatever needed to be touched up. Also had a Brazilian wax done by Jihan while I was there it was perfect! A little more time consuming because they use sugar rather than hard wax BUT again I am a month out from my services and just now starting to get regrowth. I got a decent haircut at this salon. However, when I booked a new appointment, to get hair color, and show up at the appointed time, the salon was closed (it was a Friday afternoon, at 3pm). I called, no dice. I texted, no dice. I had tried to book the appointment online, and gotten no response - so email is useless too. I found a microblading deal on Groupon and did my research to find that Gina had the best reviews. So I purchased the Groupon(originally $200 but I received an additional coupon that made it $150), made my reservation online, and followed up with a phone call to confirm. The day finally came (I was soooo excited). When I arrived I was quickly seated since I was the first appointment. She didn't ask many questions about how I wanted my brows but I had already googled pics of how I wanted them to look so I showed her those. Since she didn't say much I started to ask questions: what color are you going to use? Is it going to hurt? Etc... I felt like the sketch with eyeliner to mark the procedure was not even. But my brother assured me it was. I was surprised she did not use a numbing cream as I had read about the procedure online. It hurt like h3ll! I prayed for it to end. As she neared the end I was not as happy with the scar in my brow as I hoped it would be better covered. When I addressed it she said she only did one line. The main reason I started filling in my eyebrows with makeup was to cover the scar so that was disappointing. However, Gina was super nice and super fast. The procedure with consultation took about 45 minutes. She made me feel comfortable and I loved how natural my brows looked. She didn't give me that many instructions. Just what cream to buy and to use it for 7 days. As I left (in pain) I couldn't stop starring at my brows. I loved them. Over the course of a week they scabbed, peeled, and itched. I could soon start seeing fading and they no longer look how they did the first day. A part of my research, I saw that it should be a 2 step process. I would like to return for a touch up. Okay I wanted to wait until my touch-up to officially write this review. The pricing is cheap and you get what you pay for through the Groupon, paid $200 plus $50 tip for the first go around I messaged her about some blank patchy spots to do the touch up which I was charged $50 for. I get my eyelashes done from a local tech close to my house that I've been going to for a while, and her pricing is a little more expensive for microblading that's why I didn't go to her for the eyebrows but now I'm regretting it. You can see in the comparison of the picture that I attached the top one is my eyebrows and the bottom one is my lashes tech. The lines are very straight and thick in the top one and you can see that they are a little curved to look more natural in the second one and smaller. I feel it will fade out after a while and it won't look so harsh and hard, But I will have to wait another year before I can truly fix them after paying $300 total I'm completely regretting my decision and I wish I would have just bit the bullet in the beginning to get them properly done. If you think the first one is better than the second one then you make your own decision. This may go away but I also noticed bumps on my eyelashes possibly from unsanitary products and the patch that I went in to get the touch up on is still there so I'm wondering if there is permanent damage that has been done to my eyelash hair folicules. My sister and I went to Carmen Cosmo for a sugar wax we found on Groupon. It was our first time getting a wax-- nervous is an understatement. The women were professional and kind as we squirmed, screamed, and laughed hysterically. The tears had nothing to do with the service and everything to do with all of my hair being ripped from groin all at once. Totally worth it! Jihan was our technician, and I was so grateful of her professionalism as I laid bare, just Pooh Bearin' with this stranger as she ripped each follicle from my skin. With each tender rip, I let out a guffaw louder than the last. To speak more of their professionalism, I believe Gina was the stylist in the next room who turned up the music when she figured my disturbing laughter would not let up. This is a late review. I got my eyebrows and lip lining done with Gina a few months back. I paid 500$ for it, and it was the worst mistake I could've made. She doesn't ask you how you want them, she doesn't communicate brush strokes. She doesn't use any type of alignment method, just fills in your brows and doesn't even follow what she fills.. At one point I was unhappy with the one brow she had done so far and I told her what I didn't like (the positioning of the brush strokes) but I said "I guess it's too late now" assuming she'd still match up the eyebrows.. all she told me was to lay back again.. and when I looked in the mirror after she was done.. she did my other eyebrow completely different.. and HIGHER than the other one.. like I have a permanent eyebrow raise.. The Rock style.. smh.. on top of that, she's not sanitary.. she used tissues to rub the ink off and the fibers/pieces were sticking to the slits.. she didn't put the ink they usually add on top of the brow after cutting.. she just dipped the blade in the ink as she went. She doesn't ask you about coloring or what you want it to fade into.. she picks a color she likes and starts slicing away.. as for my lips.. she tattooed a straight line over my Cupid's bow... and when I pointed it out ( I didn't feel what she had done because of the numbing cream ) she went over the Cupid's bow but WHAT WAS THE POINT THEN!? She left me with a triangle above my Cupid's bow.. luckily the lining healed so thinly, it's practically gone now.. so what was the point o even getting it done? lol Save your money.. don't spend it here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Work photos are FAKE, and she is not a licensed aesthetician. She does have a cosmetology license from a different country but looking at her products I took a photo and when I googled it it said they were not FDA approved. I got my eyebrows micro bladed after looking at her work and recent reviews. I am now spending thousands of dollars having to get them laser removed. When I asked her why they were uneven and completely solid she blew it off and told me to let it lighten up. Beware she also tells you to come in two weeks after your initial appointment for touch ups this is not correct you are supposed to wait at least 4-6 weeks. She talks on the phone the entire appointment, and puts the numbing cream in for 5 min. Absolutely NO after care instructions, didn't ask what I wanted, and when asked to correct what she had done she informed me "she knew best". She adds extra charges in to the service not listed, and every other reputable micro blading place in this area offers a free touchup which is what she initially said then when I get there there's also a charge for that. I am completely mortified I'm having to spend so much to fix this I have called around the area for the last few months and all of the artists are familiar with her work and have been fixing it for years. This was a pretty horrible experience. I've gotten waxed before & sugared before so I knew what to expect going in. First of all apparently a full body wax doesn't include a Brazilian which caught me off guard because that's what I scheduled (full body wax) anyway I asked the lady to just do full legs & a Brazilian since that's what I really went there for. She accommodated after some back & forth, I was able to pay $100 which is what I wanted to spend. NOW, let's get into the nitty gritty details. She did not prep my skin prior to using the sugar wax which is normal sometimes so I didn't pay much mind, but then she started ripping off my hair without any gloves or a mask (considering we're in a pandemic that should be the bare minimum). I have never cried during a wax appointment, I was in so much pain my body was soaked in sweat. I asked her for a dry towel to wipe my sweat which she provided but then a few minutes later took it away from me saying she'd give it back but she didn't. OKAY, we get to the Brazilian part of the appointment & she didn't use gloves & I felt violated because she was putting her fingers everywhere. I kept telling her it hurts & she kept saying we're almost done. The sugar wax that she used was not warm & as she was ripping it off, it flew on my clothes & IT FLEW ACROSS THE ROOM ON THE FLOOR, SHE JUST PICKED IT UP & KEPT USING THAT SAME WAX ON MY INTIMATE AREA. I was livid but I was in too much pain to say anything. Once she finished she handed me a warm towel, said to wipe myself & that she will wash her hands. She returned & I wasn't done yet, she seemed irritated with me & told me to lay on my stomach & she'll wipe the backside. I walked out of there with eyes full of tears & my whole body shaking. I'm choosing to write this review after a week because it took a while to actually process how messed up this whole experience was. I can't believe I spent a $100 & because I just wanted to get the hell out, I didn't even realize I tipped her $15. My husband was with me to vouch for how traumatized I felt afterwards.
